Bienvenido a Bella Bulimba
Un hogar único del estilo de Queensland con una decoración industrial condimentada de la vendimia. Bella se encuentra a pocos pasos de Oxford Street y el pueblo que es Bulimba. Un hogar cómodo y acogedor, que te encantará.
Bella es de 12 kilómetros (12 minutos en coche) del aeropuerto de Brisbane y 4. 8 kilómetros (5 a 10 minutos en coche) a la ciudad de Brisbane. Esta propiedad tiene un segundo baño y una estación de lavado para mayor comodidad. El dormitorio principal tiene su propio aire acondicionado reverso ciclo y también hay unidad de gran ubicada en el salón / comedor con ventiladores en todo ..
Somos mascotas, sin embargo las mascotas necesitan ser aprobados por el propietario en la reserva inicial, para garantizar su felicidad y seguridad.

Long - Short term stay
We were in the process of moving states and waiting for a property to settle. Our initial stay was extended by a week the another couple of nights. Tracey was helpful as a host and very accommodating.
The property was very well presented and dog friendly. The deck and back yard were an ideal spot for an afternoon G&T. Close to shops and great restaurants along with public transport.
We recommend the spot highly.

Our home away from home!
Making the big move back to NZ is huge! Finding this little beautiful Gem of a holiday house for 7 days is a blessing to us, having to move out of rental, our home for 15 years!
We had a fantastic group of boys from Overseas Packers & Shippers take over our house for 3 days packing up all of our stuff. (My goodness, so.....much stuff!!!!)
Thank you so much Tracey Hurn for allowing us to stay in your beautiful holiday home! So relaxing to come back too after the many trips back & fro to our house in Algester.
Most of all we could have our fur baby Buddy with us till he gets picked up by his carer to go join our cat. They will both be taken to meet their flight on Tuesday.
Monday 13th January 2020, we say goodbye to this beautiful country, Brisbane Australia, Our home for 23 years!

A Great Stay at Bella Bulimba
For any family wishing to have a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable stay in Brisbane this home is the perfect fit. We had two rooms to sleep couples, a further room with two single beds and a study in which a cot was provided. We took our pooch with us ( 12 yo cocker spaniel ) and had no issues. The yard was secure and had a children's cubby house in which our Brisbane-based grandchildren had fun. Features that made the stay that much nicer were a well fitted kitchen with every sort of utensil you might want to use on a holiday. There was a coffee machine, simple to use and we had two packs of pods on arrival. The second loo made things easier with a number of people and the shower / bath was good in that my wife has multiple sclerosis and stepping into a bath is sometimes an issue. The setup in Bulimba meant this was not a problem here as it was an easy step both into and out of the bath. It was highlighted before our arrival the air-conditioning in the home, which was one in the main living area and one in the main bedroom. We had some hot days in Brisbane ( for Sydneysiders ) and found the a/c more than adequate, using a combination of the ceiling fans and a/c. The internet connections and also Netflix etc worked perfectly for when you had done your daily tripping and simply wanted to relax at the end of the day. The laundry was downstairs; both washer and drier worked fine and there was a clothesline handy to the washer - all round no real issues for the domestic dimensions of a holiday. The photo on the site highlights a generous deck with BBQ at the end and this was also used often. It was also quite nice to sit out in the evening breeze, which was present most evenings. In terms of location it was a quick and easy drive into the city, but better is to travel from the Bulimba ferry terminal which can take you either into the city / south bank and a range of other stops and also directly across the river if that was needed. We had Tracey's number should this have been required, but it wasn't. She did call to confirm we had all settled with no issues, which was appreciated and we also had a gift of chocolates and a lovely Christmas note on arrival. All up, a great stay, had all of the facilities needed in the home and there were no surprises - many thanks again to Tracey and Richard.

Great house in a great location. Great for the dogs.
Clean well stocked house, had everything we needed. Lovely old Queenslander. Close to three restaurant precincts that are a short walk away. Bulimba would have to rate as one of the most dog friendly places we have stayed at. Owner Tracey was very helpful and would highly recommend.

Amazing stay!
We had such a lovely stay in Bulimba. The property was in such an amazing location with easy access to local restaurants, cafes and transport.
The house was so well looked after and we had all we needed, even with two little children. We were all very comfortable and Tracey was great for any questions or queries.
Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The property had everything we needed, great location, easy walk to cafes, shops and ferry.
All the little details were taken care of, very comfortable and actually bigger than we expected. The neighbours all really quiet, even though on a busy road, it was quiet at night. An easy walk to Oxford St for cafes, restaurants and shopping. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived.

Great location
Our family used this as our home in Brisbane for 4 days. There was plenty of room for our family of four. Kids loved the playset in the backyard to use in between everything we did. Easy walk to restaurants, groceries and shops on Oxford St. Would definitely stay in this house again if we visit Brisbane again.

Brilliant house in ideal location
We loved our time at the Bella! The house had everything we wanted in a classic Queensland style & the kids had a great time in the cubby. Having Oxford St just around the corner, with the ferry terminal & 2 excellent playgrounds a short walk away made the location perfect for us. We hope to stay there again one day.

When we work away from home, the most important thing during that time is a relaxing house with beautiful ambience. Bella Bullimba fitted the bill exactly. Close to great restaurants and cafes and 15 minutes from the EKKA - perfect!

Excellent Property
Met by Tracey on arrival who was there ensuring we were able to stop our one year old grand son from getting access to the rear stairs. Very close to the local shops and about a one kilometre walk to the Rivercat Ferry. Some road noise but to expected in an Queenslander in an inner city location, not far from the cafes, cinema and supermarket.

Great house in a perfect location !
Bella Bulimba is a great house, very well decorated. We really enjoyed the deck and our son loved the wooden house in the garden. The location could not be better, just one minute walk to James Street with its restaurants, shops, bars, parks, and 10-15 minutes walk to the CityCat ferry terminal.
Tracey is a great host, making you feel at home and always available if needed.

Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable!
Thankyou so much for letting us stay in your gorgeous property. The house is really comfortable and we loved the yard and our bbq's on the deck. There was plenty of room for 6 people and the location is fabulous. It is a really short walk to restaurants, cafe's, movies, park, chemist, bakeries and supermarket. When we gott the kids out of the cubbie house, they really enjoyed the games and movies (having "normal" not third party internet is great too). Our only regret is that we would of liked more time here to explore more of Bulimba and Hawthorne, such a great location in Brisbane. We will be back later this year and will definitely stay here again, if it's available.

lovely property
Great location, really easy to get everywhere. Close to restaurants, food shop, play park, ferry terminal and even a short hop to airport. The house is lovely - clean, inviting and comfortable, couldn't fault the house itself and Tracey was very accommodating. Kitchen is nicely stocked, linen very nice, bbq easy to use, great to have washing machine too. Petrol station (with food supplies) very close, extremely handy. Nice public swimming pool a short drive away. We had a lovely week there. Only two issues worth mentioning are noise from road - something we didn't get used to in the master bedroom. And in the warmer months, the child's bedroom is difficult to keep cool but I am sure this is something the owners will look into in the future.

Hi Nicky Thankyou so much for your kind and constructive review of Bella Bulimba. We are very hands on property managers and we take all feedback on with open arms. We are so glad that we have manged to provide a clean and comfortable space for our guests and our feedback is that most people really love the house and it's location. In reply to the noise issue for the front room, we are in the process of installing some block out curtains in addition to the existing timber blinds, fan and air conditioners, that have already been installed. I think we run into a bit of a stale mate after that, as traditionally Queensland homes were built (in all their wisdom) with no insulation in the walls or under the floor because our temperatures are so warm/mild. It is s bit of a catch 22, they were built for airflow and not noise reduction. I can well understand that if you are used to an insulated home on a quiet street you would find it somewhat noisy but I guess that some people can live with it better than others. I myself live a few suburbs away, in a "Queenslander" home, on a 4 lane road (twice as busy as this one) and am well used to it. Just so any potential guests reading this know....the house is very close (5 min stroll) to one of Brisbane's finest upmarket village cafe/restaurant precincts (No this is not King's Cross). Because of this location there are some draw backs in regards to traffic around the area and there is indeed traffic on this suburban street, however it is generally slow and the area usually empties once the restaurant diners have departed. The house does boast 3 off street car parks, so there is always parking here.

Location good
Very noisey road out front going to all hours. Need to shut windows as some have no fly screens on and mosquitos are bad Need to also shut main bedroom door when sleeping as there are no blinds on doors to back veranda and the lights shine straight in, this doesn't allow air con from lounge to run through so becomes very sticky. The nursery/study room had no door so daughter could not sleep as all the rooms come off the main living area. Couldn't use small sink in second toilet as there is a plumbing problem and would shake the whole house. Very low thread count on sheets. But saying all of this Tracey the owner was so lovely and accomodating going out of her way to install a portable air con into the main bedroom and was there to assist in anything we needed. Is a lovely presented home and very clean. Location is perfect, main shopping centre only a 10 min drive and cafes all walking distance. great to have Nespresso machine and everything you need, just need to bring you're clothes!

Hi Sarah As this is newly setup property we thank you for your feed back and have now installed a brand new, built in, air conditioner into the bedroom, which should resolve the light and noise issue. Being so close one of Brisbane's most popular restaurant and cafe precincts does attract some traffic into the area. We will attend to the "water hammer" problem in the second toilet to remove the noise. The cot is movable into any of the 3 bedrooms and is usually just stored in the study nook and the sheets are actually a pretty good thread count but perhaps still a bit stiff as they are new. Value for money, great location and comfortable
My husband and I have stayed at many holiday rentals and Bella Bulimba is right up there with the best in terms of value for money, location and comfort. It was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable which is really important to us. This house is so relaxing and has a really good vibe about it. The location is awesome, there are so many food and bar options that you can walk to. We had lunch at the Jetty, which was a lovely spot on the water, and then we caught the ferry into town. The next day we stayed at the cottage and relaxed and we cooked up a storm and enjoyed our meals on the back deck. The owner Tracy is a lovely lady, and I just want to thank you Tracy for making our stay such a lovely experience. We will book here again. 5 Stars for you...

Wow! Great house and fantastic location.This house is literally a short, flat stroll to everything. We really enjoyed staying in this area but more specifically this house has to be in the most convenient location. The house itself is setup for a family to enjoy themselves and has absolutely everything you need. We watched the kids playing on the cubbie house and slide, while bbqing and having our evening meals and drinks on the breezy back deck. We would go for a 5 minute stroll after dinner and buy the most amazing gelati for dessert. The restaurants and cafe's are some of the best we have been to and its great to be able to walk home. The beds are really comfy and having a fully sized cot was brilliant. It was really easy to take the kids to the movies and the park. Such a "laid back" and relaxing lifestyle. We will definitely stay here again!

Hi there potential guests and possible hosts.
My husband (Richard) and I would love to host you at one of our properties "Chill Camp Hill", "Hawthorne on the Park" and "Bella Bulimba". We also co-host 4 executive apartments in New Farm "LUXE on Brunswick" for it's owner Bill. We have both lived in Brisbane for over 25 years and we love our city! Whats more, we also love our little corner of Brisbane, yes we live in Camp Hill (only 5 mins from Hawthorne and Bulimba). So if you need help with the where/what/why we are more than happy to point you in the right direction.
We love to socialise and eating out with friends or entertaining guests at home is what we do.
We also love to travel, however now that we are getting a little bit older we love the comforts of home. The 3 properties are decked out with all the important stuff... too many to list but a clean kitchen, aircon, dishwasher, comfy beds and outdoor entertaining area (especially in warm climates) are our must haves these days.

In our opinion this river village suburb is very unique for Brisbane. It has everything you need and then some. Many many cafes, boutique bars, restaurants, movies, chemist, supermarket, gift stores, playgrounds and even a small golf course. It is walking distance to the "City cat for tranquil ferry rides ride into the City, Southbank, New Farm Park or even Eat Street.
