Great location, wonderful views

The well-equipped accommodation was conveniently located for beaches, shops, and restaurants. Amazing views, with windows that opened, so we could feel the breeze and listen to the ocean. Hosts were friendly, informative, and responsive.

From the personal check in with Jarmo to attend to the details of the property to the final check out date, it topped all expectations of 40 years in the travel business.

Excellent studio apartment

I stayed with my 12 year old for a week and we loved Manly. The views from the apartment are fabulous, we were very comfortable. The studio has everything you need and lots more-we particularly enjoyed the heated blankets! Great tapas bar downstairs too. Definite recommendation.

Amazing views. Very clean. Everything we could wish for our visit.

This apartment is superb. The hosts are extremely accomodating and helpful. I'm a self confessed snob when it comes to accomodation and this place checked all the boxes - it was like a home away from home. Netflix is even included on the TV and they gave us use of a local mobile phone to use for our Australia-based calls (useful for us as we live in San Francisco) during our stay.

Ideal location in Manly

Two things make this a wonderful place to stay - the amazing view and the provided parking! I will add the owner is cordial and responsive. Countless dining & shopping options are close by. The ferry is also so convenient. I would say this place is great for 2 - maybe 3 if it's a child. My modest suggestion to owner would be to upgrade bed linens, towels, and provide soap & shampoo for a more upgraded guest experience. Otherwise it's nearly perfect!

Location Location Location

We had a fantastic time in Manly kicking off our Australia road trip. Jarmo and Terje were very friendly hosts answering any upcoming questing swiftly. The apartment is very nicely located with short strolls to everything Manly has to offer and still very quite due to the 9th floor. There is everything needed to cook a simple meal and the coffee maker is a real treat. So is the water filter tab that makes the tab water drinkable (filters chlorine; applying especially to guests that aren't used to chlorined drinking water). The rooftop pool is quite small and does not provide any views, so don't expect the Bay Sands Marina Infinity pool. Considering the distance to the beach, a pool is not necessary anyway. If you don't mind nosy Cockatoos checking you out at the window every now and then, this apartment is the place to stay.

The apartment is very compact, had all we required for our 6 night stay and is well situated. It was a cold start to Spring in Manly, so it was fortunate that the heater was replaced promptly when it broke down. Jarmo, as owner, did a good job of making us feel welcome on arrival.

Perfect apartment for a couple. Clean, comfortable, convenient. Beautiful views of Manly beach. Access to and from Sydney is very convenient with the Manly Fast Ferry. Communication with the owner is very easy. Owner is very helpful and provides good suggestions for getting around.

This was our 2nd time in 4 years to stay in the same apartment for about a month. The owners are very pleasant, responsive and accommodating. The apartment is very clean, well organized and furnished with comfortable bed, sofa, dining, cooking appliances and appropriate pots, pans and dishes. Everything was exactly as the internet sight stated. We will be back to Australia and most definitely will return to this unit on Manly Beach. Beautiful views!

Wonderful apt with a picture perfect view of the beach.

Well equipped and centrally located to everything we needed. Loved taking the ferry into Sydney. The landlord met us at the ferry and showed us around. Very nice of him.

Perfect studio for our 17 day stay with fantastic view and ample storage

In the heart of Manly, overlooking Manly Beach and Shelley Beach the apartment was the ideal location for us, although it has a large glass area, the blinds are efficient so even the day when the temperature reached 40 degrees we were able to stay comfortable. Great place to watch the ever changing sea

If you don't want the Perfect Stay Keep Looking

The view is a little better than the picture. We stayed about 2 months and really it was just like home only a better location. Jarmo has literally thought of everything. From all the dish wear, utensils and linens to beach towels and umbrellas, even an emergency flashlight hanging in the closet. Jarmo called every week or so just to check in and make sure all was well and it was. They were the perfect off site hosts and we appreciate all they did for us.

Fantastic view over Manly beach

This apartment was spotlessly clean and was beautifully appointed with quality, contemporary furnishings. The owners had paid great attention to detail, supplying everything required for a comfortable stay. The view from the apartment over Manly beach was fantastic and I would highly recommend it, particularly as it is situated on the top floor of a building which is very private and secure, with CCTV cameras throughout.

Perfect venue for our stay. All was as expected with many additional extras

We were visiting family [who live near Manly] from the UK and the town provided all that we needed and more, plus the ferry into Sydney is just perfect for exploring and access. Staying for 4 weeks we found the laundry provision on the roof very convenient & we were thrilled to find so many practical extras provided in the apartment and topped-up weekly e.g. detergent/toilet paper/body-wash/coffee capsules etc. The weekly clean & change of linen also first class. A quality hairdryer too - which far exceeded the usual hotel standard provided! Wi-fi signal was a bit spasmodic but as we were on holiday we took a relaxed approach to that. Being on 9th floor with the amazing view to wake up to daily was an another bonus but we did find the lifts a bit slow as one was frequently out of action and the building is obviously home to many so there was a fair amount of waiting around at times. However I would certainly recommend the apartment as a good value for money holiday home.

Brilliant

All was catered for, including a mobile phone.Both units we're set up perfectly,views from the units are awsome, we even managed to see some whale activity.Jarmo and team have two perfect units. We highly recommend these units for anyone wishing to stay in Manly. Ferries are close by.

Wonderful flat in a great location

We rented both of Jarmo's flats when visiting family recently. Communication was good and he was kind enough to meet us at the the ferry terminal. The flat was exactly as pictured and was kept very well for us by the cleaner throughout our stay. Essentials, cooking supplies and a courtesy mobile phone were provided and the internet service was very reliable. Parking was also catered for and we were never unable to find a space. The views from the flat were stunning and the location was extremely convenient, not only for Manly but also for access to the ferry and therefore Sydney city itself. As mentioned in other reviews, the lifts were slow at times but this was not a great inconvenience. We hope to return to the property for future visits - thank you very much, Jarmo!
