Great Getaway!!

My wife and I loved this beautiful mountain getaway!! The location was perfect. We were 25 minutes away from all of our favorite spots but yet were surrounded by nothing but quiet and calmness. We cant wait to book again!!

Best honeymoon stay!

My husband and I had an amazing time on Shell Mountain! The house was absolutely beautiful and the views were breathtaking! If I could rate this place 10 out of 5 stars I would! Very clean and welcome. We felt very comfortable and we will most definitely be back!

most incredible views I’ve ever seen. The cabin is very clean and well stocked with everything you’d need. Check in was easy and the owner was very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Can’t wait to come back

All About the Views

We have rented cabins all over North Georgia, North Carolina and East Tennessee. We have seen some pretty views doing this but nothing will ever compare to the views at this location! The owners were very helpful and responsive. We spent 9 days/8 nights here celebrating our 30 Anniversary and could not have picked a better place. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful getaway!!

The views were spectacular as promised!! It was really high up the mountain, the switch backs were a little intense (I have a fear of heights) but oh my goodness, the peacefulness was amazing. The owners were very kind, you’ll not be disappointed by picking this property.

Worth the drive up the mountain!

We stayed a week at the cabin and the view was awesome! The cabin itself was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed. The road up the mountain was steep and curvy, but so worth the view! I had to work a bit while here, so I set up my laptop outside on the porch with that wonderful view and I was set! The internet cut out once while there, but the owners immediately helped us out with resetting it so I was up and running in just a few minutes, they were very helpful and kind.

Beautiful cabin/Beautiful view

The cabin is just great! Clean, up to date decor and furnishings. The bed is super comfortable. All the small things you could think of are there. Night light, hand soap, paper towels, dish soap, etc. The cabin over looks the mountain valley with chairs, swing, benches in any direction you want to sit and enjoy the changing view. Once you are there you really don’t want to leave, ever.

Winter Honeymoon!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet, beautiful, romantic getaway for our honeymoon. We chose this beautiful place off of the amazing reviews we read. Well, i can say from experience, we were more than blown away by our stay. The view is breathe taking!! The cabin itself is beautiful and had an abundance of things we usually would have to go out and buy. It was really more then we could have asked for. On top of everything, Kristina and her husband were very professional, and made sure we were well taken care of! We are looking forward to going back summer of 2019 !!

Spectacular views, absolutely perfect romantic getaway

This property is advertised incorrectly. The views are not breathtaking. They are absolutely stunning and completely unbelievable. This was the best vacation and most romantic getaways we as a couple have ever experienced. The only thing I would have changed was the length of time. A longer stay was needed. The view of the mountains in the morning are unforgettable and star gazing at night is a must. Do yourself a favor and rekindle your relationship here. You won’t regret one second of it.

Smokies Best Kept Secret

First, you must know the pictures are real and not doctored. Every moment of the day is great to sit on the porch or inside on the couch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine while watching the mountain views constantkly change as the sun's rays chase across the mountains. We loved that Chris and Kristina provided a week's supply of Tide laundry pods, dishwasher detergent and quality toliet paper. I know it might seem small but after renting many cabins in the Smokies I have never seen one stocked so well and with quality products. They have thought of every detail. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and the beds were comfortable. What we enjoyed most was that it is quiet and not surrounded by other cabins while being close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to enjoy the activities. Thanks Chris and Kristina for a true mountain vacation. Definitely will be staying again as this is the Smokies best kept secret!

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEW and GORGEOUS HOME!

This view will literally take your breath away...it is so majestic! The house is lovely in every way...whether you are having a cup of tea on the deck, or watching night fall from the living room sofa, it is all just wonderful! From the moment we walked into the front door we were in awe! The house is just so perfect...the beds are comfy, the towels plush and the owners are left wonderful touches throughout...coffee, tea, etc for breakfast, and maps/guides to the Smokey's, which was so helpful! The whole place is spotless...which makes staying there even better! The only draw back for me was the drive up to the house...about 3/4 mile of a steep, winding mountain road with no guard rails! My husband did all the driving, but it was still a bit scary for me. But it is WELL WORTH that small consolation! The views are so magical...at times it didn't seem real. looking at awe inspiring Smokey Mountains!

Never a Bad Day Waking Up to Those Views

Although we weren’t at the house much for our trip to Tennessee, we loved it! I sat every morning in complete awe of the views. The sunrise from the deck is breathtaking and my camera roll on my phone will tell you so. I couldn’t take enough pictures. The only thing I would suggest… and this is because during our stay there were 80 MPH winds up on the mountains (no exaggeration either)… the hot tub cover continued to fly off and to try and open the door to strap it back on was a bit scary. (especially with no power) My husband suggested maybe putting the brackets on the deck more to the corners of the hot tub so you could criss cross the straps to hold the cover on better. We tried criss crossing them where they currently are and it didn’t work and it really didn’t work straight across as it continued to blow off all night. Just a suggestion. Regardless of the crazy winds, we had an amazing experience! The memories we created are priceless!!

Mountain getaway

This was our second stay at this beautiful mountain house, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. Perched at the top of a mountain in Tennessee, the views are absolutely breathtaking. The house is peaceful, cozy, and, most importantly for us, completely fragrance-free, which is a huge plus since I have allergies. It’s hard to find places that truly honor that, and we’re so grateful this one does. We only stayed two days, but it was the perfect little escape. We love it and will definitely be back again!
