We had a fantastic stay at this property this December, and we cannot recommend it enough! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and relaxing.The Property & Amenities: The house itself feels like a private spa. We spent time enjoying the hot tub, sauna, and steam shower—it truly felt like a luxury getaway. Everything was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The living area is perfect for winding down; the seating is very cozy, and the Roku setup made it easy to stream our favorite shows. The kitchen seemed well stocked with necessities, though we did not need it much with all the available local eateries! Unique Features: A highlight for us was the location right on the Hudson River. Watching the ships pass by against that backdrop was peaceful and mesmerizing. The bedroom featured wrap-around windows, offering an incredible view to wake up to.Location & Hosting: The location is unbeatable. You are perfectly positioned near Saugerties, Catskill, and Hudson, meaning there is an endless list of great restaurants, shops, and things to do just a short drive away. Additionally, JoAnn was wonderful—communication was clear, prompt, and very helpful.

Wonderful place

Property is exactly as described, beautiful waterfront view. Very private and lots of amenities. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

The View and the Peace

It was a wonderful and restful stay in Catskill. The property was immaculate and as described on the river. Sunrise was amazing. View from bedroom and rest of property is second to none. The host was very considerate and communication was great. When I return to Catskill i would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for making my stay something I will always remember.

Restfull solitude

My wife and I had a wonderful, relaxing time on the Hudson River. Our rental was everything it said it was and more. The view alone was worth the price of admission. Our hosts were incredibly friendly, thoughtful and very attentive to our needs. We look forward to returning in the future.!!! Jim and Paula MacVane

One of a kind location.

The property, aptly named "Heaven on Earth" and the ever-changing Hudson River view from the second story deck is simply breathtaking. The grounds are magical, the living quarters comfortable and well-appointed, the dogs friendly and happy, but above all the owners, JoAnn and Scott, define what hospitality is supposed to be. We're so happy this place exists and look forward to our return.

What a View!

From the get go, Joann is phenomenal! The place is amazing, private and a beautiful getaway! All you need is there! Great Host, loved the Champagne amd strawberries- thanks Joann! The views are breathtaking! The private balcony, the wrap around stairs are just another great feature. Stop and stock up on groceries so you dont have to leave! This truly is a bucket-list place to visit!

Gorgeous Hudson River view

A lovely place to stay, million $ view. Extremely quiet, beautiful decks overlooking the river. Bed is very comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. The only downside is that when we were there, there were no blinds on a large window overlooking the bed, and on the top sections of other windows. There are skylights in the bedroom as well. The hosts did provide eye masks, but for us, it was difficult to sleep late due to the sun. Overall, an enjoyable stay. A beautiful spot. We would love to return.

River views

House right on the Hudson River which was a constant source of entertainment, watching boats of all kind going by, train across the river, bald eagles, fish jumping, sunrise and great view of Wanton Island. The sauna was wonderful, used it twice a day. Greeted with a bottle of champagne and chocolate strawberries.

Location, location, location!

The property is spectacular, the location exquisite! We've already booked our return. Beautifully appointed, thoughtfully decorated with taste & care and every need anticipated. It's impossible to say enough good things about it. The sleep number bed was very comfortable. Taking in the view was a constant source of joy. JoAnn and Scott made us feel so welcome. They are wonderful hosts and we are grateful guests. S&D from Annapolis, MD.

Peaceful Little Spot - Ideal Location for Quiet

JoAnn & Scott were wonderful hosts! The communication was clear and prompt from the time of booking until we left. They offered recommendations and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We did! The property is so tranquil. The view of the Hudson River is magical. We were greeted by a rainbow, a bottle of sparkling wine, and chocolate-covered strawberries. The sauna and steam shower were great after exploring and hiking in the area. Reading and relaxing inside was a treat. Watching the sunrise from the deck and the constantly changing sky was awe-inspiring. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, I’d highly recommend staying here!!

Amazing Stay

My wife and I loved our time up in Catskill. The views from the house were unbeatable. It was certainly one of the best vacation properties we've stayed in. The check in process was easy and the communication with JoAnn was great throughout. The sauna was a perfect touch especially since our trip was in the winter. We would absolutely stay here again!
