Estamos felices de que sus mascotas lleguen y se queden también, siempre que sean amables y se porten bien. Incluso pueden dormir en el interior, simplemente no en las habitaciones o en los muebles, por favor. El patio del granero está completamente vallado, con sombra y agua.

Our young family enjoyed our stay at Wattle Bank Retreat. The kids loved feeding the chooks and alpacas, and made full use of the many toys and books that were available in the barn. It's clear that Donna and Graeme care about the little things - the fridge was stocked with bacon, fresh eggs, bread, and a bunch of kitchen staples that meant us tired parents didn't have to worry about breakfast during our stay there.

We enjoyed a most wonderful relaxed stay. Accom had a cosy rustic feel and was amazingly cool despite the summer heat. Everything we needed was provided including lovely breakfast provisions. We loved the alpacas and chickens and enjoyed feeding them. Such lovely peaceful surrounds. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay with all the necessary amenities and a toasty warm wood heater. Very close to the main residence, but still very private. Hosts were great to communicate with and very friendly.

We had a wonderful stay in cosy, rustic accommodation with a sensational fireplace and some gorgeous farm animals. Donna and Graeme made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The chickens and alpacas were a real favourite with the grandchildren, who absolutely loved spending time with them. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils we needed, and we were pleasantly surprised to find country bacon, eggs, and cereal thoughtfully provided. Such an unexpected treat! Overall, it was a delightful and memorable time. Thanks again

A terrific weekend. The place has all the amenities you could need. Our dogs also loved the big enclosed yard and keeping an eye on the alpacas, cows and chickens! Highly recommended!

Short mini break

We had planned a short mini break in this beautiful area combined with a family event. We loved the accommodation and was looking forward to exploring the area but unfortunately, we had to cut short our stay. Donna was very understanding and kind. We highly recommend this property and hope to get back for a visit.

Wonderful Home from Home!

We had the best long weekend staying at Wattle Bank Retreat! The location was perfect for what we wanted, secure back yard for our pups and close enough to Inverloch and Wonthaggi to spend a few hours…thank you so much Donna! We will be back if you will have us

Relaxing farm stay, great location

Great communication with host, extremely helpful and friendly. My daughter and friend had a wonderful break at the farm with the animals close by. And a bonus not being far from the beach.

Relaxing long weekend

My husband and I had a comfortable, relaxing stay with our two dogs. Donna and Graeme are very friendly hosts and their accommodation is beautifully clean and welcoming. Thankyou for the wonderful weekend break.

Fantastic Stay

Donna and Graeme were amazing hosts and the property was just fabulous. The alpacas and chickens a delight.It was located in a great spot with a short drive to Inverloch and Wonthaggi. All amenities including fresh farm eggs were provided. We loved our stay and are hoping to be back soon. Thabk you. Nayanthi, Guy and Rheya.

Transported to a childbook. Amazing.

We loved it! Upon booking we were nervous due to having a large Great Dane x Irish wolfhound that has not much experience with farm animals (albeit his a sleepy old man) but the property is set out perfectly for privacy and safety of the animals. (Turns out he was unbothered and slept/watched the chickens with a smile😅) Best shower - legit best shower I have had in a while, pressure was great and heat wonderful. All amenities you would need are there. Very clean and well thought out. Such a blessing to find such a space to enjoy. A delight to be able to enjoy Graeme’s handywork, so much character in the place and surrounding gardens. It truly transported us into a child’s book (in the best way possible!) A wonderful spread of orange juice bread, cereal and spreads were provided. Such a nice touch. We were met by both hosts and both are lovely! A sense of humour and we highly recommend this place. Didn’t want to leave! Thanks guys - best little break away!

Pleasant stay

We were surrounded by beautiful nature and well kept gardens, friendly farm animals and hosts who were very helpful. The barn we stayed in was very comfortable and well equipped, well furnished, decorated and modern. Heating was provided by a fire place , plenty of wood was also provided, there is an air conditioner too but we didn't need to use it. We were 7 minutes away from the heart of Inverloch town, parks, shops, restaurants and the beach. We brought our dog with us and he was quite happy and content with the barn and open grass areas but needed to be kept on a leash due to the Alpacas for its safety.

Beautiful Getaway

Loved it from the moment we arrived. Warm, cosy, amazing wood fire, super comfy beds. Wonderful to wake up and look out to nature and the farm animals. No internet meant lots of interaction and epic Pictionary games with our teens. Being able to bring our dog was great. 10 mins from the beach. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful farm stay

We had a great time with our toddler and dog at wattle bank. The hosts Donna and Graeme are lovely. They had the fire going for us before we arrived and our little one loved feeding all the animals. There was plenty of secure space for our dog to explore and the location is secluded but only 10 mins to bigger towns. We loved our stay and look forward to being back in the future.

Wonderful location & facilities

We have stayed in a lot of B&B’s and this is one of the best. The hosts were wonderful, close by if needed but didn’t intrude. A beautiful, quiet area surrounded by nature. Highly recommend.

Great location and layout

Positioned between Wonthaggi and Inverloch, the Bass Coast is your oyster. Less than an hour to beautiful Phillip Island - what more could you ask? On site you can engage with the farmyard animals, enjoy a wood burning stove or relax in the sunshine outside. The "barn" is well insulated and would be cosy on the deepest, darkest winter nights. The layout worked for us but may not for all. The double bunk with single on top is a walk through room to third bedroom with single bed. Highly recommend a stay particularly with you have little ones and/or a dog.

A farm retreat with all the extras.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wattle Bank Farmstay Retreat.The location is central to a host of activities and the accommodation was very comfortable with a rustic charm. The owners were helpful and considerate and generously provided an abundance of supplies for our use. The farm animals really set the mood and would be a big hit with children. A great retreat and we'll be back.

Relaxing and comfortable getaway

We had a great stay here with our teenager and our pooch. Very comfortable and cozy and the butter, beerenburg jams, bacon, fresh bread, free range eggs, coffee and chocolates were all a delicious bonus! The animals were adorable and the host was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Only a short drive to the best beaches and coastal landscapes. Thank you for a lovely getaway we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Brooke and Peter 😁

We moved here to Wattle Bank from Melbourne because we wanted to get out of the hustle & bustle of the city and we've always had a dream of owning a bit of property. We've holidayed at Inverloch many times so we knew the area quite well. We really love it here because it's quiet and peaceful but also close enough to Inverloch & Wonthaggi so everything we need is only a few minutes drive away.

We liked this property straight away because of it's location and proximity to everything. There's so much to see and do around here and many beautiful beaches close by so there is never a shortage of things to do. It's the perfect location to live or just get away for a few days to relax or explore.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Quiet and peaceful, lots of local attractions close by including Philip Island, Wilsons Prom, wineries, cafe's, shops, markets, beaches. Or you can just stay here and be entertained by our gorgeous farm animals. Get up close and personal with our friendly Dexter cows, alpaca's, cheeky goat and happy chickens.
