Este popular apartamento de vacaciones de 3 dormitorios en el edificio 14 cuenta con la mejor ubicación frente al mar en Hali'i Kai. Sienta la brisa marina desde su balcón privado en la planta baja, en un entorno famoso por ver a las ballenas hacer su migración cada invierno. La propiedad está amueblada con una decoración tropical contemporánea con mejoras especiales en la cocina y los baños. Los huéspedes disfrutan de una cocina bien surtida y una sala de estar que da a las fascinantes vistas del océano. El dormitorio principal también cuenta con vista al mar, baño privado y vestidor. Absolutely amazing stay on the Big Island

We were absolutely blown away by this property on our familiy’s vacation. Absolutely beautiful setting, the home is very clean and comfortable. Great layout. Sitting on the back patio and enjoying that view is the most relaxing spot we could’ve asked for. Very conveniently located, we just couldn’t have been happier. Hope to stay here again and would recommend it to anybody.

Loved location of condo as well as the entire property. Quiet and well manicured. Beds and bedding were a dream! Host provided all the beach toys we needed! Restaurant and bar at the pool were an added bonus! Would tent again!

Hali’i Kai Stay

Nice unit. Above average kitchen with very good appliances, dishes, pots and pans. Some reviews noted the unit did not have much for spices etc, but we found the unit well stocked.

Perfect rental!

This condo was immaculate and comfortable, the location is amazing for whale watching off of the lanai, and The Ocean Club (Hali'i Kai's private restaurant) is steps away and is delicious. We only wish we would have eaten there earlier in our trip to try more of the menu. The pool looked nice but we did not use it. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Waikoloa/Puako.

Amazing waterfront views

This is a very well located condo in a charming small complex. The view is absolutely stunning. It’s just incredible to wake up every morning to spectacular ocean views. The complex has a lovely small clubhouse area and beautiful pool - they have a great menu for a quick lunch, and the service and staff are all very friendly. Two hints - no umbrellas at the pool so be aware if that is an issue for you, and if you’re planning on dinner at the clubhouse (it’s lovely), make reservations. With regard to the condo, it’s very nice and clean-ish. Well decorated, very comfortable bed in the primary room and nice soft sheets. It’s obviously a place that gets a lot of wear and tear. The bathroom has leaky faucets and the shower is in desperate need of a very deep clean. I can tell that the staff works hard to keep everything well stocked for beach outings, we found a closet full of towels chairs etc. We also used the kitchen extensively and found everything we needed. All in all we had a lovely time and appreciated all of the hard work put into this condo.

Wonderful stay!

Excellent property-clean, lovely view, well stocked for cooking and all the beach gear that one could need. The property itself is just a few minutes walk from the pool, a few minutes drive from the grocery/restaurants and within fifteen minutes of several excellent beaches. We'll be back!

Best spot for sunsets!

The place was beautifully maintained, nice appliances and bathrooms. Even the sheets were a lovely soft thread count. We drove the Beach 69 several times (great snorkeling on the beach) and even tried the Hilton amenities (avoid these).... Totally recommend this place!

Oceanfront Awesomeness

This place was great. We were attending a conference next door at the Hilton and this place was a 10 min walk away so proximity was great. The unit was oceanfront, allowing you to sit on the lanai and watch the whales breach - great experience. The place was very spacious - 3bdrm, 2 bathroom - and large modern kitchen and living area. It had everything you need for your hawaiian vacation including a closet with EVERYTHING you need for the beach including chairs, cooler, toys for kids, boogie boards, snorkels, etc. The listing did not mention a BBQ at the unit but there is in fact a small Weber grill on the lanai that was great. The building the unit is in is a 30 second walk to the Hali'i Kai's amazing pool and fitness facility so also a bonus of this unit as some of those closer to the road are quite a walk. Overall impression of this place is a 10/10. Book it to have an unforgettable Hawaiian holiday, we will definitely be back.

We had an amazing trip and enjoyed our stay. The condo was very convenient to pool, beach, shopping and dining. It was ocean front, spacious, well appointed and clean. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the lanai watching the dolphins. Absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful views

We really enjoyed our time as a family at the condo. You cannot beat the views! 30 second walk to the pool and hot tub. Came stocked with laundry soap, dish soap and bathroom supplies. My only criticism is that the unit itself needs some updating. It is very dark interior decor and the TV and air-conditioning gave us a hard time. I assume it was normal because they left notes on how to fix. Nothing that couldn’t be resolved but it needs a little care. The electric stove took 30 minutes to boil a pot of water and there is no bbq. There is one at the pool but don’t want to bbq when people are enjoying a nice dinner. Other than needing an update this condo is amazing! Management company was very easy to work with and pleasant.

Lovely condo complex in a great setting

We like the Hali i Kai complex and the condo we rented was good for its accommodation and its location near our friends' condo. The view is directly over lava beds to the ocean and 5 or 6 people would be comfortable there sharing 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Hali i Kai complex is well maintained and has access to the shore path that fronts the Hilton complex. It also has its own pool and dining facilities which is available for a daily resort fee of $10, soon to be $20. The condo we rented had a decorator look which made it a little dark (grasscloth walls, heavy woven shades) but was clean and had good beds. Our only disappointment was that the kitchen is not at all provisioned. If you plan to dine in, you must bring EVERYTHING---there is not a spice, sugar, catsup, oil, vinegar or any other staple. No napkins cloth or otherwise, scant soap in the bathroom (1 small bar for 3 people using that bath, 1 small shampoo and 1conditioner). There is no broom, nor dust pan, no rags, only 2 kitchen hand towels which doubled for dish towels, beat up place mats, 6 mugs only. So if you like coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon, you need to hand wash. (There is dish soap and washing machine soap and paper towels). The place just felt a bit spare and unfriendly in its starkness. We have stayed at many other vacation rentals where the atmosphere feels warmer by the comforts offered to renters like basic staples we are invited to use. (There was 1 serving pack of coffee). The refrigerator is 100% empty. Other than that, I'd recommend Hali i Kai and even this unit for the amenities of the property and its location.

We loved it! This unit is only 200 ft from the clubhouse and pool plus it has an amazing ocean view right off of lava rocks! It's nicely decorated and had all the amenities you need for the perfect vacation!
