Come enjoy this updated one of a kind historical Sacandaga lake house! This spacious 3 bedroom home is perfect for a family getaway. Sit on the screened porch while enjoying your morning coffee. Across the street from our home there's a 270' private beach for you to enjoy the lake. In the evening sit around the bonfire, toast marshmallows and breathe in the crisp Adirondack nighttime air! Winter activities in the area include skiing, ice fishing and miles upon miles of snowmobiling trails.

Please note we allow a neighbor to keep his boat on our dock. You may see an older gentleman park on the lawn and head down to the dock. He won't stay on the beach or interfere with your trip.

This was our second stay here. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. There is a dock to sit on to enjoy the lake, a screened in porch with a couch, chairs, and a table. The game room is great for evening fun, and the family used kayaks everyday. We love staying here.

This was the 3rd time we stayed at this propery, my family and I love it! The sceened in porch is so relaxing, the dock and beach area are wonderful to access the lake with the kayacks on property or just sit and gaze out at the water. The leaves were turning and so pretty paired with the navy blue water. The house is always very clean, so roomy, and has comfortable furniture and beds. Karen is a wonderful host, quick to respond to any questions, and she gives you all the details you need for an easy stay.

Enjoy the Sunsets on the beach

Very nice clean house close to the mountains for our street bike rides and back in the evenings for the sunsetting views I would come back here and stay again

Family getaway

We had a wonderful time. Karen was so very accommodating. We loved the screened in deck and fire pit and the small beach area. Our grandchildren loved it!

Relaxing family vacation.

We enjoyed the screened porch and made good use of the fire pit. The rec room was nice, especially when it rained. We would go back again.

OUR TIME AT THE LAKE

We enjoyed our stay very much my grandson loved the dock and swimmming in the lake. We also got to watch beautiful fireworks from the dock. We would definitely go back again

Beautiful house

This is a lovely and charming house. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed area, especially the water view. The host is extremely nice to work with; very accommodating. Our family would love to stay here again.

Loved Our Stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. We spent a lot of time hiking, swimming and playing pool. We stayed over the 4th of July and were able to see fireworks from the dock. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. My kids loved the bunk beds. As I get older mattresses become more important and the ones here were fantastic. It was a great week and we were sad to leave. Would definitely rent again.

We all really enjoyed this house. It was Very nice to have a screened in porch for the days it rained. Just a little book with instructions about the trash pick up and internet access would have been appreciated. Overall, house was a great place to stay.

Great lake house

We totally enjoyed our stay and would book here again. The house was immaculate. The AC was on for us when we arrived which was great because it was hot that day. All of us slept very comfortably each night. We loved the game room with the dart board, the pool table, and the foosball table. Everyone used the kayaks on the lake, it was so nice to have them. The screened in porch was also be big hit for morning coffee and evenings after dinner. Loved everything!

Sacandaga Family Getaway

The house has plenty to offer. Very clean, spacious, great layout and high cielings. Everything is updated and works well. There’s plenty of Victorian charm too. We also enjoyed the yard, outdoor fire pit, making smores with my family. Above the garage was a game room. We played billiard, darts and foosball. Across the street the private beach and dock were convenient. The days were filled with tubing, fishing and swimming. A memorable time was had by all! Thank you Karen for the perfect vacation. We had a great stay at the lake! The house was perfect for our family of 4. It was very clean, well stocked with everything we needed and the furniture was in great condition. The AC was running when we arrived, which made the house pleasant to walk in to. There was also a small basket of welcome snacks and coffee pods ready to go. We enjoyed the screened in porch, the fire pit and the private beach area. We swam in the lake daily and used the kayaks one afternoon, which was great fun. The weather was too beautiful to stay inside, but we did check out the game room. I did have to rig up the long drapes in two of the bedrooms to cover the upper windows but not obstruct the AC. The only downside was that the neighborhood was extremely noisy. There was constant truck and motorcycle traffic, and you couldn’t escape it anywhere. We were hoping for a quieter and more relaxing area. Excellent communication from our host from before booking through our stay. Overall it was a fantastic stay, and we enjoyed our time at the lake!

Girls trip 2023

We are a group of girlfriends that are all healthcare professionals. We take an annual trip to the lake and leave our men and kids for some well deserved rest and relaxation. We enjoyed this property and the beautiful home and beach area. The beds were very comfortable and the linens provided was a plus! The home was clean and the property manager was prompt in responding with any questions or concerns. We enjoyed the screened in porch thoroughly! I do feel we were mislead when looking at property as we thought we would have a lake view but the overgrown shrubs and trees were in the way, Also the lake was across the street which was not stated clearly in description. There was no AC on first floor which made it difficult to cook, which is something we love to do to save money and time. The kitchen was nice but limited seating and small dinningroom table. All in all we enjoyed our trip! Thank you Karen!
