Seclusion and Serenity es solo una de las atracciones que esta cabaña romántica ha ubicado en las montañas de Cranesville. Bienvenido a nuestro Alquiler de Cranesville (Rustic Memories): solo de 15 a 20 minutos del lago Deep Creek. Disfrute de 500 acres de país privado para unas vacaciones inolvidables. Esta cabaña rural ofrece alojamiento para dos personas con un loft (cama Queen con ropa de cama). El baño completo proporciona toallas, jabones y champús. La cocina completa tiene asientos para dos. El porche da a los campos, parches de pinos, bosques y estanques (captura y liberación) que ofrecen muchas oportunidades para observar la vida silvestre (ciervos, pavos, pájaros y ocasionalmente un oso). Tome el aire limpio del campo mientras se sumerge en la bañera de hidromasaje mirando las estrellas o mirando el paisaje rural observando la vida silvestre. Relájese por las noches con el resplandor de guerra de una fogata para asar hot dogs y malvaviscos. Se proporciona una quemadura por día de madera. Madera adicional está disponible. What a fantastic setting!! Woke up to our last day to a light fog hanging over creek that runs thru the field. As I drank my coffee on the porch I watched the morning come alive with wildlife, which was very relaxing.The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us and the host was absolutely great!

Away in the woods

Wonderful property, beautiful cabin. The pictures dont do it the justice it deserves. Lost cell signal 4miles before we got here and the address was incorrectly listed; however I forgot to check my inbox where the owner sent the correct address. Overall, wpukd HIGHLY recommend.

Anniversary stay

A wonderful location, cabin and owner!! So helpful and just as advertised. Would definitely recommend!! Although very rare in the mountains of Terra Alta, if weather is hot, no air conditioning is available, but evenings cool down enough so that the hot tub is a great amenity. The owners are readily available and so helpful and kind!!

2nd Year Wedding Anniversary

We came in when it was late, which was a fun drive, waking up the next more to the amazing Scenery was the best! We saw Deer, and wild turkeys and many birds, we drove to town for breakfast, also a nice ride, went to the local grocery store for a few things and drive back to the cabin. We also needed help learning how to turn the heater on, but this over overall an amazing experience. We plan to rent other cabins with our family. The ower is very pleasant and friendly, the cabins are amazing. Since we have been home I have recommended this place to close family and friends! There is a cute book there where guess log their stay, I didnt, I dont like my handwriting, but it was very nice to see everyones experience. 10 out of 10 for sure!!

Restful solitude at its best

This place was absolutely perfect if you want to get away from life and just “be”. Listen to the wind through the trees, watch the wildlife, take in fresh clean mountain air, just truly enjoy nature and beauty all around you while hardly ever seeing a human. The cabin is super cozy, comfortable, and well taken care of. It has windows in every direction so if it’s too chilly or windy outside you can still see absolutely everything. The front porch is perfect for morning coffee. The turkeys call to each other and the deer eat in the big open field in front of you. There are plenty of walking opportunities around the cabin itself on the dirt road that you drive in on. Streams, ponds, pine forests - just beauty everywhere. It’s a perfect place to recharge, reconnect, and relax. And sing some John Denver - as how can you not in this spot which is literally “almost Heaven - West Virginia” We can’t wait to go back!!!! Thank you to the owners for sharing your perfect spot!!!

Beautiful property

Spent five days at rustic memories and made some of the best memories. Great hiking nearby great sites. Very quiet very tranquil! Had a minor issue with getting the heat started (My problem I didn't know how) Owner was immediately available to help but wasn't needed as we got it started. Would definitely stay there again and will.

Christmas Week Getaway

Annual Christmas-week cabin getaway for me and my husband. We always choose a remote cabin to rent for solitude and trails through the woods. We found both here. Very clean and fresh-smelling upon arrival. Hot tub was relaxing after long hikes. Enjoyed watching the birds at the bird feeder. Excellent water pressure and hot water in the shower. Just wish it had more of a fireplace-type heater. We knew it was going to be gas burning, but the fixture in the wall was not what was advertised. Kept the cabin very warm, though—just not very esthetically pleasing for curling up and reading by the fire. Could have used a couple of reading lamps by the couch, too. Overall, pleasant trip!

This cabin is located in a nicely secluded area in Alta Terra, WV. If you are seeking full privacy minus the deer family onlookers, this place is for you! Cozy and warm, perfect for two lovers. Two big thumbs up! 👍 we will be returning.

Weekend away

My wife and I just wanted to get away, and we choose the right place. So peaceful and secluded saw all kinds of wildlife. Very clean and the host Laura was great.

Beautiful Setting

My husband I spent the weekend to celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary. The property was absolutely beautiful and secluded, the perfect setting to get away from the day to day grind. We enjoyed watching all of the wildlife and star gazing in the hot tub! The cabin was gorgeous and had everything we needed. It was very clean and cozy. 10/10 recommend!!

Perfect getaway

This cabin was exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway. It was quiet and private. We loved sitting on the porch watching the deer. The cabin was very comfortable for the two of us. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin.

Great WV hideaway

The best and most relaxing romantic getaway!

My husband and I rented Laura's place to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. It was the most charming, comfy, relaxing place to get away from it all! It is remote but not so remote that you can't drive 20 minutes to grab some food. I would not recommend riding a motorcycle there as the road is a bit rough getting to it. We trailered our side by side and rode it on the roads and trails that Laura had given us directions to. So much wildlife to see, take binoculars! The hot tub was a perfect way to end each night before we retired in to the comfy bedding. The breeze that came through the holler all day was amazing, especially in the mornings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a meal, just take some foil, charcoal for the grill, your own coffee (coffee filters supplied), spices and ice and you are good to go. Highly recommend to couples wanting to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle! Definitely will return during the fall or winter to get a different mood at the property. Laura's properties are amazing all around, A++++++!

Beautiful location for a cabin

Very beautiful property with lots of wild life. The cabin rental was very clean and cozy. Would recommend this to couples for a getaway for relaxation and quiet time!

Relaxing Fall getaway

I was so lucky to find this charming cabin for a quickly planned getaway during the popular fall season. The views all around were beautiful and it was so peaceful. The cabin has everything you could need for a comfortable stay and modern luxuries (cable and wifi, lol)... We enjoyed Mountain State Brewery nearby for delicious flatbread pizzas. This cabin is a bit of a drive to stores and restaurants so plan accordingly and bring what you need. We drove back from the brewery at night and GPS did not work well so we stayed in for dinner the next night! This is also about an hour from Fallingwater which was very cool to see. We were very happy with our stay and you will be too! Book now!

A much more unique and better memory than staying at a hotel

The property and land are great. It felt very relaxing to know that we had more neighbors who were deer than people. Would definitely stay here again if I wanted a place to unplug from the world (but still has satellite tv and internet when I need it). Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway

I'm not one to write reviews, but we stayed 2 nights and I rebooked before I left. It was the perfect romantic getaway. If I could change anything I would put a dishwasher in because I'm lazy. Other than that 10/10 recommend. Also bring bug repellent. It's surrounded by woods.
