This cottage was so cute, very clean, and well equipped, and my fly fishing husband was thrilled that the Battenkill was literally just steps away! A very short drive took us right into town, while the cottage and surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend!

Wonderful cottage, very comfortable, well stocked, and clean. I loved the screened porch! Also it’s in a great location to access Manchester. The hosts were great with communication. We will definitely return!

Comfortable, great shower, great location just outside of Manchester and easy to get to ski hills. Loved the wood stove on a cold winter weekend. Will visit again.

I love Joyce and John’s property. I have stayed here 4x, each stay worked out perfectly.The house is very well stocked with kitchen supplies, and is fully stocked with board games, etc.Owners are very good at communicating, which is key.Very pleased each time.

Great location! Adorable home!

We stayed here because we were working a wedding at Hildene and the location could not have been more perfect. We didn't spend much time in the home, but for the hours that we did use it to sleep, it was very comfortable and accomodating!

Roomy cottage with lots of space for us to relax in. Happily we were able to sit on the porch when the weather cooled down. We were surprised by the freight train that rumbled by. The first time we thought it was coming through the living room! A heads up would have been helpful! Also, a lot of different sizes and shapes of bugs despite windows and doors being shut. Air conditioning was great and a real lifesaver.

Perfect size for a small family

This home was the perfect size and location for our family. It was super clean and super easy to access. Everything worked as it should and made our trip very enjoyable!

Overall our experience was very good. The cottage was immaculate and well furnished. The sun porch was very comfortable and cool . Our only issue was trying to access channels on the tv. 90% of them said not available and it kept asking for us to enter a parental control passcode for some unknown reason. And then it froze on there and even shutting the tv off and on didn’t help until it stayed off overnight . I think some information on how to maneuver with this remote along with a list of channels would be a welcomed addition. Other than that we were very pleased with this lovely cottage .
