North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.

The space
Set on the second floor, this bright condo is filled with natural light and designed to keep groups comfortable from arrival to checkout. The open layout flows easily between living and dining areas, and the private balcony is a favorite spot for morning coffee or winding down after a full day in the city. Free parking on premises means one less thing to think about.
Sleeping arrangements
Each of the four bedrooms is outfitted with a plush bed, quality linens, and a Smart TV - so whether guests want to gather or retreat for the evening, both are easy. The layout comfortably sleeps eight, and three full bathrooms mean mornings run smoothly even for larger groups. Room-darkening shades, a safe, walk-in closet and closet storage, and hangers are provided throughout.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to full group dinners. A Frigidaire refrigerator, Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, Frigidaire single oven, microwave, dishwasher, and Keurig coffee maker are all on hand. Cooking basics, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, a toaster, and a baking sheet round out the setup. A dining table brings everyone together, and the balcony works just as well for a quiet meal with a view.
Outdoor living
The shared backyard gives guests access to a year-round outdoor pool - open 24 hours, heated from October through February, and stocked with pool toys. Outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill make the patio area a natural gathering spot between outings.
Amenities
In-unit washer and dryer, central air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, a dedicated workspace (in a room with a door), and an Ethernet connection keep practical needs covered. Families traveling with little ones will find a pack 'n play/travel crib and a folding high chair available upon request, along with babysitter recommendations. Safety features include exterior security cameras, a Ring camera on the exterior door, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. Self check-in via smart lock makes arrival easy, and long-term stays are available for guests needing 28 days or more.

The condo sits steps from the Endymion parade route and a short walk from the Canal Streetcar - connecting you to the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street, and beyond. Trader Joe's, the Lafitte Greenway bike path, and major hospitals are all close by, making this a genuinely convenient base whether you're here for festival season, a family trip, or an extended stay.
