Beautiful accommodation in a gorgeous bush setting. Have stayed here annually over the past few years. Very family friendly accommodation in a peaceful setting. Our kids have loved bringing walkie talkies and going on an adventure in the bush, then coming 'home' to a cosy fire.

Bruna and John’s retreat was warm, comfortable and welcoming. We loved the peaceful location and waking up to the birds in the morning. The kids enjoyed exploring the creek and coming back to a toasty fire.

We had a wonderful time at Bruna John’s place. I highly recommend it. It was quiet, comfortable, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Plus, all the provided accessories were high quality.

The home was warm on arrival, very comfortably furnished. We found everything we needed for a cosy stay. The property is in a lovely quiet spot, right in the tree tops! Definitely recommend, especially if you want to be close to bush walks.

A beautiful place to stay

We greatly enjoyed this house in the woods. The house was beautiful, and with a large and well stocked kitchen. We ate our meals on the back porch overlooking the woods. We would stay here again.

Nature living at its best!

We stayed in five holiday houses in our time in Tasmania and this was by far the best. Such beautiful views, amazing kitchen and bathroom, everything we needed. Absolutely loved waking up here each day, thoroughly recommend!

Mount Roland Retreat is such a special place, we loved it from the first moment we stepped in! Idyllic location right in the middle of the forest with an incredible view and total peace and quiet. Tastefully furnished, super clean and well-maintained – fresh bread waiting on arrival included. The little one loved her playroom, the bathtub with a view was amazing, and we slept wonderfully. Nothing was missing, perfect base for the Cradle Region and surroundings of Sheffield. One of the best on the island, we would love to come back!
