Cabin Review

We just needed a place to sleep while visiting friends in the area. We were gone during the days when we were there. Fit the bill for a place to crash for the week.

The cabin was clean. Problem was our coffeemaker boiled over first night. Told property owner and she said that happens. So we had to get up and drive to get coffee every morning. Which wouldn’t have been too bad but due to construction street is one way in front of cabin so you have to go around the lake. So it took 25 minutes every morning.

Getaway cabin

We came to experience Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes .. we needed a clean comfortable place that was quiet for our evenings. This place was perfect. They have bigger cabins if your looking to spend time at your cabin and the lake that is on location. Becky was delightful and has everything you need there. No complaints at all!

Overpriced through VRBO

It's a very pretty area, cabins are very cute & Becky was absolutely wonderful. I do think though the one I stayed in should have different window coverings because the light shines through the window all night. I think it's a great place to stay, I was just very disappointed that the cost through VRBO is double what it would have been if I would have booked through the resort. the resort

Cabin in the woods!

Needed a mini vaca and we got it by staying in a quaint little cabin for 3 nites! Absolutely located in the middle of everything we had planned to do - short drive to Traverse City and just down the road to Platte River. We would walk to Ellis Lake every nite to enjoy the stars and the quiet. Thank you to Becky and the wonderful service staff(T and Mary) that made the stay so reassuring and beautiful. Even were greeted in the room witha plate of home made desserts and fresh flowers (thank you Tina!)! Will definitely stay there again if we're in the area!

Great little getaway

We loved staying at Ellis lake resorts! Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Perfect place for my husband to get out and fish every morning and my daughter loved the play area! In a great location to get out to the city and do activities as well as get anything we may have needed.

Great place for a girls or friends weekend with single and adjoining cabins! management of the property was extremely responsive for any problems we had and I really enjoyed our stay

Family friendly charm

Kathy was so hospitable and friendly. She was also probably the most prompt property manager I have ever encountered. We were greeted with homemade baked goods, fresh flowers, and a hand written card in our room from Tina the assistant manager. I love a place that treats you like a person and not just a number. We came up for our anniversary and would love to come back with the kids in the summer.

Fishing

With no more camper, I rented cabins around michigan for a week. These cabins we're great. A little pricey but we slept great those 2 nights. Thanks Becky for your kindness!
