¡Escápese a una isla mágica paradisíaca! Este retiro familiar o de pareja por excelencia inspira un ambiente tranquilo y relajado de antaño. Ubicado en árboles frutales y paisajes tropicales, es un "salto, salto y salto" a la playa y sus hermosas aguas de la isla. Una verdadera delicia para los amantes de la naturaleza, el patio es el hogar de serpenteantes tortugas Gopher y visitar Osprey, que frecuentan las abundantes cubiertas. El espacio de vida del segundo piso, ventoso y de concepto abierto, disfruta de deslumbrantes vistas panorámicas de la isla y el agua. La casa cuenta con 4 dormitorios, 2. 5 baños con aprox. 2100 pies cuadrados de espacio interior más 420 pies cuadrados de cubiertas protegidas bajo techo. La membresía maestra del primer piso del North Captiva Island Club está incluida con su estadía. Tiene capacidad para 6 a 8 personas. Primer piso dormitorio principal-cama Queen, w / baño principal adjunto y controles deslizantes a la cubierta. 2do dormitorio-cama de tamaño completo con controles deslizantes para cubierta. 3er dormitorio-2 camas individuales y puerta corrediza a 4to dormitorio con cama individual y sofá moderno que se pliega en una cama pequeña. Segundo baño tiene bañera y ducha. Lavadora secadora. Todos los pequeños electrodomésticos, cafetera, tostadora, licuadora, etc. Bar con asientos en la cocina para 6. This was our first trip to N Captiva Island and this home was a wonderful place to stay to get a feel for the island. There was plenty of space and it was so nice to have 365 degree windows! Andrew was a great property manager as well. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. We played board games that were provided as well took advantage of the beautiful beach. Wonderful hosts- you made our vacation absolutely memorable!

Awesome house with stunning views!

We have been coming to the island every summer for several years now, and this is our favorite house so far. The location is great, the views are beautiful and everything is just as advertised. Tortuga Properties was great to work with and provides great service. We will definitely return.

Perfect location, but the property needs some updates

We had a great time, the island is paradise on earth, however, the house needs some major TLC. And maintenance. The kitchen is poorly stocked. Not a decent knife, cutting board, or pans, specially since you have to cook everyday. The bathrooms need major upgrade. And the furniture is very old, specially the beds. Although I have to say the chess table kept my family very entertained. Owner should spend some time and money upgrading the property for us to stay here again.

Hi, I am so sorry if you were in any way disappointed with your stay. We want all our guests to have a relaxing and comfortable stay and are continually making improvements to our home. This month we are painting outside and putting down new entryway decking. I do, however, want to clarify a few of your concerns. The kitchen is stocked with 3 cutting boards; a large plastic one, a large acrylic one and a small wooden one. There are 6 stoneware frying pans of varying sizes. One is brand new and still wrapped in plastic and was available for your use. The others are all less than 2 years old. We have several German cutting knives and a knife sharpener if they get dull from use. The main living area has new couches and leather chairs. The beds may have older “cottage frames” but all have new clean mattresses. Yes, the bathrooms could be updated, but everything is super CLEAN and neat and in working order. We are a beach retreat and advertise ourselves as such. It is our family beach home and we love it dearly. We want all our guests to feel the same. I realize you had relatives stay with us recently who recommended our home to you. I am grateful for their recommendation and truly sorry you did not feel the same way.

Never a bad stay on NCI.

I literally cried after we left the marina to start our journey home. I never want to leave NCI. FOR THIS HOUSE: you’re mid island. Close to basically everything. The house is dated but has a great layout. Tortuga is very responsive. We did have a weird thing with golf carts but I can’t be mad. Overall, I would stay here again but probably will rent elsewhere next time.

Lovely home on a secluded island

This is a lovely home to stay in for a family vacation. We found it had everything that we needed. The floorplan is great, with all of the bedrooms on the first floor, plenty of room for our family of six. The kitchen, dining room and living room on the second floor provide for fantastic views. We took some beautiful pictures of sunrise and sunset from the hawks nest at the top of the house. The island is beautiful, with lots of wildlife. We saw dolphins, manatees, gopher tortoises, lots of birds, including an eagle, while exploring the nature preserve. The house is a very quick golf cart ride to the beautiful beach with lots and lots of seashells. The surf was very gentle while we were there. There are some extra steps to staying on an island only accessible by ferry, but it is worth it for the seclusion and a definite feel of “island time.” We are adventuresome, so we rarely stay at the same place twice, however if we were the type of folks who found somewhere we loved and go back, this would definitely be somewhere we would come back to.

Pretty decent.

Location was great. The house had plenty of space. Kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the porches. The bedrooms are all close and the walls are pretty thin though. The bedrooms are under the main living space so you can hear every footstep from above which made it difficult for light sleepers. There were plenty of towels and linens. There was only one blow dryer and it was broken, I should've brought mine. My major complaint is with the golf carts. Both of the golf carts seemed like they are on their last leg. We kept pulling to the side to let people pass because the carts were so slow. One of the golf carts didn't have brakes and would move with the key turned off. I emailed twice about getting different golf carts but didn't get much response. We ended up renting a golf cart from Boats and Fun. This was much better. Overall, the house worked out okay and we enjoyed our stay. The owner should consider having a few beach chairs and umbrella for guest to take to the beach.

Thank you for your review as it can help us make improvements. We love our home and the island and want all families to enjoy it as much as we do! I am sorry we didn’t have the opportunity to help you work out any issues you may have had(we did not get any emails, did you send to our concierge service?) We have beach chairs and an umbrella for our renters in the “garage.” It is locked as we have had some disappear, but we left the key for you. The hairdryer must have broken recently and I would have happily had one delivered to you had I known. We have enjoyed the carts for many years and it was a comfort knowing they are not fast, and therefore felt safer. That being said, they are getting old and we realize not all would feel the charm of our memories spent in them and we are investing in a new cart for our renters’ use.

Amazing Space, with great communication from property manger to help us with anything we needed!

Fantastic vacation with our whole family ! 8 adults and baby (2) plenty of space. Tourtuga property management, and their entire team were so easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed ( even if we didnt know we needed it ) ! We brought our boat down and Duncan helped us get situated at the dock every night, and a local named Chris even helped a stranger ( us ) tinker with our engine and trouble shoot ! We felt the Island is well kept, clean, and totally safe. Even in the midst of a pandemic, the whole island was attentive and let strangers share in a bit of the magic, which was much needed for us. We will be back!
