Bienvenido a Hogan dicha @ Yarrawonga, que se encuentra aproximadamente a 500 metros de la línea de costa en la tranquilidad de Woodlands Estate, de 5 kilometros fuera de la ciudad.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay. The host had excellent communication from the beginning, making everything very smooth and easy to organise. The check-in and check-out process was simple and hassle-free, which we really appreciated.The place itself was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was comfortable, well set up, and had plenty of space. The outdoor area was great for kids to run around and enjoy activities, while the inside was spacious and cosy for relaxing together.

Location was great, hosts were good and easy to communicate with. Maybe we should have planned ahead and brought our own but the place was just missing a few things we could have used. Things such as sugar, extra toilet paper ( 2 half rolls for 8 people is not enough), maybe liquid soap. Also a smart tv but like I said, nice place, good location.

Fantastic place for a family to stay!

We had such a great time staying here. Pet friendly, our dog came on his first holiday and was safe and sound here. So close to the lake and only a short trip into town. The house as so clean and had all the facilities we needed. The owner provided us with comprehensive information to assist us navigate the house and advice on what we could do in the local area. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Great short stay in Yarrawonga

Shaun's property was simple and no fuss, clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for 4 adults and would easily accomdate more. His communication was outstanding. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect getaway!

Neat, clean and spacious pet friendly property, with all the necessary amenities required for a comfortable stay. Within close proximity of the lake and a short drive from the main shopping and restaurant precinct. Property manager provided prompt and clear communication and easy to follow instructions. We felt very welcome and look forward to coming back.

i have stayed at this place before and will stay there again unfortunately this time my family could not stay this time and had to cancel booking with very late notice due to seriously ill family member and owner was very understanding and gave full refund .this place is clean and in a great location in this price range you will not find better with plenty of parking for cars and boats love the remote gates will be back

Hogan’s Bliss

This property was perfect for our group and the security behind locked gates for our 2 boats and 3 cars was perfect, as was the close location to the launching ramp. The layout of the house was extremely good, with the exception of the 3rd bedroom which could have offered a bit more in the way of furniture and amenities. I can’t speak more highly of the interaction between Shaun and ourselves, and apart from a few small things, I can highly recommend this place.

Golfing Adventure

Shaun was a great host.He was very informative and thoughtful. The place was absolutely perfect for us. Our fur babies loved the fully fenced yard to run around in. The bird life was awesome. A little family of Willy wagtails kept us entertained. The location was awesome in regards to access to the golf courses we wanted to play and very handy to Lake Mulwala and Yarrawonga. The bed and lounges were very comfy and the property had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back

This is a good property let down by poor communication and issues that could be easily fixed but the property owners are choosing not to. The first is the lack of wi-fi. They say "we aren't there that often, we don't find it an issue", which means they don't care about it for their guests.The second is I asked about any issues prior to booking and was told nothing, yet as soon as full payment was made, their property sheet arrives advising of an issue with 3 of the 5 curtains that run the full length of the house, including one curtain that has to stay UP the entire time, exposing you to the public when the house is lit. I would not have booked the house had I known as I value my privacy. I was well past the refund date. I feel ripped off.The third issue is that the property is not very clean. There is black mould in both shower recesses, and in the cupboards where the spare toilet paper is kept, the shelves are caked in dust. People are then wiping their privates with this dusty toilet paper.The fourth issue is the lack of effort to make the house safe - the only smoke detector is in the master, and it's hanging by a cable.The fifth issue is no set top box has been added to the TV in the bedroom, so it only displays about 3 channels. Another vibe of owners not wanting to spend money.I also resent having to bring my own bedding. I can pay less in a 5-star CBD hotel and arrive to fresh sheets and feel more welcome. Great potential ruined. No owner replies.

Sorry you feel disappointed with aspects of your stay Katherine but we would like to address these. Communication - we always responded except for the final message on the day you checked out. Wifi - there’s no mention of wifi in the online description or there would be a password listed. This has not been an issue with previous guests - an opportunity to have a tech free holiday! You didn’t ask about any issues prior - asked about any restrictions which we assumed was for your dog to stay. We have discovered recently that some curtain mechanisms are playing up but as we do not live in Yarrawonga (also mentioned in the house description) we have not had a chance to get them fixed as yet but will be doing so when we are able to. It is only one curtain that could not be lowered - facing a quiet side street with a full height fence blocking any view of the house, not exposing anyone to the public. Black mould - definitely not! Dusty shelves - maybe. This has been checked since. Smoke detectors - there are 3 in the house all connected to mains power. The one in the main bedroom was loose from the ceiling but still in full working order. This has been addressed. TV in the bedroom - it is an older model and doesn’t have all the digital channels. Apologies if this affected your stay. And yes you may be able to stay in a CBD hotel for a similar price - but your dog would not be able to! An advantage of staying at our place so dogs can be with their owners on holiday.

We may not be regarded as locals - that takes 20+ years of living here!!! - but we have been coming to holiday in Yarrawonga for around 40 years. We are based in Melbourne but try to get to sunny Yarrawonga as much as we can - it really is our second home. Our kids have learned to ski here and still love coming up here as well. Come and see why we love it so much!

Hogans Bliss @ Yarrawonga - just a 5 min drive from the centre out of town & 600m to the water. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large open plan living area including a full kitchen and 2 under cover outdoor living areas on a large fully fenced & gated block. It is ideal for a family holiday so close to the water with the Black Bull golf course and new Sebel precinct literally just around the corner. If you like to water ski, fish, play golf or visit local wineries......come and stay at our place. It'll be like your home away from home!

Walk 5 minutes down the road to the water - see the mighty Murray River flowing through Lake Mulwala.
Out of the hustle & bustle of town during busy times - but only a 5 minute drive to get there to all the shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets.
Fully fenced yard & driveway......and pet friendly. Safe for your puppies to play in the yard!
If you love golf......this is the place to base yourself!! Black Bull is almost over the back fence, 45 holes of Yarrawonga GC over the bridge just 10 minutes away and other golf courses like Cobram-Barooga, Tocumwal, Corowa and Howlong all within a 45 minute drive.
Fishing.......the Murray Cod will be jumping onto your hooks just for the fun of it!!
Fantastic long straight driveway - ideal for boats, trailers and even caravans if required.
Wineries by the bucket load....starting with Squires as the closest one about 10-15 minutes away. And plenty more such as Campbells, Pfeiffers, All Saints and more in the Rutherglen area. Drop into the Bundalong Tavern for a beer on the way through!
If you come up during winter, get down to watch the mighty Yarrawonga Pigeons Football & Netball Club. Or drive over the bridge and watch the Mulwala Lions instead......maybe even watch both teams!!
No matter what time of the year you decide to come, there is always plenty to see & do in Yarrawonga & surrounds.
