Todo el año: la ubicación es perfecta para unas vacaciones en cualquier época del año, ya que el área tiene mucho que ofrecer y Villefranche se beneficia de un microclima. Rue Obscure, que es una de las calles más antiguas de Francia, se encuentra debajo del apartamento y no ha cambiado desde el siglo XIV. Villefranche es la ciudad más encantadora y auténtica de la Costa Azul, enclavada en las espectaculares costas de la bahía de Villefranche, a pocos minutos de Niza y Mónaco. Gorgeous View and Great Location

This apartment was a gem! The views from the balcony were amazing and the location - market and bakery downstairs - made everything super convenient. Julie was wonderful at checkin and during our stay! There are stairs - but it is worth the climb!!

Fabulous location, spotless and gorgeous view. Perfect rental.

Had a fabulous stay. Enjoyed the property very much. The check in was great, the property was so clean and the view was really spectacular. It is close to everything in the village. The bedrooms are quite hot without the AC ( we were there in July) and if you have a car, the nearby parking is expensive so prepare yourself. We would rent here again without a second thought. Thank you for a great stay.

Great location and friendly hosts!

We stayed at Julie and Tim's house in Villfranche. The apt. has a great location close - It is right on the water with many restaurants right outside the door. The area is less crowded than bigger cities like Nice but easy to get to all with the train being close by. Tim and Julie were fantastic hosts - They accommodated all our requests, check was easy and they offered to set us up a ride from the airport. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay

Have just returned from our stay and have had a great time. We were met at the taxi rank by Julie who took us to the apartment and showed us around. We were allowed to check in on arrival at 1.00pm which was an added bonus. There are lots of steps in Villefranche so it’s not somewhere to go if you have mobility issues. There are quite a few sets of steps up to the apartment but once you’re up there the view is absolutely worth it. It’s right in the middle of town in a perfect location. One of our favourite restaurants was literally straight across from the front door. The apartment is fantastic, extremely spacious, modern and very comfortable. We really couldn’t fault it. It’s quiet at night too considering the central location. The train station is on the same street as the apartment, a 5 - 10 minute walk away. From there you can go right along the French riveria and into italy. We would certainly recommend and may well return one day.

March Stay

The views and comforts of home make this property worth the climb to the 3rd/4th floor. The steps are even and have handrails. The windy and gray start to March kept me from using the beautiful terrace but I enjoyed the views from the comfortable furniture inside the apartment. The appliances were easy to use and apartment manager Julie a pleasure to work with. For a family or small group of friends, having two large bathrooms are a real bonus in an old town rental. I will miss my walks to Beaulieu and St Jean Cap Ferrat. A la prochaine!

Best View on the Riviera

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and truly had a spectacular view. The location was central to Villefranche including easy access to two restaurants on our street and close proximity to several other good restaurants. The convenience of the train station made the whole area available. Julie was helpful, met us at the train, assisted us with our luggage on the stairway and answering our questions promptly.

Beautiful property

This is a great property in a wonderful area. The beach is lovely, great restaurants and easy to get around. Less than 10 minutes on the train to Nice and 40 minutes by car to Canyon Forest which was great fun to do with teenage boys. Highly recommend.

Perfect position

We loved this perfect little gem in heart of Villefranche sur Mer. When we stepped outside the door we stepped straight in to the street where the best and cutest restaurants were. There are quite a few stairs but Julie the manager gave us a hand with the luggage so all good. We found being charged a cleaning fee separately to be unusual, we didn’t mind but it made for some last minute scrambling at the ATM. I’ve gone back on the booking forms prior to paying and can’t see any reference to the extra charges until after we’d paid. I rent Airbnb and Homeaway often in fact this year alone I’ve stayed in Oslo, Rome, San Gimignano and Paris and haven been charged for cleaning separately. Let me say it wouldn’t stop me coming back it was well worth it just unusual. The property is fabulous!

Lovely holiday

Lovely location of villa - spotlessly clean and very homely. The only reason for the two four start ratings are follows: Check-In. We were unable to access the property as the cleaner was not there when we arrived - despite being promised that she would be. Also it would be easier if the individual properties had numbers. Neither were a major problem, but made check in slightly harder than it might have been. Accuracy of Online listing - the air conditioning units in the bedrooms are yet to be installed and this was disappointing; also there is no mention of the steps from the street to the property, which again was ok for us, but could be restrictive in other cases. As an observation only, (as there were only 2 of us) the property is not really set-up for 6 as advertised, There is no where for example where 6 could eat together, and it would be extremely 'cosy' if 6 wanted to relax on the balcony. These issues are only pointed out for future reference - we still had a lovely weeks break and would happily return to both the area and the property.

Wonderful Apartment

To celebrate my big birthday this year I rented this beautiful flat with 4 other friends. I'm familiar with Villefranche and this is in the best location, just a short block up from the sea and in the center of town. The beds and bedding exceeded my expectations, the bathrooms were high quality, and the kitchen was well-furnished. And oh the balcony, that was fantastic. We'd be out there for coffee and in the evenings with wine. The flat is up 3 flights of stairs or so but given the amount of amazing food, was grateful for the tiny bit of exercise. The property manager was quickly responsive to the little questions I had. We were there during a hot spell and it was a tad warm with only one a/c in the living room, but there were fans and I understand the owner will be adding a/c units. I would absolutely stay here again, it was one of my best rentals anywhere. Thank you!!

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location

The apartment was in a perfect location in Villefranche-sur-Mer with lots of very good restaurants on the doorstep. Right in the heart of the old town with a fantastic sea view. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the boats coming in and out of the harbour. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable for our family group of six and we would all recommend to friends and family. Hope to return to Villefranche in the future and would definitely hope to stay st Artist Tresor!

Lovely apartment, tremendous location

The apartment was clean and well equipped and provided a perfect base for exploring the coast. We went to Monaco, Menton and into Itsly as well as going back to Nice. A couple of days lounging on the beach were, we felt, then deserved. Decent restaurants in Villefranche were a welcome feature.

Great location and view!

We were in Villefranche for 2 weeks and really enjoyed this apartment. The place is in the heart of the old town and has a beautiful view of the Bay of Villefranche. The apartment is very clean and the property manager (Donna) was very welcoming and accommodating.

Lovely apartment for a family of five holiday

Following a delay in Paris due to a train strike, our arrival in Villefranche-Sur-Mer and the apartment was with great relief. We were delighted to see the apartment was just as we had seen in the pictures for so long. The apartment is clean and very well maintained. Everything is so close therefore you can either relax inside or on the terrace or travel out. Would recommend a trip to the Friday markets in Italy, however just walking around the local area is just magical. Would definitely recommend, a pity it is so far from Australia, as we would certainly be back. Many thanks to both Mattie and Donna for all you help and assistance.

Super apartment for family holiday

Following a delay in Paris, to arrive at Villefranche-Sur-Mer was a relief. To our delight the apartment was just like the pictures we had viewed for so long. The apartment is clean and well maintained. The real plus it is so close to everything which means you can just relax or travel easily to other places. The information provided in the apartment and by Donna was very helpful. Would recommend going across the boarder to Italy for the Friday market. A great six days (we lost one because of train strike), for a family of five. Definitely recommend, a pity it is so far away from Australia.

Best apartment ever!

Me and my family have just spent a week in Matties apartment in Villefranche-sur-Mer and we fell in love with the place. The apartment was big enough for all six of us and since we traveled with four teenagers we really appreciated that the apartment had two bathrooms. The bedrooms are good sized and the apartment is really quite. The view from the balcony is to die for! I could easily spend my whole holiday just sitting there enjoying the view of the bay. Just outside the apartment there is a small supermarket and a bakery where you can buy your croissants and baguettes. Five minutes away you find the train station and the beach. The housekeeper Sue, was really helpful and gave us some good advice regarding practicalities and she booked a taxi for us to and from the airport. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful apartment, ideally located

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and two children have just arrived back from another fantastic holiday in Mattie's lovely apartment. We've stayed there numerous times over the years, the first time I think in 2003 which speaks for itself! Over the years there have been improvements, another bathroom, air-con etc. The location is perfect, in the centre of the village, close to shops, restaurants, beaches and public transport and Mattie is always a pleasure to deal with. We were met this time by a lovely lady called Heidi and provided with a welcoming bottle of fizz. The weather was beautiful, the view of Cap Ferrat amazing from the large terrace and we can't wait to go back. Mary and Geoff

Stunning view, ideal location

A stunning view! The location is perfect being right in the heart of the old town. We loved the local beach and very much enjoyed the coastal walks with dramatic scenery along the cliffside. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and well appointed with pretty much everything we needed to hand. We particularly enjoyed the surrounding eateries, with special mention to the ice cream bar at the bottom of the stairs which also served delicious crepes. All in all we enjoyed a delightful week in Villefranche-sur-mer.

I found myself in Villefranche in 2002 for the first time. I was enchanted from the outset and saw my apartment on the same day I arrived. I decided to sell my house in London to buy it and knew that I would have to share it from time to time in order to pay for this expensive impulse. It is the best thing I have ever done. I hope you love it as much as I do!

I realised that the location and view of the sea was priceless. The uniqueness of the location and the age of the building is something that can't be replaced - it has evolved over hundreds of years. It truly is the best location in the South of France. It still retains it's charm due to the fact there are no big hotels around and about.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Being in a village is lovely with the sea a short walk away. It has everything. Restaurants, gorgeous walks, easy transport. I love to sit on my terrace watching the activity in the bay. The beautiful morning skies as the sun rises which you can see on my website. Watching the moon go down over Cap Ferrat. This is my great pleasure and relaxation in life. Sharing this with my guests keeps it all going.
