Pompano beach property
The property looks nice on the web site, but not everything worked right. The onsite staff was wonderful. The sheets were wonderful. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything said in the next unit - which included sex and domestic violence. The place was within walking distance of good bars and restaurants. The door to the bathroom could not be shut tight. The bathroom is tiny. Cell phone coverage was not good. The windows in the front were broken. I guess you get what you pay for, and this place was a lot less than others listed for the same time, but you could get a place at the Marriott a block away that included breakfast for the same price. Norm, his son, the maintenance man and the cleaning lady all tried hard to make everything better, and they did, but it is hard to recommend this place unless you were on a real budget. There was no dishwasher, and there was no trash can. The towels were very thin. I sent an email to the property manager at 3 am because of the disturbance in the next unit. I heard nothing back. I tried to call the police but was unable to get cell phone coverage. So the first night I did not feel safe but the neighbors moved out and things calmed down. The location was convenient for a lot of things.
