Harbour Heights - 4 camas - capacidad para 8 personas. Impresionantes vistas, piscina y fabulosos acabados.

Esta propiedad ubicada en el centro, a pocos minutos tanto de la capital en el lado sur como de las impresionantes playas de la costa norte, ofrece una vista panorámica de Road Harbour, el canal Sir Francis Drake y una gran cantidad de islas en el exterior.

Harbour Heights ha sido completamente reconstruido y suntuosamente amueblado después de los huracanes Irma y María en septiembre de 2017 y abrimos para nuestros primeros huéspedes el 22 de febrero de 2018. La propiedad duerme cómodamente ocho personas. Seis duermen en la casa principal y dos en una habitación separada en el nivel de la piscina. Cada habitación tiene vista al mar y la habitación principal también tiene su propio balcón.

Esta villa está amueblada a un estándar muy alto con una cocina moderna completa con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y equipada para satisfacer las necesidades de los chefs más exigentes.

Perfect Vacation

The Perfect Vacation. Stunning Views. Big House. Great service. Stayed at Harbour Heights with extended family and had an amazing time. Mark and Heather went out of the their way to provide great information from before the trip and right until we left. The house was very clean and stocked with towels, soaps, pantry items, even beer and wine! The house was 5-minutes away from the closest beach Trunk Bay, which was stunning. We were the only people on the beach and felt like we were in Pirates of the Caribbean. It was also 5-minutes to town, which was convenient for going to dinner. The kids spent a lot of time in the pool, which was perfect at the end of a long beach/boating day. Look forward to coming back next year.

Fabulous start to our sailing trip

Cannot say enough good things about this property -- exceeded expectations on all fronts. Very much appreciate staying only one night but wish it could have been longer (part of a sailing team that embarked around BVIs for 10 days). The house is spacious and comfortable for at least 6-8 people. Each room nicely appointed with tropical furniture, small touches (iPAD connections, Bluetooth, beach towels, charcoal grill) and plenty of space to curl up for solo reading without appearing "distant" or aloof. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, utensils., etc. Bedrooms all facing the water. The most memorable part was the drive up the steep hill -- make sure you can shift into low gear! The nighttime swim with the twinkling lights below was heavenly; every angle a photo-op. A special "thank you" to Heather for all her help prior to arriving and tips on local provisioning and Tom who escorted us up the mountain, snapped photos for us and allowed us a few extra hours the following morning before we departed on our charter boat. It was a treat to stay in this lovely, hillside home.

Tortola is basically one big mountain so wherever you go there are hills. Whilst a bit of a shock to some at first, most people quickly get used to them and find it fun driving here. Hopefully we will welcome you back in the future for a longer stay.

Rodent problem.

The home owners are wonderful people who do all they can to make sure your visit is enjoyable. However, I did not have the most pleasant stay due to what appeared to be a rat problem. We initially saw signs of animal presence, such as feces from a small animal, but assumed that it was a gecko or some other benign critter on this beautiful Caribbean island. The very first night the signs became as clear as the waters that surround the BVI's, when we came home from dinner to find some of our food eaten through. Mark was very apologetic and assisted us in trying to remedy the problem. It just made everyone at the house very nervous to leave their belongings on the floor or eat. Again, the owners are great but I could not leave a stellar review due to catching two large rats on the property.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, due to the temperatures and general environment in the Caribbean rodents can and do live here in Tortola and are attracted into houses if garbage or food is left out. Please be assured that this one off problem, that we had no knowledge about until alerted by our guest, has been completely remedied. We have had several groups of guests since including a group who have stayed for a few weeks and have had no problems whatsoever. Many people here put rat poison in their yards but this has resulted in the deaths of several dogs and cats. Being animal lovers it is not something we feel want to do. However, we have taken other steps to prevent a repeat of this unfortunate incident.

Wonderful property.

Very wonderful property with a great view of Road Town. Heather was very accommodating and was a pleasure to work with. The property has everything that you need to have a pleasant relaxing stay. The only reason that I rated the location and neighborhood a 4 was the noisy motorcycles traveling the road in front of the property, which is out of the property owners control.

Thanks for your review Brett. The motorcylces are pretty much everywhere in Tortola at the moment so as you say, it is beyond our control. The bedrooms are fully AC'd so with the windows closed, there really isn't much noise at all, if any.

Excellent view and with a car good location. First time driving on the left and found it very easy to adjust. House was great for our crew. Very spacious. I would highly recommend this house.

Harbor Heights Tortola

Beautiful views with lovely breezes. Central location makes any outing accessible. Heather is delightful and helped with excellent day trip suggestions. Spent one day just at the house floating in the pool, enjoying the views. Be prepared for challenging driving on the island, but that is true of any location rented on Tortola.

WoW!! Very nice house !!

This Is a very nice and clean house!! Not fare from the marina!! Heather was a very good help for the check in and transportation contact!!! The only little surprise was when I came to confirm the rental for six people they’re was a addition fees !! The rental price listed is for 2!!! Even if the listing said sleep 8 persons in 4 rooms!! I rented a couple of a house by VRBO with my family and this is the first time that I got those fees!! Other than that I would recommend that place again!!!

Thanks for your review, we are really happy that you enjoyed the house. In regard to the rate, like virtually every large house in the BVI, the base rate is for two guests and each additional guest is charged a nominal sum to cover the cost of laundry and utilities, which in BVI are very very expensive. VRBO structures the way the rate is advertised. Some villas tend to price as though all beds are used and might offer a discount for a smaller group. We, like most others here, set a rate for two guests and charge a nominal sum to cover the extra costs incurred of a group using several bedrooms. It would not have been a surprise to you, you would have seen the breakdown before you clicked 'book now'. As I said, I am happy you enjoyed the stay and glad you would recommend Harbour Heights.

Great Place to stay in BVI!

This was an amazing house with great views and location. Thank you for your hospitality. This was a group of 8, 4 married couples in our mid thirties, and this was exactly enough space for all of us. Note, not having AC is a complete NON ISSUE! When you’re in the hills the breeze feels just like AC. We just kept the windows open and it felt great inside, even in 90 degree weather. We would definitely stay here again. Worth the money!

The view

There were 7 of us in our group and the house was perfect! My daughter and her that has been married for a year got the downstairs suite and swimming pool. They loved it. We cooked a lot at the house during our stay and had all we needed to do so. Joe ( Mark and Heather’ s son)took care of us during our stay and did a great job. This home is unbelievably beautiful! It is only 5 minutes from town. It has no air conditioner but we went in September 13-16 and the house was so comfortable. We all slept great at night. Even cooking in the kitchen was not bad. We enjoyed all the breeze with the doors open. The home is all updated and VERY clean. No lie, pick this one!!!!😀👍🏻 Melissa from Texas

Amazing View

There were a group of 7 of us in this property. We were very comfortable and had plenty of room. We loved the amazing view from the house. We used the pool and thought it was a perfect size for cooling off. Heather was extremely friendly and was willing to help us with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone considering. Also - would definitely stay here again if ever in Tortola again!

Mountain Paradise

We stayed at Harbour Heights for three days after sailing in the BVI. The villa was stunning. Views of the ocean and harbor were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and spent two days at Josiah’s bay which was spectacular as we essentially had a private beach. Heather was wonderful. She met us at the Moorings and escorted us to the villa. The villa had everything you need and was well stocked. Thank you Heather and Mark for your hospitality.

Fabulous Villa - very comfortable and close to beaches

We had a great time in this beautifully finished villa, which included all the necessary household amenities to cater for our party of eight on a week-long vacation. We spent many hours in pool, we relaxed at the nearby beaches where we were the sole inhabitants and we sampled some brilliant cuisine at the local restaurants, where the service was second to none..

Yes but...

First with the positive - the hosts were amazing with recommendations of restaurants and advise. The house was clean and well kept with fantastic views. However, IF you are someone that is a light sleeper and need to a cold room when you sleep consider a location with an A/C. When I booked the house I did not note that there was not an A/C. The host shared that the winds keep the house very comfortable in the evenings, which was true however, when trying to blow dry your hair the bathroom can get quite warm without AC - In addition, there are many farm animals on the island that for the most part do not sleep at night and because you have to leave the windows open for the winds it was VERY VERY hard to sleep for all of us. Lastly, the window coverings are sheer so if you want to sleep past sunrise you will find it difficult.

Family Reunion

Harbour Heights is a delightful house with amazing views. We found it well organised and easy to access from Roadtown, it’s central location providing quick trips to Cane Garden Bay and Josiahs Bay. It’s right on the ridge road so we could get to the airport and Beef Island quickly for trips to Virgin Gorda etc. The rooms are well furnished and nicely set up, plenty of space for our family of 5. I highly recommend this place.

My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed the space which was relaxing, bright and serene. Very easy to find and parking for 6 SUV's. Panoramic views from every room and cosy interiors made for a memorable get together. Definitely will book again!

Beautiful property and great views

We stayed here after a week long charter with the Moorings and it was the perfect choice. Heather was always available for questions. The pool was great for lounging around, which was perfect after a busy week on the boat. The traffic on the street outside could get a little loud at times with cruise ship tour buses going by, but that didn’t bother us too much. I imagine most guests would be out during the day anyway so they wouldn’t even notice. Would highly recommend.

I am a business consultant, principally serving cross border financial services clients. Outside of work, family comes first and my boys, Tom, Ben and Joe respectively work in Property, Film and Professional Squash. Heather, who I have been married to for 30 years, does charity work, manages our properties and helps all of our lives run smoothly.
Additionally I spend time at Tortola Sports Club, where I play squash and I work on BVI Olympic Committee and Old Government House Museum matters as the Treasurer of both organisations.

The Chapman family, which is Mark (husband), Heather (wife), Tom, Ben and Joe (3 sons) have been involved with Harbour Heights for the past ten years. In 2016, we set about a renovation using Heather's talent for design and with help from the boys, we have produced an exquisite modern vacation villa.

Every facet of the house has been hand-picked, uniquely designed or tailor-made by one of the family members, from the 'jam'delier above the kitchen island to the spectacular gourmet kitchen. We re-designed the house for Caribbean living to take advantage of the mountain breezes with high ceilings and fans in every room to circulate the air.
