El Eagle's Nest es una cabaña de troncos artesanal, auténtica y de nueva construcción con todas las comodidades modernas. Se asienta sobre un acantilado con vista al río Ohio y a las serenas tierras de cultivo de Kentucky. Ubicada a 5 minutos de la I-64 en el condado rural de Crawford, Indiana, la cabaña es de fácil acceso. Aunque el sitio no está totalmente aislado, los huéspedes tienen mucha privacidad. La cabaña duerme 6 en 3 dormitorios, y tiene 2. 5 baños. Great relaxation spot!

This cozy cabin is just lovely. The view is incredible and the cabin is very cute and clean, with linens that are much nicer than most rentals. A real treat to stay here and we will be back!

Wonderful cabin

Took my mother there for her 90 birthday. Location is perfect and cabin has very nice touches that made the stay wonderful. Been coming to the area for many years and rate this one the best.

Beautiful cabin very clean awesome view of the river even from the Hot tub and the fire pit. Karen was a great host and replied quickly to any of our needs. Great relaxing place to come back to after day at amusement park and a day of exploring mega cavern in Louisville and then a canoe trip. Definitely be back to stay again.

Overall this was everything we could have wished for, and some. As soon as we pulled into the lot we were speechless. The view is amazing, and the cabin was perfect. Karen was so generous, and explained everything we needed for the weekend thoroughly. We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin, and how lived in it felt. We got to hangout with Swifter the cat all weekend, and it was honestly perfect. The hot tub is amazing during both the day and night, and the fireplace is perfect. The grill already had a full tank of propane ready for us to go which eased the stress of forgetting to bring propane/charcoal. Everyone in this community made the weekend so much better. The hospitality we received was incredible. We are from Chicago so this was just so nice and different. Would 100% recommend going to the overlook restaurant (and ordering the dried pickle spears and catfish). Thank you so much Karen for making this weekend so special for us!

Great place to stay

Wonderful place to stay. Karen is a super hostess. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch looking at the awesome view and river traffic. Cabin was very clean and the beds comfortable. If we are ever in the area in the futurr, we would definately want to stay again.

Great Stay

This property was excellent. The owners were nice, helpful, and responsive. The cabin and its furnishings were clean and modern. It’s location was close to my family who live in the area. I will definitely stay here in the future!

Great getaway and private location

Loved the locations and quietness here. Daughter and I stayed there and just decompressed from our busy lives. We spent alotnof time in the hot in overlooking the river and absolutely loved the patio. Place was clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. A bonus was plenty of firewood for the fire pit! Hosts were responsive and great

Great get away

The eagle's nest is a lovely log cabin in a very peaceful spot with beautiful views. The property is very clean and well maintained. The check in and out process was simple and efficient. We brought food and enjoyed all our meals on the deck. The kitchen was more than adequate. My son loved getting to sleep up in the loft. The hot tub was perfect after a day of touring or hiking. Highly recommend and hope to return.

Excellent get-away cabin with a view

We had a great stay at the Eagle's Nest. The pictures don't do justice to the deck and views of the Ohio River. Karen was a great host. She met us at the cabin to quickly explain some details and answer any questions. The cabin was very clean and great for our needs. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the barges go down and up the river. It was in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed here to explore the area and to attend the farm show in Louisville, which was around 45 min. from the cabin.

Wonderful spot, kind attentive host

No problems at all. Beautiful cabin spot on a cliff overlooking the Ohio River. Spent all three mornings on the porch, driving coffee and listening to the wide range of local birds ---woodpeckers, orioles, mockingbirds, warblers, and cardinals. So relaxing. Hot tub and firepit were also used most nights---very fun! When we needed more firewood or coffee, Karen was attentive and brought some right over. Thanks!

Kentucky Derby

We had a group of 6 and had a wonderful stay at a beautiful cabin. It took us about 45 minutes to get to Churchill Downs and didn't have to deal with much traffic but we did leave by 9;30 AM. Unfortunately, we had no water the day of the Derby but no fault of the owners. I think there must have been a water main break.

Property is great !

My wife and I enjoyed our time here. If you need tech like WiFi or satelle or cable you won’t have it. But we didn’t need it the tv gets plenty of stations and the cell service for us was great so we just used our phone to look up things. The hot tub is one of the best we have ever had at a rental. The views from the deck are so relaxing at anytime of the day. We came for a weekend getaway and for a short 5 hour drive it’s was like a whole other world compared to our normal lives in Illinois. We took the short ride to Louisville which was great. The owners are great with their response time and with any info you may need. If your looking for a place for a getaway I highly recommend this cabin !

One word...Wow!!!

I am afraid to post this review, worried we may never get to book here again if it gets too busy. We needed a quiet, peaceful, romantic weekend away and we found it. If that is what you want consider coming here to unplug for a few days. Nice modern, new cabins with... no internet, no satellite TV, and spotty cellphone service. Maybe not for everyone, but just what we needed. The view is fantastic. Nestled high on the bank of the Ohio River looking east into Kentucky. I had no idea Indiana had anything like this view. The hot tub is also a big plus. I got to watch an amazing sunrise one morning while enjoying it. The location puts you 30 minutes to an hour from lots of great stuff to do as well. Caving, hiking, exploring, shopping, eating... plenty to do if you want to get out for a bit. The host was great and super friendly. Looking forward to coming back soon. Note: there are no laundry facilities either, so keep that in mind for your planning and packing.
