Welcome to our beautifully designed and spacious 4bed and 2bath family home, a perfect retreat for families and groups seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay. Nestled in a serene leafy neighbourhood, across from a large riverside park. our modern home offers a seamless blend of sophistication and coziness, ensuring an unforgettable experience for your stay.

The guest house sleeps 9 guests, if you need extra space for a larger family we also have two self contained studio on the property. We welcome inquiries via email.

Nice house to stay in, we weren’t aware there was a house directly behind us on the property with people pulling up in the driveway, but overall our stay was good

Great stay with multiple families

We stayed with two families of 4 with kids ages 5-9 and we had an amazing time. The house is updated with multiple lounging areas, including outside patio with a fan and lights for night time and air conditioning in every room. There were plenty of beds for everyone! The house had shampoo, body wash and conditioner, plenty of towels and cleaning supplies and hand soap. All basic kitchen utensils, dishes and glasses were available. Minor pests were present, but that's just Australia. Host was very communicative and responsive. Would stay again!

Weekend in Graceville

Lovely property. Very well presented. Very clean, neat and tidy. Everything worked and the process was easy. The owner was also available and communicated with us. Very happy guests.

Graceville House

House was in the perfect location for us, close to family. It was clean and had everything we needed. Maybe needs a curtain or something for privacy at the kitchen window as we often saw the people behind us could see us in there. (Maybe not a big deal, I’m just a person who likes her privacy). Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks also to our host who was very quick at responding to my messages.

What you see is pleasantly what you get.

How many times have you booked a place to stay and when you got there it didn’t live up to the photos.Well Not Waratah House.Waratah house is as the photos show, with bonuses. Kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with items for cooking (pots/pans, mixing bowls, baking paper, oven mitts).Shared laundry(with 2 back units) also very well stocked.Mei was very quick to respond to any queries.

Lovely property in a nice location

The house is extremely well presented, and the internal layout and amount of space perhaps belies first impressions when you look at the house. There was some building work going while we were there, but the owners recognised the situation with a lovely bottle of wine and a thank you card with a generous gift voucher. After two weeks in the house, we needed to stay longer and moved to the studio at the back of the property. While obviously not as spacious or well equipped as the main house, the studio provided all we needed for the additional time we stayed. The builder and his team were very considerable at all times and even started late one morning when we requested it. Overall, we recommend the property and would happily stay again. The owners could not have been more helpful in dealing with any issues or recognising any inconvenience caused by the building works going on. Thank you Mei and Igor

Lovely home, great location

This home is in a great location, close to restaurants. It was beautifully clean and even had a Nespresso machine. Owner came to visit every day.

Lovely Property in Terrific Location

We came to Brisbane for a family reunion at Christmas. Graceville is a really lovely, well located suburb, the house charming and owners terrific. The house was perfectly clean, the bedrooms were all a good size, nicely furnished and the owner was really considerate about the location of the beds to accommodate a toddler. The bathrooms were really nice, the kitchen practical, well equipped and a good size, there is a lovely outdoor dining area and a laundry. It was the perfect house for our stay, the owners very thoughtful - there were even some tasteful Christmas decorations around the house and large salad bowls provided so we could take our dishes to contribute to Christmas lunch. Could not recommend highly enough.

The versatility of this property is the highlight, It is spacious and comfortable. We can easily host family or two or large group travelers. everyone will have their own space. It is cross the street from huge park, safe for kid to play and throw balls. This is also a great location for traveller's with pets, with a local super frendily dog park just 200 meter's down the road or great walks along the river.
