The space was clean and inviting! We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. The balcony view was incredible and the short walk to the beach was the kicker! Would definitely come back.

Things you will love.....Walking out the backdoor straight onto the beach! The view out the backdoor and from the balcony are beautiful! The house is cute and cozy, very easy to chillax. Having a hose to rinse our dog's paws off after walks on the beach was appreciated. Things to know before you go.....The cottage is dated and could use a deep cleaning (the hood vent had months of gunk & dust on it). Kitchen is stocked with the bare minimum for supplies, so if you may need to bring addition pots/pans/cookie sheets, depending on your group size. The shower is made for someone about 5'5 and the water pressure is ok. You are staying right off the freeway, so there will be traffic noise.

Our local team is addressing the deep cleaning details, including the hood vent, and we are auditing our kitchen inventory to ensure it is fully stocked for groups of all sizes. While traffic noise from the nearby road can happen, we provide white noise machines in the bedrooms for guest comfort and are exploring additional sound-proofing options. This home has the best location near the beach! My favorite spot was the master bedroom upstairs, I enjoyed the view from upstairs and being able to listen to the ocean. Having two bathrooms was key, my only suggestion would be to get a curtain that isn't see thru.

This is a nice location if you are visiting Yachats. The house is clean and comfortable and there is a nice view of the ocean from the larger bedroom. Take note that all the cottages are directly on the 101 so there is a fair bit of road noise. Another thing to be aware of is that the the full bathroom is downstairs and the half bath is upstairs.

Great Sister Time

My two sisters joined me from far away and we had a very special time together at this Sanderling Cottage, cooking meals, talking over tea, and heading out the back door to walk on the beach.The cottage had all the basics and was just what we wanted.

The cutest little spot! Excellent for a weekend stay, or longer! Great view of the beach (but beware very spikey seeds of some sort - our dog couldn’t get off the porch without getting them all in his paws) and have your own patio.

Beautiful Weekend and Weather!

Wonderful stay! The weather was in the 60’s! We loved being so close to the beach. The only negative was the floor in the kitchen area was dirty. Other than that it was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay. The beach access was great. The only downside was the spiral staircase. With the steps being only wood, the dogs had difficulty. Had a great time despite a 4 hour power outage.

Absolutely stunning views and wonderful access to the beach. The spiral stairs are not for the weak and very hard to bring luggage up. But everything else is wonderful!

Quick weekend away with the dogs

The location was perfect. The immediate access to the beach worked well with the dogs. The only thing that was not expected was the narrowness of the spiral staircase. The dogs had difficulty navigating. Had a great time despite a 4 hour power outage of unknown cause.

I did not notice the spiral staircase in the listing. Either I missed it or was not highlighted Evolve is not equipped to handle telephone conversations. Nice location and right size.
