Considere esta preciosa brillante Suite frente al mar, 1 dormitorio en una playa de arena en la bahía de Cordova, la joya escondida de Victoria, para un retiro tranquilo o unas vacaciones activas.

Made Us Smile, A Lot!

This property is meant for two persons, and that suited us well. The owners live upstairs - no problem, and they had just the right amount of friendly interaction with us. The property was very neat and clean when we arrived. It was equipped with everything we needed. There were plenty of windows and the views were excellent. The neighborhood was up-scale. The property is on a quiet street. There are good restaurants and shops within a short drive. We would recommend this property for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Than you, Rainer and Barb, for everything!

A little slice of heaven

My husband and I were fortunate to stay for the month of June at this location. It was absolutely lovely! The view is exactly as the pictures show and the home itself is better than the pictures. When you walk in you are surrounded by windows and feel like you are at the beach immediately. The living area is welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped really well for all your needs. The bedroom is spacious and having laundry facilities in the bathroom, especially for a long stay, is fantastic. The location is great for walking to a nearby restaurant and the lovely Mattick's Farm and the drive to downtown Victoria or Sidney is very easy. Finally, Rainer and Barb are lovely people and can't do enough to make you feel welcome and comfortable. This is the best place I have ever rented and I have been using VRBO around the world for a long time. Highly recommend!!

Perfect Fall Getaway

Accommodation was very comfortable, perfect size for one to two people. Had everything I needed. Perfect location for me. Quiet, great place to unplug and leave work stress behind. The view is beautiful and beach access fantastic. The owners are lovely, very hospitable. I recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Reiner and Barb.

A Wonderfull Getaway!

My husband and I spent 10 nights at this rental. It is ideally located with a view of the ocean, and easy access to the beach. The accommodation was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated sitting on a deck in front of the suite, and the thoughtfulness of our host in putting chairs out on a deck right by the beach for our use and enjoyment.We had excellent communications with our hosts prior to our arrival and during our stay. Our hosts were attentive to our every need and request. They were available if needed, but respected our privacy. The accommodations and view are outstanding. We would definitely stay at this property again. Thank you for a memorable and relaxing vacation, Rainer and Barb,

Amazing Time in Cordova Bay

Our hosts were the nicest people, so kind and thoughtful. The property is right on the water and access to the km long beach is easy. Waking up to seeing the sunrise from the bright great room was something that we never got tired of, huge windows made the space so bright. Having our own private entrance to our space made it feel like home. A private covered porch to sit outside to have a coffee while looking at the water was a great way to start the day. Parking was good for one car. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything that we needed, and having a washer and dryer right in the unit made our stay easier. The neighbourhood is wonderful with golf, cute shops and a nice grocery store just 5 minutes away. Downtown Victoria is only a 20 minute drive. We would choose this as our #1 place to stay in Victoria.

Fantastic property!

We had such a lovely time in Victoria, and our stay at Rainer and Barb’s property made it perfect! Such a gem right on the beach front (which is actually more rare than you might think!), was quiet and beautiful. Great spot to sit in the morning with your coffee and watch the ocean. 10-15 minutes to just about anywhere, gas and grocery really close and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We did lots of exploring trails on the island, and Coming back here was like coming home. Rainer and Barb made our stay so comfortable, they are the perfect hosts! We will be back here to stay again!

The 45th Anniversary Trip

This was our first VRBO and we were very happy with our choice. The pic's made me think it might be a bit on the small size but not the case it is more than enough room for two. It is very quiet and private. With cover from the rain, it was a wonderful place to sit on the porch as well as the patio closer to the beach. Parking was good and not near the street. Everything we could want was there and in very good shape. Would have no problem recommending to a friend if they were wanting​ to visit the area.

The perfect place to relax!

The suite is incredibly close to the water. The beach was both beautiful and walkable; it also had access to a restaurant/cafe several doors down. The amenities were perfect, including kayaks, a grill and a kitchen full of quality cookware. Rainer and Barb are wonderful hosts--thoughtful, attentive and accommodating to the max!

Absolutely the perfect location! I would stay there again.

The picture doesn't do the view justice. It was truly unbelievable. The sunrise and moon over the water were stunning. You can see the view sitting on the couch, from the kitchen & breakfast table, and chairs on a covered, decked patio just off the back of the house (and of course the table with umbrella in the picture which are at the beach edge). At low-tide there are sand bars to walk on; otherwise, you may want shoes because the beach is primarily covered with smooth pebbles. We usually opened the sliding glass door to allow breezes into the house. Even from the couch with the door open you can hear the gentle waves. The house was immaculate and the bed comfortable. A very sweet and helpful couple live in the 2nd story. My husband and I stayed for 7 days, visiting from Atlanta, GA. I can say that with all we saw in and around Victoria, I have no regrets picking this location. My husband was so impressed with the beauty of Cordova Bay, he discussed us one day having a second home there. We would stay there again and certainly recommend it to friends and family.

Rainer and Barbara were such terrific hosts. The 700 sq ft apartment felt like 7,000 sq ft with all the water facing windows offering grand views of Haro Straits, San Juan Island and occasionally Mt. Baker. The apartment is by far the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful week at Rainer and Barb's oceanfront suite. It was exactly as described and more. The suite is nicely finished and furnished. The kitchen is well outfitted with everything you need. The sunrises and views of Mt Baker are gorgeous. An extra bonus is the lovely Beach House Restaurant just a few doors down, and you are a short walk from Matticks Farm, with supermarket, liquor store, and cafe. We highly recommend this suite for your next stay in beautiful Victoria.

A beautiful suite and a wonderful location

The suite is ideal for anyone who can get lost in a gorgeous view or likes to walk. Quiet owners have provided a private space. If you like to golf or to shop, I would recommend a short walk down to Mattick's Farm.

We are two retired professional accountants who have lived in Victoria since 1976 and purchased this property in 1993 when we saw it as we were walking along the beach. We are both active and enjoy walking, hiking and biking. Rainer is also an avid golfer and pickleball player.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We purchased this property because it is located at beach level on a sandy beach. Beach level access properties which do not require stairs to get to and from the beach are quite rare in Greater Victoria.
The other thing that attracted us is the proximity of the grocery store, pharmacy, coffee shop, restaurants and golf course. We don't need to get into our car for every little thing.
