We used the house for a business planning meeting. It was a great venue for this, with perfect proximity to amazing restaurants downtown. We had a tight schedule so Cezar arranged for two employees from the hotel next door to prepare and serve breakfast and lunch for us, both days. Honestly, this was one of the highlights. The food was great and the two gentlemen that prepared and served it were flexible, polite, helpful... I can't say enough good things about them. I also appreciate Cezar and his team for relieving me of that task, as planning and facilitating these retreats is always a lot to take on. They didn't miss a beat and executed flawlessly.

Fun family getaway in Puerto Vallarta

Great private family getaway with an awesome pool!. In the middle of downtown Puerto Vallarta with access to restaurants, shopping, beach and more within walking distance. The 9 rooms, kitchen and living room accommodates everyone!. We loved it!!

Perfect Getaway

My friends and I traveled here for my 30th birthday. It was perfect in every way. The location, the space, the common areas, and the beautiful design. Casa Carmen is perfectly located, only half a block from the beach and 1 block from the Melcon Boardwalk. Our group walked the beach and boardwalk every day. We were lucky to be there during the Feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe so there was a parade every night starting 2 blocks away from our place (Dec 1-12). The rooms were all spacious, had great AC, and unique in design. The common areas were perfect to hold our group for board games or hanging out. The private pool was amazing to have and it was heated to the perfect temperature. The Hotel Rosita staff was so kind and easy to communicate with, restocking our towels, toiletries, and water daily. They key situation made it easy for individual members of our group to come and go easily. This is the perfect place to stay for a group trip. I will definitely be coming back here anytime I travel to PV with a group.

Amazing!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Carmen! Only thing I wish was that we had more than one key to the front door. Having one key makes it difficult for multiple adults staying in a villa, but the staff and everyone were very friendly and accommodating.

Will book this again

Our family of 12 including a 9 week old, 6&2 year old really enjoyed our stay. We all had our own room which was so nice and because we rented the whole building we could just chill and leave our crap wherever. There are 3 very large rooms and the rest are still very comfortable. Each room has excellent A/C and a mini fridge. Kitchen has a regular size fridge as well. Every room had its own internet that worked amazing. The beach is steps away as is a little corner market for drinks/snacks. 2 min from boardwalk. Book it!!we will def come back.

2024 Family Reunion

Casa Carmen was really nice for a family of 15. The rooms were lovely and since we all enjoy cooking; we had a large kitchen to do just that. It would have been nice to have a full oven, but we still enjoyed great meals together around the large table. The location was perfect for all that we wanted to see and do. Check-in was easy and the staff friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Casa Carmen was everything we needed it to be for our family gathering. The space is beautiful and well maintained. It’s right in the middle of all the action and the beach is just steps away. Absolutely perfect!

Everyone loved Casa Carmen!

We had a group of 14 adults staying here and we all loved the property, the location, and the ability to split up at times so everyone could go enjoy whatever activities that interested them. I would highly suggest this property for large groups of friends or family.

Fabulous Family Stay

Just spent a week with my family at Casa Carmen and couldn’t have been more pleased. The rooms were beautiful and exceptionally large with a refrigerator, private bath, and television in each one. There was plenty of storage space, and a well appointed kitchen. The staff brought clean towels and cleaned the pool every morning. Location was ideal… just a block from the beach in one direction, and a block from the main street with shopping and restaurants in the other direction. It’s only a couple of miles from Sam’s Club and Costco, which allowed us to stock up on foods for the times we didn’t want to eat out. (if you’re only going to one, I would do Costco for a better selection.) Couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Amazing place!

The place fit all 19 of my friends comfortably. We had an amazing time here, especially with the pool. The AC in each room worked perfectly. The location is great and next to a bunch of little restaurants, Taco stands, and the beach. I would highly recommend this place.

50th Birthday trip

We had a great time. Great location. Walking distance to everything. We had a car and had private parking. Staff was friendly. Had to request extra towels/paper/shampoo/water a few times. But a few days into it; it became more routine. Nice air conditioning. We had a guide who set us up with party at the property with mariachi. Also experienced some local beaches and cruise on a private yacht. Rafa is his name and speaks great English and knows the best bars and night clubs. Left his number here. It added to our overall experience. Highly recommend to enhance your vacaction. 52 322 247 4020

Beautiful property, great staff, great location

13 of us stayed at the property for a bachelor party. We expected to spend a lot of time at the beach, but the privacy and convenience of the pool led to us staying at the property most of the time. The area is touristy, but less gringo than up the coast. Great food is all around. I highly recommend staying at Casa Carmen

Great location & staff, kitchen needs a little work

(4 and a half stars) We loved this beautiful space as the location for our small yoga retreat. The rooms were gorgeous and we were just steps from the ocean. We loved the upper balcony and held our yoga classes there. There are little things that need to be repaired like doors that don't shut and some tile in the pool needed some repair -not a big deal for me. The only real issue we had was that the kitchen was somewhat inadequate for cooking regular meals for a group of people. Food being prepared for everyone in the retreat was an important part of our offering. We were told that the kitchen was fully equipped with all appliances. That's debatable! Some of the burners did not work and could not be fixed. There is not an oven or dishwasher. Not having a dishwasher was probably my biggest complaint. The exhaust hood was very, very loud but it worked. There are some pots and pans there but not enough mixing bowls. No large coffee pot. Some knives that were sharp. There was definitely enough plates, bowls, platters, glasses and silverware. They had a blender, microwave and small toaster oven. I think if you aren't planning on cooking too much, this is fine. If you are, then you should plan on making simple food. Then you won't be too disappointed with the kitchen. Otherwise, Casa Carmen was a great place to stay and the staff was wonderful!

Would stay there again

The house was beautiful, rooms were great. There was some confusion with the hotel Rosita on procedures. A little lack of communication but overall it was a great experience. The house is lovely, love the openness and pool. I will stay here again and would definitely rent Casa Carmen again.

For once, the house is way better than the pictures!

This house was so comfortable and inviting. Not only the bedrooms, but the common areas and pool as well. We had 18 people rent the entire place and it was perfect. The convenience of service from the hotel made staying here effortless. Will definitely return.

Location is PRIME

If you are looking for a place that is in the heart of it all, look no further! Casa de Carmen is an extension to the Hotel Rosita. One of the original hotels of Puerto Vallarta! You are within reach of restaurants, night clubs, all things touristy and the sights are endless. You cannot get a more conveniently located property. We went with a group of 20. Which enabled us to rent out the entire property. Everyone could not stop raving about how perfect it was. Not to mention this property is literally 20 steps from the beach! The XOXO corner store was perfect for drinks, water, ice and other daily needs. Starbucks kept us all caffeinated. McDonalds was a life saver for sober snacking. All within steps of the property. I could go on and on. It’s perfect. You won’t regret staying at this property!!!

Unbelievable

Casita Rosita is unbelievable. It is close to everything. Like other reviews state, it much more spacious than what the pictures show. Martha in housekeeping was awesome. And, I had a Chef Eduardo.fernandezperez.12@IG as our personal chef. He’s my go to Chef when in Puerto Vallarta. We are already planning our next trip.

Charming Casita Great Location

This house was very cool and conveniently located but all of the beds were hard as rocks and didn’t have any blankets on them. Hotel Rosita did bring us the blankets when we asked but the beds were very hard to sleep on. Other than that, awesome! Hopefully they will read this and get some softer beds :)

Excellent place for a group vacation!

Our family and friends spent five days at Casa Carmen. The common areas were wonderful and had plenty of room for all to be together or have quiet time. The pool, rooftop, and location were perfect. The bedrooms are clean, large, and comfortable. The VRBO pictures really don't capture how large the Casa is. Nine bedrooms, all with bathrooms plus two extra bathrooms. We highly recommend it!

Wonderful escape in the middle of everything.

Our group loved the privacy and relaxation this home offered when we escaped the busy hubbub of the boardwalk, romantica district, and beaches. The pool was delightful, the rooftop divine, and having a private bathroom AND bedroom for each couple was a life saver. We can't wait to go back.

PERFECT LOCATION AND STILL PRIVATE!

This was one of our best trips to Mexico of all time and we have been a lot. We had our own private space for each family, private pool and daily maid service. We needed for nothing. A one-minute walk to the beach, one minute walk to downtown, shops, restaurants, etc... I highly recommend Casa Carmen Hotel for large parties. Muy excelente!!!
