Magnífica casa flotante de 70 'con terraza para fiestas en la azotea a poca distancia de DT Knox

¿Cansado de quedarse en la misma habitación vieja y aburrida? Nosotros también, así que decidimos ser dueños de nuestra propia casa flotante en el río Tennessee, donde podíamos caminar a casi todo. La "locura de la luz de la luna" está atracada en la pacífica Volunteer Landing Marina en Knoxville. El puerto deportivo está a pasos del galardonado restaurante de carnes "Ruth’s Chris" y de Calhoun’s On the River. Puedes caminar tanto a Neyland Greenway, James White Greenway, Neyland Stadium, Thompson-Boling arena, la Universidad de Tennessee y la vibrante Market Street en el centro de Knoxville. Podemos acomodar a 6 personas en camas y muchas más si quieres ser creativo. Tenemos 2 dormitorios, una cama king size en la habitación principal y una cama Full en los cuartos de la tripulación y un sofá cama queen size, junto con 2 baños. Contamos con 3 cubiertas, una fuera de la proa, una fuera de la popa (ideal para el café de la mañana) y un 70 'PARTY DECK en el techo. La terraza de la fiesta tiene abundantes asientos junto con 2 televisores de pantalla plana de alta definición y una parrilla de gas y fogata de gas. El maestro también tiene una pantalla plana Vizio UHD de 40 'con Smartcast. El salón también tiene una pantalla plana UHD de 50 '. Nuestro barco viene completamente equipado con sábanas y toallas limpias. La cocina también viene completamente equipada con platos, utensilios y pequeños electrodomésticos, junto con Internet de alta velocidad. Conocerás a muchas personas muy agradables que residen en el puerto deportivo a tiempo completo. Además, tenemos un carrito de golf EZGO y 2 kayaks y 2 bicicletas de crucero de playa que están disponibles para su uso en nuestro barco. Lo sentimos, pero la casa flotante no sale del puerto deportivo debido a la corriente del río. También tenemos un Gerente de Marina a tiempo completo en el sitio si necesita algo o tiene alguna pregunta con nuestros barcos. Queremos que su estadía con nosotros sea memorable y haremos todo lo posible para que quiera regresar.

We loved our stay! The top party deck was amazing to sit out on at night and watch the games!!! Enjoyed being able to walk along the river and so close to downtown yet quiet and peaceful! House is as described and was squeaky clean! We will stay here again when we travel to Knoxville!!

It was like walking into someone's home, so welcoming. You will want for NOTHING. Everything is there and all you need food and drink. Fonz (the host) was so delightful to work with and was very communicative. Decor was so fun if you are music lover. Drums for coffee tables, decor was so cute. REALLY enjoyed out stay and loved the golf cart to be able to get around. I would love to be there on a game day, bet it is a lot of fun. Thanks Fonz for sharing your beautiful boat with us.R

Great location and beautiful houseboat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The houseboat is beautiful with lots of amenities. The owner was very easy to work with and provided lots of valuable information on the property in general, houseboat specifically, and attractions in the area. We loved sitting out on the balcony area watching boats, barges, and all kinds of wildlife float by. The check in process is a little confusing, but that's more because of the way the area is set up. Once you figure that out, it's super easy to get around. A couple of restaurants are within easy walking distance too. Having access to a golf cart made unloading/loading very easy. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area. It's truly the most unique vacation rental I've ever visited and would love to return!

This is a great retreat if you are looking for a little relaxing time. We enjoyed the covered top deck the most, watching boat traffic and the Greenway joggers and bikers. The boat is very well furnished, even with items you may have forgotten to bring along. Very thoughtful owners have made this a pleasant adventure. My only advice for potential renters is to understand this is a boat at a marina which requires a little more agility than a hotel. Steve C.

A unique place to stay!! Great Decor inside and as many others have noted, the party deck up top was fantastic. We did have an issue with the head that rendered it useless for the first day but the host bought us dinner and drinks to make up for it. It was an issue with the Marina and not the owner. Check it out as an alternate to a hotel in downtown. It was fun.

Life on a HouseBoat

I traveled to Knoxville with my 25 year old son who was competing in Syndicate Crown Coliseum just a short walk away. Although we spent most of our time at the event we enjoyed mornings having breakfast on the back deck of the boat and spent our evenings enjoying the upper deck! The boat was very clean and the music/instrument themed furniture and decorations were a nice touch. We really appreciated how well stocked the boat was with everyday items such as toiletries, coffee and other kitchen essentials. The host was very responsive and accommodating as I did struggle a bit with the newly installed smart panel entry system the first day. We found all the marina folks to be very friendly! This location was great in that we could easily walk to the nearby attractions located on Gay Street and at Market Square.

Guys Weekend

The houseboat provided a unique place to stay for a guys weekend in Knoxville. The houseboat was very clean and well stocked in case you forgot anything. Use of the golf cart is a definite plus for loading and unloading cars from the parking area.

Big Ears Retreat

This worked well for us as a group of 4. Boat quarters are a bit cramped for sleeping but sprawling for hanging. We spent less time on the boat then we thought we might have because we were out at concerts/ shows most of the day. This would be a great spot for a single family who has a plan to cook rather than eat out and wants to be able to walk into town. The upsides were the stocked kitchen, ample television screens, and relative cleanliness. The downsides were that the boat is docked under a very functional hood which makes it a little dark in living room and kitchen, but great on the porches. The hosts were amazing and everything we could've asked for! Thank you to Fonz and the marina crew including the very friendly James!

Nice Boat

The actual boat was nice, and the upper deck is great! Owner was very quick to respond. The surrounding environment could be better. There was an odd smell outside that got into the living room area and several other boats were dumping garbage into the water. One didn't see my daughter and splashed her. We decided to cut our stay short by a night.

On the river

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It was very convenient to the Riverwalk and a variety of local restaurants. I had to communicate with the owner about one thing and he was immediately available and very patient.

Fabulous choice for a mini vacay!

I did quite a bit of research to find a very unique location for a mini vacay. And boy Fonz's houseboat was spot on. I had looked for a spot on the water not too far from home (3 hours) since traveling with children. His boat is immaculate and furnished very cool and extremely comfortable, including the beds and bedding. Fonz has thought of everything for his guests. We did not want for anything. Our clan took advantage of all sitting areas. Bow of the boat was a good area for people watching, having cocktails and kids coloring at the large table. The stern was perfect for watching wildlife and fishing and/or sunbathing. And yet another area to hang. The rooftop deck was amazing. Soooooo large and perfect for catching a breeze and family dinners by the bbq. Golf cart was a godsend. Took it to walk my dog for potty walks and to Calhouns for dinner one evening. There is a trolley at the Marina which is free and we spent an afternoon in downtown Knoxville getting off and on the trolley. Found a fabulous restaurant for lunch after getting a bit lost.......The French Market Creperie. Delish and desserts to die for. One day we rented a catamaran and had a blast. And I must mention how clean the city of Knoxville is and how kind the locals were. We plan on coming back!

Perfect Getaway for Small Group

Stayed as a group of three to relax on the river and explore Knoxville for memorial day weekend. The boat had plenty of room for us and could have even accomodated 1 or 2 more. All of the essentials were on board and instructions for bathrooms and appliances were clear. The A/C units worked surprisingly well and cooled the rooms quickly. The top deck is the best part as there is tons of space to grill, lounge, and even play cornhole. The marina is super quiet and is perfectly situated right next to a trail for running or biking. It's also walkable to all areas downtown in less than 30 minutes. We also made us of the kayaks and paddled the river and enjoyed a scenic view.

Unforgettable Stay on Moonlight Madness

We recently hosted a small graduation celebration on the houseboat, and it was perfect! The boat is beautifully maintained and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. Being right on the river added a unique and special touch which everyone enjoyed. The living spaces were clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making us feel right at home. The outdoor deck provided stunning views and was the ideal spot for our gathering. Fonz was a fantastic host – super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable experience!!!

Weekend Getaway

We met friends for the weekend and chose Moonlight Madness because it looked so charming. We were right! It’s a fun houseboat, there’s plenty of room to play cards or to just sit and enjoy the view. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. There are several coolers, extra towels, toiletries, etc. In case you forget it, Moonlight Madness has it! Fonz is a great host, I had some questions about check in and he was very quick to respond. Pro Tip: Upon arriving, park your car but leave your luggage. Walk down to the boat to retrieve your parking pass and the golf cart. Drive it up to your car and ride your luggage down.

Cool place

Perfect place for us. We had four. Two adults, two teens. Space for everyone. And a dog. Worked out great for us. The golf cart was very helpful and appreciated to get things from the parking lot. Full kitchen and plenty of extra linen. Right on the river but the boat barely moved, if you’re worried about that. Fonz was very responsive when we had a question. Would highly recommend.

Fun Weekend in Knox!

Best Houseboat Ever

Rented this beauty for my daughter’s birthday. We could have stayed anywhere but I wanted something different since it was my daughter’s birthday. This houseboat was the perfect solution. It’s spacious, had plenty of amenities, the heaters worked great (yes it was 30 degrees at night), the host is so accommodating and responsive. Being on the river is peaceful, relaxing and so quiet. We loved every minute of it and didn’t want to leave. The golf cart definitely came in handy for my elderly mother as the boat is located a ways from the parking lot. The decor is music themed and charming. The owner even left some flowers and a birthday card for my daughter. I highly recommend this as a place to stay but I probably shouldn’t because it’s already booked the next time we are coming to town. So glad we decided to try something new! Thanks Fonz for the quick replies and being such an accommodating host.

Our daughter played soccer for the University of Tennessee. We make several trips out to cheer on the Volunteers. We love the Knoxville area and the Volunteer Landing Marina. This location is absolutely perfect. We can walk to everything from Downtown to Neyland stadium. Not to mention Ruths Crists Steakhouse, which is steps from our boat.

We wanted something other than a boring hotel room or a small stuffy condo. The boat is awesome with the newly renovated interior and huge party decks. We can kayak off the back of the boat and paddle to Calhoun's on the river. Houseboat living is unique and charming. This boat has never been smoked on or in.
