Wonderful week in Bass Harbor. Great views on 3 sides. Very clean and well equipped with everything you might need. We have rented through VRBO many times, and this property is one of the very best.

Clean and pretty New England home with beautiful views! My husband and I had a wonderful stay! Everything was perfect and was described very accurately on the website. The kitchen and bath were stocked well. We cooked in most every night, so the spices and olive oil that they supplied were a great touch. The furniture was comfortable, including the patio set. All in all, a wonderful stay!

This is the perfect quiet-side getaway for enjoying Acadia NP. I can't imagine a better place to sit and watch the tide and boats come and go. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly want. The furniture and bed are comfortable and the local artwork is spectacular. Be sure to walk next door and take a cruise with Captain Eli. Take advantage of Scotty's Kayak shop's 3 day kayak deal that includes delivery. Time your paddling around high tide and enjoy exploring the harbor.

Such a wonderful home away from home. The views are stunning from every window and the deck. We loved spending time at the house as much as visiting other sites on MDI. The nature cruise from Bass Harbor Cruises was wonderful and informative. Loved staying in Bass Harbor - everything a relaxing vacation should be.

This rental was a dream! We cannot stop wishing we were still there. This place is just absolutely perfect in every single way. Comfortable, beautifully decorated, beautiful location and views, amazing owners, incredibly clean. Fun watching the boats come in and out all day!

What a beautiful location right on the harbor! Magnificent! This is true Maine. The apartment was very comfortable and cozy. The fireplace was put to good use and much enjoyed. Very clean too. Thank you, Charlene! Loved it!

Breathtaking location

When we walked in we were in awe of the view from all of the windows in the home. It was very clean and beautifully furnished. We were very close to Thurstons for delicious lobster. I would recommend this rental property to everyone.

Exceptional rental house, amazing setting. Loved the panoramic views of the bay, the open but cozy living space, and the clean and fresh condition of the house. Although the location is at the southern tip of the island, we were able to easily get to the other parts of the island and Acadia NP. Enjoyed the nearby restaurant that has a patio on the bay. Great communication with our host.

Paradise on the quiet side

The view of Bass Harbor out our windows and our private deck was beautiful! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. We are discussing when we can come again!

Such A Lovely Spot That we Came Back Again for Two Weeks This Time

Perfect spot to appreciate MDI with a 270 degree view of Bass Harbor — which is a scenic working harbor on MDI. Everything was as promised and very responsive hosts. We will be back!

Fall Vacation

Our stay was amazing. The view was amazing and relaxing. The house was amazing and extremely clean. Well appointed and comfortable, felt like home. It was hard to leave. Loved watching the lobster boats. This is a great place and we can't say enough about it. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Quintessential Mount Desert Island

Beautiful apartment with 270 Degree Views. Great sunset views. Perfect stay on the quiet side of MDI. We love to look out in the working harbor and see the lobster boats come and go. Very comfortable Nicely furnished place with a well equipped kitchen. We will be back!
