3 Bedroom 2 Bath with 2 hotel style rollaway cots to comfortably sleep up to 8 people

We had a great weekend at sunrise cabin. David is a wonderful host. He was very informative and even baked us a batch of cookies. The cabin is as close to the water as you can get; making the hot tub even more relaxing looking directly at mountains and Hudson River. You will learn how the cabin got its name when you watch the amazing sunrise.

Had a great thanksgiving vacation we had everything we needed to cook our dinner .super cozy with a nice deck with a beautiful view of river very quiet and relaxing , also an amazing hottub! David the owner was great , had cookies waiting when we arrived keep sidewalk shoveled and salted , left a snow brush for our truck much appreciated !! Thank you !! The Drew’s

David was an incredible host. We fished, we had a camp fire, and we spent time in their awesome hot tub. It was a very nice experience. The cookies were an added bonus.

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give! Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house is beautifully built, extremely clean and had everything you could ever need - even those things you didn't think you would need!The neighborhood is quiet and private, the view breathtaking and relaxing. Hot tub, fireplace and fire pit made for cozy evenings and early mornings.David was an amazing host - easy checkin, great local suggestions, available if needed and had homemade cookies upon arrival and homemade blueberry bread on our doorstep during our stay - neither lasted long! We will be back!

Happy on the Hudson

My sister's plus one partner and a pup gathered at The Sunrise Cabin for 5 nights to celebrate a 60th birthday. The house and location were perfect for us, providing us a scenic spot to cook and play games together, play in the water, participate in several local activities and to just relax. David was an excellent host. He is very communicative, responsive and is an excellent baker. All of his services were much appreciated by our group.

Exceeded Expectations

The calm serenity of the Hudson and the comfortable home right on its waters made an amazing base camp to hiking and town excursions to Saratoga Springs. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. David was a great host. Some of us already have plans to return.

Racecourse retreat

Everything was perfect!About a 30 minute scenic, stress free drive to Saratoga race course. Very minimal traffic to and from the races.Great large hot tub overlooking the Hudson, dock for fishing, fire pit all perfectly maintained.Of course the house was beautiful, And very important to my back, comfortable bed mattresses.David is right across the street if you have any questions.

Incredible location, right on the river

What an adorable, CLEAN, and extremely lovely place to stay. We were here for an overnight, but next time we will stay more than one night because the setting is just magical, along the river. The hosts have made sure that the whole place is extremely clean and inviting. David is a consummate host who could not have been a better communicator! Enjoyed the hot tub after a long drive. Thanks for the little touches! David, THANK YOU!

Very Relaxing!

Very nice, clean and quiet, comfy bed/pillows. Shower, not alot of pressure. Loved being directly on the water. Mr. and Mrs. Duck were very entertaining lol. Warm and cozy at the fire pit while making smores, yummy! The hot tub was very nice. Would have been much nicer had WE realized we didn't turn up the jets lol . David was such a great host. Very pleasant to speak with. Always there if you needed anything, and boy can he bake !Only downside to our stay, (April) there's pretty much nothing open. Till next time!!

Amazing

My husband and I were looking to get away and just relax for the week. David was amazing, made us baked goods twice that were delicious! We ended up having to leave early but David was very understanding. We would one hundred percent stay here again! His house was clean, accommodating and beautiful.

Winter Wonderland

This was a beautiful riverside spot that we spent a relaxing weekend in Feb. enjoying the local spa areas and using the hot tub as much as possible. David was a fantastic host and helped make the stay easy. Would recommend and keep an eye out for the bald eagle that flew by a couple times when we were there!

a Cozy Cabin MUST-stay!

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend getaway at this charming home! Despite the chilly winter weather, the house's hot tub provided the perfect way to stay warm and relaxed. The house itself is beautiful, showcasing lovely cabin features like knotty pine walls and ceilings, with an inviting electric fireplace that added to the cozy atmosphere. The combination of rustic charm and modern amenities made our stay both comfortable and memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and enjoy a winter retreat. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a relaxing and cozy escape! We'll be back in the summer to take advantage of the river and all its amenities!

Wonderful fall get away

The 6 of us had a wonderful weekend at Sunrise Cabin. David's home is beaytifully maintained and stocked! He's an amazing host responding to any questions within minutes and surprising us with treats also!!

Great 4th of July weekend stay

We had a great weekend. The host was so sweet and left us breakfast bread on the porch and the last day left cookies for the kids. He even took us out for a ride on his pontoon boat. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved swimming in the river.

Perfect relaxing stay!

The Sunrise Retreat was a perfect relaxing stay! The house is extremely comfortable with everything you could need. It is located directly on the river and we saw a bald eagle several times! David had a kayak, canoe, and paddleboard on site and our kids were in and out of the water all day! It was a short drive to Lake George and several spots to hike! David even took us out on his boat. Super easy to check in (he even left cookies)! Highly recommend!

Bliss!

Our stay at David’s home was absolutely wonderful. We have stayed in many VRBO’s and without a doubt this five star. The house is so clean and there was plenty of kitchen supplies for whatever you want to cook. Cleaning supplies were well stocked and a box of tissues in every room. We were greeted with yummy homemade chocolate chip cookies, and then surprised with delicious morning glory cake. The Location is amazing. The Hudson River is literally in the backyard. We did some fishing and had a lot of fun. We saw bald eagles, baby chicks with their momma, geese, chipmunks, hummingbirds… So wonderful. The location is nice and private, but just a 10 to 15 minute drive and you're in town where the restaurants and stores are. David is a great host. He offered us a ride on his boat and hung out for a little bit and we had a great chat. David is good people :-) Next time we’re looking for a getaway in the Adirondacks we would definitely come back.

Celebration trip

I was looking for a relaxing waterside house for my family to celebrate several major milestones in my family. The Sunrise cabin was perfect. Clean, roomy, well stocked kitchen, and fun water craft to use on the river. It’s close to other attractions too. David, the host, was available if we needed anything. I will miss greeting the ducks each morning while sipping my coffee by the river.
