Tradewinds es un rascacielos ubicado en la hermosa Orange Beach, arenas blancas y una hermosa vista panorámica del Golfo, desde la sala de estar y las dos habitaciones. Esta es una unidad de esquina en el séptimo piso, lejos del ascensor y al final de la pasarela. ¡Las unidades de esquina '05 stack '(más deseable) tienen un gran balcón frontal del golfo desde el que puede disfrutar del amanecer y el atardecer!

Ya sea que disfrute de las compras, salir a cenar, jugar al golf, pescar en alta mar o la vida nocturna, Tradewinds está convenientemente ubicado para cualquier actividad que disfrute. (Por cierto, a poca distancia de 'Live Bait'). Al otro lado de la calle de Adventure Island Arcade, karts y video. La cubierta de la piscina junto a la playa está a solo unos pasos de la hermosa playa de arena blanca. La unidad es de aproximadamente 1,000 pies cuadrados y está decorada con buen gusto.

Great location!

This was a great condo! Everything work perfectly. It’s in a good location. It had a musty smell when we first arrived but it was probably from just being closed up for a while. We loved it and will definitely stay again!!

Who could not love being right on the Gulf of America! Our view was great, our condo was well equipped & comfortable. Located in a nice area with plenty of stores & restaurants & things to do.

I've stayed at quite a few condos, and for the price, this was the worst. We had a great time at the beach, which is your backyard. But we were disappointed with the cleanliness. The furniture was not comfortable. The kitchen supplies were limited at best. The crock pot was broken, the dishwasher came off the tracks every time you pulled the rack out. We were very thankful for washer and dryer! The balcony was nice!

I don't want this published. As I don't want to leave a negative review. But the apartment was not cleaned. All the dishes had to be washed before we could use them. The kitchen setup was a little lackluster even though we knew the apartment would be small. The sheets were inside out and barely on the bed and I could swear there was sand in it. The floors were not clean. Our feet were actually dirty from walking on the floor and you could feel grit. So it could be a cute apartment, anything matched if it didn't look like it came from a garage sale. All of the furniture and bedding. So as I said, I really don't like to leave a negative review. But I cannot leave a positive one. This was way too much money to spend on a shoddy apartment that is not updated.

Cannot beat the view!

We stayed here in Oct 2022 and again May 2023. Both times the place has been very clean and well stocked! The view is perfect and we plan to be back again in October 23!

Enjoyed our stay

Had a nice stay. No issues other than toilet paper holder fell off when it was touched. No big deal. Family enjoyed the area and facility.

Beach Vacay

We enjoyed our stay here. The balcony and the beach view were awesome! The bed was comfy. Condo could use a good deep clean, but I suspect it's difficult to keep them perfectly spotless with different families in and out every week, and we would definitely stay at this condo again! Easy beach access. Parking was never an issue. Close to everything we wanted to do outside of the beach. This was our second time staying at the Tradewinds, and both times we have enjoyed our stay! Thank you!!

Great Vacation

It was our first trip to Orange Beach. A friend recommended we go. We could be not have picked a better property to rent. John answered any questions we had quickly. It was a great place to stay with a wonderful gulf view and a short walk to o the beach. Great places to eat were within a short drive or walking distance. We had a great vacation.

Great condo with a perfect location and beautiful views!!

John’s condo was the perfect place for our family vacation this year. Nothing better than starting your day with a cup of coffee while sitting on the balcony looking at the Gulf of Mexico. The building was very quiet, which was impressive seeing how we were there during the heart of Spring Break season. Location was perfect too - only a few minutes from several grocery stores, as well as a plethora of great dining options. Flora-Bama was only a 10 minute drive due East of us. Will definitely be staying again! Thanks John!!

We loved everything about this property except for a few cleanliness issues. Both shower curtains had lots of mold on them. Otherwise, it was very nice.

No sheets for the pullout couch, shower liner in main bathroom had mold in inside corner, found old socks when we pulled out the couch overall not very clean! Need TV in the second bedroom!

Beautiful view

Nice clean place to stay, beautiful view of the ocean. Only issue with the unit was the bathroom light in the main bedroom would flicker and sometimes go all the way out ( only one bulb) but eventually came back on . And the curtain rod going out to the balcony looks like it had fallen and hung back wrong so it was lower on the side you had to shut the door on. Making the curtains in your way

A few updates needed

The property was nice but there were a couple issues that could be fixed easily. The bed in the master bedroom had a broken roller at the foot of the bed causing the mattress to lay lopsided. The water pressure was not great. Other than that, I’d recommend a stay. The owner responded quickly when an issue with the pool code arose.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom was very loud. It was on the same switch as the light so you could not turn it off without the light going off also. Quite petty, but annoying!

FILTHY

This place was FILTHY!!! It had not been swept or mopped. The dirt was unbelievable. The dust on everything was crazy. The ceiling fans were covered in dust. There was black mold in the a/c vent in the bathroom and growing on the wall in the bathroom. I happened to make the mistake of checking under the bed before we left to see if I left anything behind, let’s just say I am glad I did not look sooner it was so gross. I have rented places for MANY years and have never seen anything this bad.

Worst Stay in 3 years of staying in Orange Beach

We’ve had no communication other than we’ve paid. I had to ask for an address and Condo # so we knew where to drive to from Pensacola. We come from Ohio every year. This is our third year here. Poor communication. He was friendly once he reached out but took a while for me to get a hold of him. The condo wasn’t clean. Our feet were black after we all showered and walked to the couch. The dishwasher overflowed using their dishwasher detergent. The dryer took 2 full cycles to dry clothes. The last night, we found roaches running across the floor after we came back from a day out. Worst stay I’ve ever had. Very disappointed. The owner failed to reach out to me after me sending him pictures of the bugs. He had no reply.

Great view of beach

Upon arrival we noticed that the condo facility had 1 partially functioning elevator, it would only let you off on first floor and then you had to take steps to ground. We brought that to the attention of security and the female security officer blew us off and said she was already aware of this. Four days later that elevator still had not been repaired, and congestion of guests coming and going on each floor was getting worse, not to mention the second elevator went down completely forcing guests to use stairwells. I had also noticed that the elevator maintenance had expired two months prior, yet management didn’t seem concerned. Day five of our stay I was ready to leave if elevators weren’t repaired. Two of my daughter’s are expecting, so taking seven flights of stairs constantly was just unreasonable and tiring. I immediately brought this to condo owner and told him I was leaving if he didn’t get help from HOA immediately. Also, the condo is very small, and to say it sleeps six, is stretching it. Yes, there is a sleeper sofa, but it needs replacing and mattress was filthy. We used an air mattress instead and we were extremely crowded. There’s only one sofa that seats 3 and a hard wicker chair that is most uncomfortable. To be quite honest, the condo needs major updating throughout including washer/dryer and refrigerator. The condo was also dirty upon arrival, sofa cushions looked like a child with sandy feet had been jumping on it, and owner was notified immediately.

The view was AMAZING, the condo was needing some TLC

The check in was super easy. The property has carts to use as well as huge bags of ice in a vending machine. Heated swimming pool is really nice and the board walk has showers to rinse off the sand. Also of note: the windows and doors on the outside of the property are study and sound proof. I give 5 stars to the property. Now for the actual condo: The view from the higher floor is spectacular, straight on view of the water. The inside of the condo welcomes you with a nose full of mold smell. Not just beach smell, mold. We searched for the culprit and found the ceiling above the guest bath was covered in mold and the drywall was falling in a little. (Kids refused to use that shower.) I contacted the owner who claimed he had just been there and had the building management fix the leak from above. We did not call him back once we found the other leaks and dirty conditions . We figured if he was just there, he knows how dirty it is. The master bath behind the moldy shower also had standing water behind the toilet, could be from the water source that was molding the ceiling but the toilet was also dripping. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking but the dishwasher was old, very noisy and the bottom drawer was missing wheels. The place sleeps six, but only if you use the pull out sofa. Sofa was very dirty, stained and has never been cleaned under. Opening up the sofa bed revealed so much trash. Gross. The master bed was super soft (like ‘don’t get in it alone- you might need help getting out’ -soft) Once you sink down into the mattress, the fitted sheets come off revealing a dirty, blood stained mattress pad. It was chilly in Nov, so we pulled out the extra blanket from the closet and was also dirty and stained. Master bedroom has 2 windows with tons of light. Curtains were falling off the second window, so we didn’t open that blind. Bathrooms and living room all has A/C vents with more mold that I’ve ever seen. Not sure it’s ever been cleaned. Ceiling fans were covered in dust. The best part was the night before we left, we ran some laundry since we were only half way through our vacation. Washer works, but dryer heating element doesn’t work, so we had run each load through the dryer 3 times before they eventually dried. We have stayed at more than a dozen or so properties all over the US. This one takes the award for being the dirtiest, but also the best view.

Having owned several properties on the beach, this one is by far is the best. Located in beautiful Orange Beach, close to everything you will need and expect while vacationing on the beautiful white sands of LA (Lower Alabama). Convenient to all the golf courses in Gulf Shores, Foley and Perdido Key!!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The parking lot here is by permit only and is plenty large enough to accomodate the complex. The view of the swimming pool from the balcony, and of the beach and gulf is top of the line. Since Hurricane Ivan, the complex has undergone major renovations and improvements which have enhanced everything about the building and the amenities.
