Welcome to La Soliniere
It is our great joy to welcome you to La Soliniere, our lovingly restored 18th-century estate nestled in the heart of Poitou-Charentes. What was once a historic domaine is today a place of gathering, where history and comfort blend seamlessly to create moments you will treasure.
Here, amidst sunflower fields and open countryside, life slows down. The courtyard, at the very heart of the estate, invites you to share meals, laughter, and quiet conversations. Whether you are here for a restful retreat, a family reunion, or a joyous celebration, we hope you feel the warmth and spirit of fellowship that defines La Soliniere.
During your visit, if we are not around, our resident manager will be happy to assist you with any questions or requests. Please feel free to reach out to him directly, and if you need me personally, I am available via WhatsApp.
Our wish is simple: that you find here a sanctuary to relax, a place to connect with loved ones, and a setting to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.
With warm regards,
Reggie and Joëlle

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
This charming stone-walled estate perfectly reflects the character of the neighborhood. As you wander through the quiet village, you’ll notice that stone houses define its unique atmosphere. The entire setting transports you back in time, giving you the feeling that life moves at a gentler pace—without rush or urgency.
Leaving the village via Rue de la Mairie, your view opens onto expansive farmland and sweeping sunflower fields. The road is quite flat, making it ideal for cycling, roller skating (especially with children), or simply enjoying a peaceful walk. Along with the many nearby biking and walking paths, it offers a perfect escape for anyone seeking tranquility and a break from the busyness of everyday life.
While you’re here, enjoy all those classic French clichés: delicious food, good wine, long lunches, cozy vibes, space, peace, nature—wild or idyllic—and that unmistakable French feeling. Yes, this is it. This is exactly the French dream we’re chasing, and we highly recommend everyone dive in and experience it for themselves.
