A touch of Paradise

The property was spotless and well equipped. We felt as though it was a home away from home. Our host was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this beautiful holiday home. Our holiday was perfect.

Great location

Great location, well equipped. Kids loved the basketball hoop and the park across the road. Would have liked additional heaters in the bedrooms

Black Rock Gem

Property is a great place for a stay in Bayside area. Well equipped with all the comforts of home. Walking distance to the beach with a great trail for walking or biking. Enjoyed watching the bowls across from the house. Appreciated the entertainment available on the big screen TV, too. Lovely stay!

Convenient and Clean

We had a lovely 5 days at Black Rock over Christmas. The accommodation was perfect for our family. The kitchen is great, love the gas cooking! Very clean property and close to our family which was great. Also easy to get to the city with trains a short drive away.Jan is a great host and communicateswell. well. TJan

Cool and classy cottage

Really enjoyed our stay here over New Year’s. Suited our needs perfectly: tucked away on a quiet cul de sac just up the road from Black Rock village and about a 5 minute walk from the local, dog-friendly beaches. Lovely, comfortable, spacious and clean, with an admittedly small but well-fenced back yard, that was perfect for our pups. Jan was super responsive and lovely to deal with - both when booking and on arrival - and the cottage had everything we needed. In short: perfect for a hassle-free holiday.

Quiet Bayside Cottage

Absolutely loved our stay. Private street. Beautiful park across, easy for four children and two adults. We loved it. Thank you!

Sandbelt Central Location for Golfers

Thanks for letting us stay at the Beach Cottage. Situated just a 9 iron or Pitching Wedge from Royal Melbourne Golf Club, this was an ideal base for our 3 man Sandbelt golf tour. Especially appreciated the help offered by Chester the property manager to make our stay so enjoyable. The Thai restaurant at the end of the street is a must visit. Top quality food at good value. We have recommended Beach Cottage to our golfing friends. Thanks again, Jan.

I wish we could move in permanently

We had a great time staying here. Very dog friendly, secure and high fences. Beautiful old home which we felt very comfortable in and could have permanent try moved in. Very warm welcome when we arrived. Lots of food choices near by and beaches.

Awesome House for a Family Holiday!

We spent 11 nights at the Beach Cottage and it was great for a Family. Great location, awesome cottage with all the amenities you need. Very relaxing family home feel that we have had share many memorable times. Kids loved the park across the road. We will be back to stay again.

Excellent Dog friendly accommodation

The cottage was perfectly located for me, near beaches and parks, at the end of a cul de sac so very quiet. The cottage was clean, equipped with everything that I needed and of particular importance it had a 100% dog proof garden at the back. I hope to book it next time that I visit Melbourne.

Perfectly quiet cottage near the bay

We loved our stay at the house, it had everything we needed for our stay, plenty of room to fit our visitors. The house is clean and tidy and a short walk to the beach and cafe strip. The house is at the end of a culdesac and was lovely and quiet

Excellent Value

Comfortable, clean and cosy cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Close to family in Hampton and to the beach. Great base to explore the Mornington Peninsula. We will probably stay again when visiting family. Thank you

Amazing property

Wow, an awesome house, very comfortable beds and furniture. Close to all amenities and beaches. Easy stroll to local cafes and restaurants. Great place to visit.

Excellent Property

We stayed here for 3 days whilst my daughter was married at Black Rock House, it was fantastic and as advertised, beautiful furniture and everything that was required for a fully self contained stay was there. Also very close to shops and restaurants

Great house

Just 2 comments. 3rd bedroom too crowded. Double bed should be taken out and if more beds needed another bunk could be put along other wall. Blinds or curtains on back windows would help keep in warmth in the winter. Very well equiped and comfortable house. Proximity of park great for children. My family from Perth really enjoyed their stay and will definitely stay again.

Average

No bikes as advertised. 2 unrideable bikes delivered after a phone call. We had to arrange our own bikes. Owners continually at property which we found totally out of order.Definetly not the accomodation we were expecting.
