Beautiful property and views

This property is lovely, well maintained and stocked with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The views right off the patio and from then pool and restaurant are stunning.

Family Getaway

Vacation with my 85 year old mom who hasn’t been to Hawaii in 20 years as well as my youngest son and daughter in law who are pregnant with my first grandchild. What a precious time of relaxing and enjoying the beauty and sunshine of Hawaii. Love the Waikoloa area and the condo was wonderful. Great memories made. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place!

Outstanding as expected

The villa was very clean and the view from the lanai is as beautiful as pictured! Perfect for our family of four with 13 and 9 year old, would book again without hesitation. Sue was amazingly responsive and helpful, big mahalo to her!

Wonderful place to stay!

Haliikai 15b was by far one of the best places I’ve stayed for vacation! The owners have definitely exceeded our expectations with the amenities and everything provided in the condo that one would need! There was not one thing that we had to go and purchase! The owners were very responsive and kept me updated with details prior to our visit. We will definitely re-book for the next visit!

Just gorgeous

Our God makes such beautiful places!! The property is amazing. We had everything we needed and more. Beds slept well. Had coffee (furnished) watching the sunrise and the blue Pacific water. Area was beautiful and quite. Snorkeling gear and other fun time stuff provided. Took a lava rock path to see the sunrise. Pool was great, restaurant food was good and staff was nice. Lots to do in the area. Food is expensive but Walmart is only 20 or so miles away

Beautiful location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa was well stocked with beach gear, so that made packing much easier. The views were amazing - we saw several whales while sitting on the patio. The proximity to golf courses was excellent. One thing to note, the pool closes at 8:00 and if you were going there later in the day, they seemed to frequently run out of towels.

Another great stay in paradise

This was our second stay in Kerry & Sue's unit and it was every bit as good as the first one. Sue worked alongside her cleaners to allow us to check in a few hours early and she was a joy to meet. The unit is outfitted with every cooking utensil, dish, pot, food storage item as well as boogie boards, fins, beach towels and lots of coffee pods. The location is spectacular with ever-changing ocean views off the patio and a just short stroll to the Beach Club. Just minutes from golf courses. Sue was extremely responsive to our needs and suggested a few ideas for activities and fresh fish purchases that we really enjoyed. This is five stars in every way and we look forward to our next visit.

Paradise!

We had a lovely stay at Hali’i Kai 15B! Lots of whales to watch from the lanai, and the condo well stocked with beach supplies etc. the Ocean Club was great as always- shout out to our favorite server Kathy! Excellent communication with our hosts. Highly recommend.

Amazing

Wonderful property and hosts. Stayed in mid to late December and saw whales everyday and dolphins multiple times from lanai. Condo was clean with kitchen supplies, games, dvds and outdoor activity supplies. In a great location for access to multiple beaches along with shopping, restaurants and grocery.

Fantastic oceanfront condo!

I would highly recommend this unit! The oceanfront location (and outdoor lanai) is amazing and the condo complex itself is super conveniently located and has all the benefits of a larger hotel without the crowds. The unit was absolutely spotless and was literally the best stocked/equipped unit I have ever rented. They thought of everything! Sue and Kerry were very responsive and fixed a minor issue immediately. I would absolutely stay there again! It was perfect for our family of four!

Great condo

I usually don’t give reviews but I had to say something because this place exceeded our expectations! A Wonderful place it had beautiful view from the lanai which made a great spot to drink coffee in the morning and watch the sunsets at night. The condo was outfitted with everything we needed and was a comfortable place to relax. fishermans trail is right off the lanai and leads to 49 black sand beach, a great beach for snorkeling and relaxing, only about a 10 minute walk on the historic trail. The hosts were very welcoming and able to help with any issues. They gave us a great recommendation for our 20th anniversary dinner, Ulu was just the place we were looking for. The ocean club was close by and had great food and drinks as well as a nice pool. I would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect stay for a family trip !

The condo was awesome- the listing is very accurate! Clean, VERY well stocked and the owners were very responsive. Proximity to the ocean club (pool & restaurant) was perfect with small kids. The view is incredible! We will be back.

Family vacation

Perfect location for a family vacation. Property has all the amenities for beach days. Kitchen is well-equipped and the property is close to Foodland, a local grocery store. Beds were very comfortable. Hosts were incredibly responsive to any needs and couldn’t have been kinder. Highly recommend!

Quiet Oceanfront Condominium in Paradise

Absolutely beautiful condo, first floor, lanai, ocean view., exceptionally clean. Early morning & sunset views of ocean & ocean life incredible. Hali’i Kai 15-B. Sue & Kerry McClelland wonderful hosts & were available if anything was needed. Washer/dryer/dishwasher/ 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms… condo was all stocked up & many sports & beach gear provided. Condo right in the center of Waikoloa next to the Hilton & shopping & golf courses. Bonus.. Ocean club with restaurant/ bar/ multiple pools/ hot tub & workout room within 100 yds. Safe & secure gated community. Had a wonderful 2 weeks with daughter & grandkids & 2nd week with friends. Would definitely come back!!!! Thank you Sue & Kerry

Slice of Paradise

We stayed for five nights with our two young daughters. Everything was fabulous! I will always remember eating meals in the patio and watching a baby whale breaching over and over out in the ocean. The pool access was perfect for our kids. We loved being able to eat at The Ocean Club while watching the sunset and then walking the 3 minutes back to the condo. We loved having beach toys, umbrella, chairs, and a boogie board to take to the beach. Great location close to beautiful beaches. The owners were fabulous with communication. Overall we had a five star experience and we are dreaming of coming back!

Escape from cold and the rain

Amazing Hosts and communication was the best. Mornings sitting at the table on the back patio watching whales swim by was unbelievable. The ocean club and pool was a minute walk from the front door.So many things to do in the area My wife and I can see ourselves returning every year.

Great Hosts, Great Unit and Fabulous Views

This unit exceeded our expectations. The development has everything right at your fingertips; from restaurants, markets, bike rentals, and pubs to golf courses. The Beach Club is a short stroll from the unit and has a wonderful free-form pool, restaurant and bar. The unit itself in in great shape and comes with top quality appliances, utensils etc. as well as everything one could ask for in terms of beach chairs, towels, sporting equipment, and binoculars for watching the ever-present whales and even Spinner Dolphins. The views from the patio are spectacular and we've never seen Humpback Whales so close to the shore. We are so impressed that we just booked a longer stay in the unit in 2024.

Whale Watching Paradise

We had an awesome stay! The condo is very well equipped, everything you need is supplied! We loved watching the whales from here we didn’t want to leave the condo! The pool area is great, several nights we went to watch the sunset at the pool and then enjoyed dinner afterward. Everything was delicious, especially the mai tais😁. We would definitely stay here again!

We purchased a fixer upper home 5 years ago in North Kohala and are still working on the renovation-let's just say we have embraced the much slower pace of the Big Island! We had taken many vacations to Hawaii and the dry side of the Big Island became the obvious choice as Sue discovered the consistent warmth has reduced her arthritis pain -unlike the extreme temperature changes in California. Perhaps the amazing sunsets, stargazing and mai tais may have also influenced our decision! Hali'i Kai is the prime location on the island-our villa 15B is one of a handful of truly oceanfront accommodations within Waikoloa Resorts. Easy drives to Kona, Hilo, Waimea and countless of hidden gems we can share!

Aloha is a way of life in Hawaii and we truly believe each guest will experience the beautiful spirit of the island. It all begins with feeling the ocean spray and listening to the crashing waves from your private lanai! We have made our ground floor villa accessible for everyone-no carpet-new shower with built in seat and a lot of open floor space throughout the villa with easy to move furniture-new appliances and full size weber grill. (fully stocked kitchen-too many to list but even a rice cooker for the fresh fish barbecue is my fave!) Location to Ocean Club pools, exercise is perfect. This a a TRUE OCEANFRONT VILLA-not just oceanview as others should clarify-only villas in buildings 13 14 and 15 are truly oceanfront!!
