La cabaña es de construcción de la más alta calidad, con muebles y comodidades para combinar. Completamente renovado en octubre de 2013. Un gran lugar para reunirse con familiares o amigos. Amplio y exuberante patio privado, sombreaba mis cocoteros y almendros. Cenador de 14'x 18 'alberga parrilla de carbón y mesas. Hamacas, internet inalámbrico, teléfono celular local provisto para su estadía. Cajas fuertes, secadores de cabello, licuadoras y muelles para ipad en unidades. El generador de respaldo garantiza que la fuente de alimentación sea continua. Sillas de playa y refrigeradores siempre.

La cabaña es encantadora y serena, con amplio espacio. La cabaña cuenta con un área de comedor, sala de estar, cocina, baño, un ventilador de techo en cada habitación y una habitación con aire acondicionado y una cómoda cama de matrimonio.

La decoración tropical y los suelos de baldosas se suman al encanto de las cabañas. Un servicio de limpieza profesional limpia cada cabaña cada tres o cuatro días.

The Cottage was very nice, clean and comfortable. It is very well equipped and includes WIFI which enabled us to watch TV. It is in a good location in Cane Garden Bay, right across from the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cottage, authentic location

Very clean and well equipped cottage (we stayed in #3) for a long weekend in Tortola. A small grocery store conveniently located just down the road and the beach is directly across the street. Cottage had everything we needed including beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. This would be a perfect place for two or three couples or small families vacationing together. A cozy compound!

Cottages very good… the island no longer a welcome experience..

Property wonderful. Surrounding community badly neglected. Multistoried tourist hotel ruins atmosphere. Now tha Roadtown is a cruise ship passenger destination over a dozen open buses with amplified guides regularly smother CG Bay enjoying tasteless tourist sites in village for a 2 hr midday visit. 2/3rds of formerly pristine perfect beach now covered with stacked loungers. Beach bars with subwoofers seem restricted NE end - a blessing for the shrinking peaceful area remains to SW. Evenings were given to local speed bump grand prix, mobile packed high volume boom box pickups and high powered moped absent mufflers made quiet evenings rare at the cottages. No evidence of local interest traffic control. The cottages, though smaller than ads suggested, were fine for our 2 week stay, close enough to the least populated and noisy part of the beach for our daily picnics under the last 2 remaining sea grape trees. We were lucky enough to have no occupants next door for a week. Even with wonderfully pleasant new neighbors, careful as we all were, privacy was gone - overtones of conversations on the porches quite clear, less so indoors. The staff were fun and very helpful. That cannot be said for the Island and airport staff. Lettmore was our very worst experience coming - Very rare was there someone available truly interested in hospitality or helping visitors. Disinterest to veiled hostility much more common. We found the atmosphere had deteriorated greatly in the 50 years we have occasionally visited the island. Doubt we will return again…. The cottages were a wonderful refuge! Thank God

Absolutely perfect! I was looking for a cottage, solitude, & close to the beach. I found it!

The cottage was exactly what I was looking for. It is a very short walk to the beach which I did most mornings with my coffee in hand to enjoy the sunrise and watch the sand crabs emerge from their homes. The early morning solitude was peaceful and beautiful. I only had a few things that needed to be remedied and they took care of it immediately. My beach chair they had was broken and the grill was missing. They brought me a brand new chair and grill. Thank you for being so accommodating. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. Short walk to grocery store and restaurants. The street out front is a bit busy which only added to my enjoyment. This is island life. This was my first land vacation on Tortola, typically I am sailing I would definitely stay here again. Wonderful host wonderful cottage. Thank you so much!

Just ok....online reviews don't match our experience

Little contact with property manager, cistern was not checked prior to check in & ran out of water, majority of property is screened in so extremely buggy, all stovetop burners/knobs do not work so were afraid to use more then 1 burner, very noisey with work cars/trucks in driveway/parking area directly outside of cottage. Location in Cane is good. Short walk to beaches & restaurants as well as small grocery store.

Week in paradise!

The cottage was exactly as it was listed. A very short walk across the yard and street to the beach at Cane Garden Bay. A few great restaurants and bars are just down the beach. The rain on the metal roof was perfect for the evening showers. The bedroom was cool and comfortable good sleeping. Great location Sharlene was so good to work with, made the whole process easy and convenient! I would book here again

Wow!

What a charming place. Everything was exactly as described. Very quiet. Except for the chickens on the island. But hey. That’s part of the experience. Be sure to use bug spray. Lots of mosquitos. Other than that a wonderful visit.

Lovely Cottage by the Beach

My husband and I loved this cute little cottage by the beach. It was clean, comfortable, and just the right amount of space for two people. The beach and nightlife were steps away so we didn’t have to take taxis unless we were going to Road Town. Sharlene was so helpful and gave us some good suggestions for how to get around and where to eat. Highly recommend!

Cane garden bay cottage

Cute clean cottage near the beach! Very colorful decor and had all that we needed . They provided cooler, beach chairs and umbrella. The pictures make the units look larger than they are and the beach depicted wasn’t exactly what it looked like ( maybe it was pre hurricane Irma) Nice to have plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from within walking distance. Only downsides were the air conditioning was only in the bedroom and it was warm with little breeze when we were there. Also there are free roaming chickens on the property that like to crow during the night! There is also a cemetery right across the street before you get to the beach . Not really what I was expecting. Overall it was a nice place for the price.

Great Getaway Spot in CGB

I have been visiting the BVI for over 40 years, and have spent a lot of time there on sailboats and on land. Cane Garden bay is my favorite community on Tortola. Everyone is so friendly and relaxed, and you feel as though you are among friends instantly. There is a decidedly funky and comfortable vibe there and the CGB Cottages fit right in. The cottage is right across the street from the beach, and is set well back from the road on an expansive lawn framed with palms. The appointments are quite comfortable, and not fussy or extravagant, which is perfect for beach life - you're not afraid to track a little sand in at the end of the day. There's a perfectly adequate kitchen which we used to cook some lovely dinners - we ate at home mostly and it was very enjoyable. The caretakers were very attentive and sweet. My last BVI trip was a few months before Irma, and I had heard some very sad stories about the devastation from numerous friends who live on Tortola. I was so happy to see how the BVI communities have come together to rebuild and carry on. The island infrastructure was pretty much completely back in working order, food stores and services were all fully up and running, and there were several restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. All in all I'd say it was exactly what we were looking for, and I will definitely be back for my next land-based trip to the BVI!

A wonderful experience! The cottage is charming, clean, well-equipped, and the service attentive.

In the context of Tortola, this can’t be beat. Cottage is super-charming, newly renovated since Irma, immaculately clean and equipped with all one needs for a beach get-away. Kitchen facilities are more than adequate, appliances work well, bedroom has a/c for those who need it. Ceiling fans throughout. Water heater works well. Lighted, covered outdoor grilling facility, as well as beach chairs, beach towels and cooler. Can’t say enough about the attentive service. When the microwave stopped, Patty Ann had us a new one in a couple of hours! And all literally just steps from Cane Garden Beach, certainly among the most beautiful on Tortola. The photos don’t convey just how close you are to the water. Of course, this is the tropics, and so little critters do come calling. We had a slight issue with ants, but that’s par for the course, and certainly not enough to dampen our enthusiasm. We’d certainly come back!

Perfect place to stay in Cane Garden Bay!

Great location and comfortable accommodations in Cane Garden Bay. Across the street from the legendary beach and easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and grocery store. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommended for those looking to alternative to hotels in a prime BVI location.

Great location next to the beach. Clean and quiet property.

My wife and I had a great stay in cottage 3. The proximity to the beach is great. The unit was clean and suited our needs nicely. We will definitely consider staying here again. I do have a few minor things that I will mention for improvements. The individual jets in the shower head were somewhat clogged so the spray directions and water pressures were random. I think this is due to residue buildup from the water passing through the jets. A product like CLR will break down the residue and make the shower head like new. It would be nice if there was a place outside the cottage to spray off the sand or dirt from our belongings. I realize that there was a bucket of water outside but a spray hose would keep most people from bringing sandy stuff into the shower.

This property was initially purchased and developed by an uncle and eleven other 'cockeyed optimists' from Alberta, Canada, in 1979. My father bought out eight of these twelve in 1990 and upgraded the property. I got involved soon after and have been managing the property for about 20 years.

The Cottages are Gold Seal Certified by the Government of the British Virgin Islands and can be used as accommodations for COVID 19 quarantine.

We are located at the quiet end of Cane Garden Bay, literally steps from the beach and a short level walk to everything you need.

Our property is 1.75 acres and is unique in that we have a large, lush private yard shaded by coconut palms and almond trees. There are hammocks to relax in and high-speed wireless for your convenience.

There is a tiny, family-run bar and general store right next door. Rental cars are available locally.


With four rental units (see VRBO Listing #'s 357970, 914871, and 914875 for details on the other three units) and a large private yard, we are an excellent place for family vacations, weddings, and business meetings.
