The Entire process from booking to check in with Jane at Woody Nook was amazing.The property is very tranquil and the old mud brick house is very welcoming.Jane could not have done enough for us and even went as far as getting our group a needle and thread at short notice to restitch a button for a wedding we were attending.The only downside of the property is that it could do with some modern comfortable beds and some plush towels.All in all a great stay.

We had a lovely winter getaway at Woody Nook House, feels very private away from hustle and bustle. The location is super handy to get to other South West attractions and the winery and Nookery Cafe were amazing. Jane the host is an absolute delight and all the staff were super lovely and accommodating.

We loved our long weekend at Woody Nook Winery. The location amongst the vineyards was beautiful, so peaceful and private, while still being an easy walk to the café and cellar door. The house was spacious, cosy and had everything we needed. We especially loved having a fireplace. Jane was a wonderful host — so friendly and helpful, and always available if we needed anything. The included breakfast was amazing, and having lunch and wine tastings at the winery when we arrived was a great way to start our stay. Each day the café staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. We really loved the character and warmth of this older estate. It has such a welcoming, traditional feel that made our stay feel extra special. The location was the perfect base for exploring the Margaret River region. Cowaramup town with its quaint little shops and stalls to explore, and an easy drive to local galleries, wineries, restaurants, the ocean and the national parks. We had an amazing weekend and look forward to returning soon

What a wonderful find! A beautiful, very comfortable mud brick house just a short stroll from the cellar door. Full kitchen, laundry facilities, fire place, upstairs deck with rocking chairs! Being the only accommodation on site made it extra special! The continental breakfast included both mornings was exceptional!!! We each received a beautiful platter of cheese, cold cuts, fruit, jam and sourdough toast!! One between two would have even been enough!! Jane was so welcoming and friendly as was everyone who served us. And the Fathers Day lunch was such a treat! Everything was cooked to absolute perfection! And the wines!!! Just brilliant!! We are so happy we chose to stay here over the Fathers Day weekend!

Very happy with our stay! Jane was amazing and helped us get settled in. The breakfast is unreal and we are looking forward to staying here again. The location is within 20 minutes of everything and the pricing great is value for what you get. Can't thank Jane and the staff enough for the stay!

Relaxed and rested

Thankyou Jane for our stay in the house. It was cosy and we loved being nestled in amongst the bush land. A great location and enjoyed the wood fire.

Great location and friendly staff

Everything was as represented. Cottage had everything we required and bonus breakfast daily at the Nookery, served by wonderfully friendly and helpful staff.

Cute and very handy cottage

Three nights at Woody Nook cottage, right next to the winery cellar door, but separated by bush and gardens. Fantastic place to stay. Cottage was a bit gloomy due to dark mud brick and weak lighting, but otherwise a lovely memorable stay. Would definitely go there again.

Our stay was fabulous and will definitely try to stay here again in the future. The house is very rustic and peaceful and the continental breakfast was amazing (sad I didn't get a photo!) All the staff at the cafe, wine tasting and Jane were wonderful and made our stay easy. One issue only which was with the hardness of the double bed, which as Jane said, some say too hard, some say too soft, difficult to please everyone...which is true. Overall, great stay! Thanks

Come for the wine, stay for the serenity

A wonderfully quirky house dangerously close to Woody Nook cellar door! Perfect for a group or family. The house was spotless and welcoming. The garden and surrounding vineyard were teeming with wildlife; rabbits, kangaroos, birds and frogs. A real delight!

What a find

This is a great house for families right in the golden triangle of wilyabrup and excellent wineries. The accommodation is so sweet and is perfect for summer and winter. We loved sitting on the back porch with a glass of wine and had friendly visits from the chickens. The bonus for this stay is the breakfast. It was outstanding. Thank you Jane and staff for the amazing hospitality

Rustic Gem

Just a brief 2 night stay for my friends and I. The host and the staff at Woody Nook were accommodating, welcoming and every request asked by them was done. The accommodation is comfy and rustic, plenty of good quality wood was supplied for the fire and plenty of hot water! You can tell this place is old and she would have some stories to tell! Some of the beds and furniture are worn, but not broken, we had a very comfortable 3 days/2 nights and would definitely stay here again.
