A solo un paso del ajetreo en el hermoso Jordaan de Ámsterdam, en un canal tranquilo, te encantará esta hermosa casa unifamiliar de cuatro pisos y más de 4 habitaciones. Construida en el siglo XVII, esta casa ha sido cuidadosamente restaurada y modernizada con grandes espacios de vida, así como una terraza al aire libre para disfrutar de una cena o tomar el sol. Una casa de vacaciones realmente acogedora cerca de la Casa de Ana Frank, Museos, De 9 Straatjes. Nuestro lugar es bueno para parejas, viajeros de negocios, familias (con niños).

Al entrar en la casa, apreciará de inmediato la sensación acogedora y antigua con los acabados modernos, así como los espacios luminosos. En línea recta, puede elegir bajar cuatro escalones hasta la cocina y el amplio salón / comedor. Hay una cocina totalmente equipada y una mesa de comedor para albergar las comidas familiares. En esta sala ofrecemos un televisor de 40 pulgadas con Playstation-3 y juegos. Adyacente a esta sala, tiene acceso a una terraza privada que da al sur y está completamente aislada. Hay un medio baño en este piso y acceso a una bodega con lavadora / secadora.

Subiendo un tramo de escaleras, tiene una habitación familiar con un acogedor sofá para ver televisión (TV de 36 "con Apple TV / Netflix) y una mesa para jugar o dibujar ...

Continúa hasta el segundo y tercer nivel y entrarás en los pisos para dormir. La parte delantera de la casa alberga el dormitorio más grande con cama extragrande y TV. Hay un baño moderno en cada piso, uno con ducha y otro con bañera / ducha. La parte trasera de la casa ofrece una habitación más pequeña con una cama doble extraíble (king) y para los niños esta habitación puede estar equipada con muchos juguetes para jugar.

Las comodidades adicionales incluyen una lavadora / secadora en el sótano, juguetes, juegos, juguetes al aire libre, scooters y más. Ropa de cama de lujo y artículos de tocador, secador de pelo y más también están incluidos. El estacionamiento en la calle a una tarifa diaria está disponible, pero es costoso. También podemos organizar el almacenamiento del refrigerador para su llegada a pedido.

Tenemos dos bicicletas para adultos (una es una bicicleta de carga) disponibles para que las uses, ¡entonces puedes viajar como un verdadero Amsterdammer! Dos bicicletas para adolescentes / adultos pequeños también están disponibles. Se pueden alquilar bicicletas adicionales cerca.

We had a spectacular stay at this truly lovely home, and a flawless experience with the owners. The space is beautifully maintained, exactly as it appears in the photos and is comfortable, spacious and cozy all at once. The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook, there were plenty of towels in the bathroom and the welcome basket was full of fun local treats. Camilla was the most gracious and helpful host and communicative from the start. She gamely fielded my questions before and during our stay and was authentically eager to help. An all-round great experience.

Location, location, location! It doesn’t get any better than this. This house was spacious, clean and extremely well appointed. Our family had an amazing time. Communication with the homeowner was easy, quick and full of helpful details. I would highly recommend this listing to any family traveling and looking for a true Amsterdam living experience. Only cautionary note, the stairs may not be ideal for babies or elderly. We loved every bit of this amazing home!

This has been one of our favorite stays in Amsterdam. The house is very generous in size, with a beautiful kitchen and everything to make meals. And even though the very busy Prinsengracht is just around the corner, the location of this home is so tranquil.All amenities are very close, and the best part of the city are on the door step.Camilla and Adam are absolutely wonderful hosts, so generous and helpful. We would love to return.

Fantastic Spot in a Great Neighborhood

My family and I just spent a week at this place in Jordaan. I have nothing but great things to say. The apartment is great. Everything is exactly as the listing shows. But the big winner is the location. Jordaan is such a great neighborhood and the apartment is easy walking / biking distance to absolutely everything. And the hosts; Camilla and Adam are just lovely. Would absolutely stay again.

Great house in Jordaan

The house is on a beautiful canal street, and Camilla and Adam were very helpful hosts. The property gave us lots of room to spread out and enjoy Amsterdam. The beds were comfortable and we had a great time! Pictures are accurate and give a good idea of what to expect. The stairs are quite narrow and steep, so this house is best for adults and children old enough to manage the stairs. Not suitable for small children or anyone who would have trouble with a narrow staircase. There is a toilet on the ground floor and a full bathroom on the third floor. It was a great stay in a lovely part of Amsterdam. Thank you to Camilla and Adam for making us feel welcome!

Wonderful home in an ideal part of Amsterdam, was close to all major tourist sites. Host was welcoming, kind and informative, they went above and beyond before and during our stay. Would highly recommend.

Delightful Dutch Days

We enjoyed five nights at Camilla’s canal front home. The space is gigantic and easily accommodated our family of 4, with two teenagers. It had everything we needed, a perfect location close to everything, a quiet canal, and the host was extremely helpful. We couldn’t be happier and would book again if we return to Amsterdam.

The best area of Amsterdam!

We had such an amazing stay at this home. The home is absolutely storybook perfect and is located in one of the best neighborhoods. We travel often to Amsterdam and usually stay in the hotel that hosts a yearly conference we attend. This year we decided to bring our teenaged grandkids with us and were interested in having a private home. We could not have been more pleased! The home is located right on a canal and within walking distance of artisanal butchers and bakers, with local chain groceries available as well. We were surrounded by great restaurants (book Men Impossible when you reserve the house) and a fabulous bagel shop (Bread Winner) just across the canal. Camilla let us borrow her cat, bikes for the kids, and umbrellas for our stay. We could not have asked for a better host, or house.

Absolutely Incredible Stay in Amsterdam

Visited Amsterdam for a week with my mom and brother and stayed here, it was absolutely perfect. The convenience of the location and beauty of the neighborhood cannot be overstated. Camilla was so friendly and helpful, she was a perfect host. The apartment itself was also so beautiful and the perfect place for us to unwind and recharge in between our adventures; the garden in the back was such a gem and a rare find. Look no further, this is the ideal place to stay while visiting Amsterdam!

The KINDEST host!!

Camilla was the absolute best! We had a family issue and had to cancel our stay but then it ended up working it out and I had asked if we could go ahead and come and she was so very kind to let us and she worked with me a lot to put it back in motion. I was so grateful! I love Amsterdam and this was a great area to stay. So close to everything (5 min to the Metro, 5 min to the grocery store, so many restaurants, croissants, shops, gelato within a 5-10 minute walk. But, it was so quiet. The house manager was lovely when we got there and everything was in working order and great! I loved the backyard too. That was a plus. It was comfortable and beautiful and clean. I would definitely stay again! Thank you Camilla for everything!! You really were incredible.

Loved our stay and can’t wait to return! Perfect neighborhood, right in the thick of everything but still quiet. We bought a painting from a gallery just around the corner, and olive oil & tapenade from Olivaria; ate at Mesiba, lovely Israeli restaurant also just around the corner.

Amazing home and location

The house is unique and beautiful, with wonderful views from all of the windows. It was accurately described and photographed. Camilla was a responsive and helpful host from before our arrival and throughout our trip. She helped get us settled in time with our arrival, even though it was prior to the property’s check in time. The house is an easy walk to museums and markets. If you are tired, it is easy to take the tram within a couple of blocks. There are only positives when staying at this property :)

Great location, comfortable and peaceful home

From the start, we felt welcomed and at home. The owner welcomed us at check-in, and oriented us to the neighborhood and house. After our long travels, we appreciated thoughtful touches including fresh flowers and local treats. The location is spectacular along a smaller canal and next to a wonderful cafe, and just moments from interesting restaurants, grocery stores and shops. We bicycled everywhere, which was exciting and whipped us into better physical condition in a few days, so we enjoyed coming home each evening to this quiet, comfortable retreat. Many thanks to the hosts for making this home available to travelers!

Perfect House in a wonderful neighbour hood with lovely owners as neighbours

Lauriergracht is a beautifully appointed house with everything you need for a comfortable and fun stay in Amsterdam. Camilla was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. We spent a lot of time in the house due to the rainy weather and really enjoyed the TV/sofa area and the big kitchen table. I highly recommend this house for a family holiday or a holiday with friends.

Lovely Canal House

This is a lovely modernized home in a great neighborhood on a canal. We were there with our 2 adult grandchildren. We enjoyed the seating area in the back garden. We never figured out the electrical switches and I would caution guests to noticed the stairs in the photos when choosing. We are in our late seventies and managed, but they are something to navigate. We couldn't have enjoyed the experience more and the local suggestions made by the host were perfect. We hired the small boat to cruise the canals on our own, which was an absolutely perfect experience. Would return in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Wonderful experience

Our group of four, family and friends, spent a week at Lauriergracht 89 “The Wisteria House” and it was as lovely as the name implies. We arrived in the morning and Camilla was kind enough to let us in early. That’s one of the many pluses to having the owner living next door along with instant response to any of our questions. The welcome basket lasted a week and we enjoyed the coffee and espresso pods she provided out in the fabulous garden. It’s such a lovely spot and we enjoyed it daily. The neighborhood was perfect for walking to the museums, restaurants and shopping and no need to bring travel books as the house has plenty and the House Manual is filled with great recommendations. The top floor bedroom is expansive in size and the mattresses are very comfortable with nice linens. I think it could use a small dresser but there is an abundance of closet space on the second floor. It was the perfect home for our group and I will definitely return. Thank you Camilla!

Delightful

The townhouse is everything you could possibly need or want. We felt at home immediately. The home was spotless & comfortable with wonderful treats left by the homeowner Camilla. The kitchen is full supplied with coffee, teas, spices etc. The backyard was lovely to sip cocktails in the afternoon. The tv area was delightfully comfortable for late night relaxing. The neighborhood is wonderful, coffee shops, pastry, great restaurants. We loved the Jordaan vibe! Camilla was such a warm host, can't thank you enough! Hope to see you next year.

Authentic Canal House

Such a great place, very nice kitchen and living area. We really enjoyed those floors. Felt that the third floor bedroom could have used better lighting and the damaged shades were not very welcoming. Just felt sparse. Biggest concern was the fourth floor- such a nice bedroom area but no railing on stairs seems dangerous and very difficult to navigate.

We are a family of 6 and we live in the heart of the most beautiful area in Amsterdam. We love traveling and we like sharing our home with other families.

There is nothing else out there like our home! It is a complete canal-side house which is rare in Amsterdam, we bought this home because we felt it had everything we wanted for our family. It boasts a comfortable outside for dining and lounging, the home is nicely laid-out with two sleeping floors in the top of the house with bathrooms on each floor. There are two living spaces so the kids can watch TV or play and 'hang' in a separate part of the house. The home is big enough to play, work, relax and entertain friends in. The area the home is situated in is right in the middle of everything yet the canal is quiet and intimate. Shops, museums, the Anne Frank House are all just around the corner. We feel very lucky to live here and we want to share it with nice families out there who are looking for special homes to spend their holidays in. Our home is not designed for renting, it is designed to live in with older children and adults and each and everyone should be comfortable. We have over time done several restorations to the house as it is a protected property from the 17th century. Our home has a very nice and warm vibe, people love to visit and we have hosted many friends here over the years...
