Charming English Tudor nestled under South Table Mesa

Located in the historic neighborhood of Golden at the base of the South Table Mesa, on a quiet street within walking distance of downtown Golden, hiking trails, grocery stores and the School of Mines. Privately enclosed backyard surrounded by gardens is the perfect place to relax! Front porch grape arbor gives privacy for sipping that morning cup of coffee, also surrounded by gardens! Come enjoy!

Our fully furnished three bedroom, two bathroom home offers all the beauty and tranquility of a peaceful retreat. The living room is cozy with a fireplace and large screen TV. The open-design kitchen/dining room with bar area offers guests ample room to socialize. Granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The patio features a covered porch swing with plenty of seating. Our backyard offers lots of privacy! While there is a hot tub shown in the photos, this is not offered as an amenity. The two bedrooms each have a queen size bed and share a bathroom recently renovated with glass tile. The living room furniture is all new and there is new carpet as well. We are a non-smoking home and no pets allowed.

Golden is truly a great place to visit and offers something for everyone! The outdoors offers pedestrian/bike/kayak-friendly Clear Creek to hiking and climbing the mesas and mountains. Fossil Trace Golf Course is just around the corner. If you’re a foodie, you’ll find dining restaurants, breweries, distilleries, cafes and taverns all within walking distance of our home. You’ll also find one-of-a-kind shopping, galleries and museums for you history buffs!

Perfect!

We are two couples who visited Golden to hit a Red Rocks concert and explore the area. This home is perfect. Well supplied with bath and kitchen products, great location right near a hiking trail in a cute neighborhood, and with owners who were very friendly and responsive. We loved staying here!

Great house in a great location

The Charming tutor is exactly that, but also very cozy and comfortable with beds and bedding, a well stocked kitchen, great hang out space and a walk to all the shops, restaurants and hikes. Steam shower a bonus after a hike/bike

Perfect place in Golden Colorado

This was the perfect place to stay for my son's graduation from Mines! Walkable to grocery store (2 blocks) short walk to downtown Golden, Mines campus, Clear Creek and Table Mountain Trail. On a quiet beautiful street! The home was very tastefully decorated, comfy beds and well stocked. Wish we had found this home 4 years ago as it's the best place we have stayed during 4 years of visiting my son.

The Golden Home

Everything was perfect. Great neighborhood. I can’t say enough about how well the kitchen was stocked. It is a top notch place to stay.

Great home, great location

Had a great trip to Golden. Property had everything needed. Great communication with the host. Location was an easy walk to the shops and restaurants downtown. Easy drive to Red Rocks. Would definitely book again.

Home away from home

The location of this well appointed and comfortable home is perfect for exploring the town of Golden’s shops and restaurants as well as the many surrounding trails and parks. We found nothing lacking for a relaxing winter stay and hope to find a way to come to enjoy the lovely private back yard in warmer weather.

Nice amenities. Great location.

Within a minutes walk of downtown Golden and wonderful hiking trails, this location allowed for flexibility without planning out car trips. Also very good location for Red Rocks concerts as it is only a 20 minute car ride. The porch area is very nice for relaxing throughout the day. Well stocked kitchen with new appliances makes it nice to eat in if needed.

Wonderful Stay in Golden

Our stay at this lovely home in Golden, after Christmas, exceeded all of our expectations! The location was perfect & the amenities were amazing. We have family in Morrison who we visit after Christmas most years. I’ve already shared the link to this property with some of the other out-state family members, who travel to Morrison & Golden frequently. Would recommend this property to anyone! Clean, comfortable and close to the historic downtown.

This house was perfect for our needs. It was clean and comfortable and had a lot of nice touches (the master bath with a steam shower and soaking tub was great). The house is withing walking distance to a grocery story and is about a 15 minute walk to Golden's historic district. We also enjoyed the sitting on the cute back patio. Check in and out was easy.

Great location

House is nice and clean. A lot of programmable devices. Property manager was very quick and easy to communicate with! Nice large fenced yard and grill. Master bed and bath very nice and updated.

Best Stay Ever!

We are from Colorado but live in SC. We found this little nugget on VRBO unbelievable. We will stay here every time we visit if they will have us. Just a skip from The golden restaurants and shopping. The vibe that this house sends is amazing. All the amenities you could hope for and more. Cindy was awesome and very responsive.

Beautiful and cozy respite

This rental property absolutely fit the bill for a terrific vacation. Close to town and at the confluence of highways to Denver and to the mountains, location was ideal. Unlike a ski condo, this is a roomy vintage family house complete with modern appliances, sturdy equipment, and thoughtful details and supplies. Communication with owner was prompt, friendly and efficient. A jewel.

Fantastic Place in Golden

I can’t recommend this property enough. The house is beautifully appointed and super comfortable. Cindy was an extremely helpful host and everything was perfect! The location can’t be beat-close to everything in Golden and easy access to all surrounding areas. And as a bonus, it’s steps away from some great hiking trails in the South Table Mesa park. I should also say that the fenced yard was perfect for our dog!! We will definitely return. Thanks so much!!

Beautiful spacious home on quiet street close to downtown Golden

I stayed at Cindy's house for Memorial day weekend with my husband and two teenage children. The house was beautiful, spacious and immaculately clean. The master bedroom was especially luxurious with large tub, rain shower and mountain views. We enjoyed being on a quiet street so close to downtown Golden. The well landscaped yard was private; my daughter loved the swing and it was relaxing to eat breakfast outside. Checkin & checkout were super simple. We didn't get a chance to cook but the kitchen looked well equipped. I would definitely return next time we're in Golden - highly recommend! I was also excited the house is dog friendly so we have option to bring the dog next time.

Amazing, best rental ever

We’ve done a lot of traveling and have stayed in vacation rentals around the world. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the most pleasant, best-equipped, coziest place we’ve ever rented. There’s a grocery store a block away, the Coors brewery is one block more (if you’re into that kind of thing), and there’s a functioning fireplace. The beds are fabulous (especially master bedroom - what a treat), the kitchen is well stocked and good for hosting friends, and there are tons of extra blankets and pillows in the house. Smart apps on both TVs, lovely bathrooms - I’m hard-pressed to think of something we wanted but didn’t have. Thank you so much for the hospitality; we will certainly stay here again next time we’re in town.

Beautiful home with a few issues

Beautifully updated older home with beautiful furnishings. Location is great, a short walk to historic center. Close to the college campus. Overall a very nice place. Lots of high end/high tech features, some of which we needed to read a users manual for or look up on You tube, not what I really wanted to spend my vacation time doing. There were 6 pages of dos and don’ts, which was a bit much for me and my husband. Unfortunately for us, the master bed was a little too soft or something. We woke up with back aches every morning. And all the pillows in the house were flat or lumpy. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom, though!

Fantastic home

My husband and I, along with my elderly parents, were visiting out son for Mines graduation and new job celebration. What a find! Convenient location to downtown, SPACIOUS, warm and comfortable accommodations, updated/modern master br and bath upstairs. Offered great privacy because of the separated bedroom layout. Great kitchen! Walking distance to grocery store.. It was just perfect and Cindy was so accommodating and welcoming. Just a fabulous hostess, so easy to work with. She was very nice in providing us use of the garage for a minimal rate since my elderly parents could not easily maneuver the steep front steps. Backyard was a dream oasis! We would highly recommend!

Ideal home and location

From the get go, communication with the host was superb. Home was super clean and had everything you need for entertainment, cooking, and relaxing….. fenced in back yard, comfortable furnishings and bedding, spa like master suite with steam shower and whirlpool tub. The list goes on and on. Location was convenient to all Golden has to offer. Highly recommend!

We felt comfortable and welcome the minute we arrived. Located on a lovely quiet street. This beautiful home is convenient to everything in Historical Golden and provides easy access to other areas. Clean, tastefully decorated, well appointed kitchen and more. This will be our permanent Golden VRBO home away from home.

Everything they advertised and more

Location, house, amenities all perfect. We were able to walk downtown. Short drive to many attractions and hikes. We enjoyed the backyard. We had an itinery for the six days but would of also enjoyed just staying at the house.

Our daughter lives on property so she is on-site if you need anything during your stay. She has her own private space and does not share any of the common areas. She's very quiet and respectful as well.
