The venue was excellently placed for walking distance to the wharf and main street restaurants. It was set back from the road with limited view of the water, but protected from road noise. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped for our needs. It was reasonably clean but it could have done with a quick once over to get rid of all the dead insects on surfaces. It was nice to find fresh milk and crumpets in the fridge for us. We would definitely stay there again.

Christin and John are very lovely and welcoming hosts!We enjoyed our stay at their Riverhouse Apartment very much. The apartment has everything you need.A little highlight is also that you can watch the historic steam train from the balcony. The wharf and city center are within walking distance and Hindmarsh Island is not far away, too.

Peaceful and Quiet

Lovely quiet area, very comfortable and clean. Short walk to riverfront area, market, shops and local pubs that do excellent meals.

Great Location

Great property in a really good location in town. Easy to walk to Goolwa wharf, coffee shops and local parks. Townhouse is comfortable and private even though it’s contained in the yard of another property.

Location, location, location

A party of two couples, we found this a wonderful location to explore Goolwa, and we walked everywhere. The warmth of the welcome from Christine and John was much appreciated.
