Comfortable weekend

The stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The house was well equipped with its kitchen and laundry, had comfortable furniture, and great ocean/forest views. It is up quite a steep hill, but definitely walkable from beach/cafe/pub if you aren't carrying too many things. Would happily stay again.

Beautiful town and great location

Nice house with epic views. Looking a little tired and could do with a freshen up to justify the Summer prices. Needed a bigger clean before our arrival - fairly dirty under beds. Great stuff for kids including toys and playroom.

Lovely weekend

We had a great weekend at Wye River. The property was just what we needed. It worked very well for our group of 7. We had everything we needed. There was plenty of space, the children were thrilled with the toy room, it made their weekend. Although the birds came a close second. Check in was very easy as was communication with Dylan, who was also very helpful with check out. Thank you for a great escape.

Nice weekend stay

Comfortable living areas, warm and cozy, with well equipped kitchen. Loved our parrot visitors in the morning!

Lovely stay at the Wye!

This house is in a fabulous location and it is what I deem a typical no fuss holiday home! The one level is a bonus and the view from outside is something to experience. My only criticism is that the home needs a good 'spring' clean - inside window ledges had captured lot's of dead insects particularly in the kitchen. Door handles, light switches and skirting boards could do with some attention too. However, in saying that the bathrooms were spotless as was the laundry and bbq! Overall it is a lovely place.

Great view but needs a

The view from the side of the balcony was lovely and our son loved the visiting birds. The check in process was super easy, hosts were friendly and communication about the property was great. The house itself though needed a decent clean through out. We brought our own bedding but the mattress protectors needed washing and had hair all over them and the couch was pretty dirty.

Extended wedding weekend

Summary of house and amenities was clear and accurate from both owners and Stayz. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay with little ones fixated on the bird life interaction. Facilities were everything you may need, including toys for the kids and game selection for the oldies. Many thanks to Katie and co for the easy transition, will be back.

Happy holiday at Wye River

The property suited our needs very well. A short walk or drive to the beach, large living area, very well equipped kitchen (no dishwasher, which wasn't a problem for us). No wifi, but we managed using our mobiles which worked fine.

Awesome place, great location and amazing views from the balcony.

We especially loved all the birds that visited up on the balcony and feeding them the bird seed. The check in process was really easy. We loved our stay in Wye River

Cosy Home & Excellent Location

Short walking distance to the beach which you can actually see from the deck. The check in process was extremely smooth and the owners we’re very friendly and accomodating! It was raining quite heavily the night we were checking in and it was so nice of Katie to send us a message to see if we made it there okay! I would definitely recommend this property to everyone and can’t wait to come back in the near future!

Beautiful view and gorgeous birds!

Inviting and fresh on arrival. A spacious living area and kitchen - room to relax indoors and outdoors. Tasteful decor and an excellent fireplace! It was cosy in winter and it would be wonderful in summer too.

week at wye

We had a lovely relaxed week at wye river staying at the house. There was a nice patch of grass for cricket playing and we enjoyed the fireplace for the not so warm summer nights. The view is beautiful and only being about halfway up the hill the walk to the beach was manageable. Would love to go back.

Cozy, family house, with everything you need for a getaway

Loved the decking, the trees surrounding it. Enjoyed visits fron the birds. Good distant view of the surf. Comfortable beds. Warm inviting interior, felt like a second home after only a few hours!
