Located at the heart of the historical town of Jim Thorpe with its train station which offers an hour of scenic train loop ride in between the mountains. Short distance to amazing hiking and biking trails at Lehigh Gorge state park.
Jim Thorpe is also close to Mauch Chunk Lake state Park which offers boating, and fishing. Whitewater rafting at the Lehigh River is also an option.

The property was accessible for those who are able to climb stairs. The view out of the front window exquisite. We could not find information concerning departure requirements. The kitchen would benefit from reorganization with a check of whether or not all necessary appliances/tools ware present (ie: can opener). Once in the property, the host was responsive to questions. The property was perfect for our groups needs.

We had a lovely weekend in this spacious second floor 3 bedroom apartment. The home was well stocked with kitchen supplies. We enjoyed sitting outside on the front porch in the evening with an ice cream from Annie's a couple blocks away. The place is conveniently located near downtown Jim Thorpe as well as Penns Peak. Would definitely rent again.Don't miss the wonderful meals served at Union Public House. Bob's market is a great place for breakfast and picking up a few items too. Overall, it was a great experience!

Extremely lovely place to stay and very understanding and accommodating host. Pat is one of the best hosts that we have come across in a long time. Would highly recommend this stay.

We felt right at home. Dogs loved the play yard and all the snow. We only used the master bedroom so I can't vouch for the other beds but the master was great. I want the dinning table and the area rug in the living room. Shower was hot. Josephine's story made me feel more like family. Place was clean, I never lay on the floor of a rental but there had no problem getting down and snuggling with them.

Cozy is a good word to describe this place. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. My friends and I had a wonderful time in Jim Thorpe.

the place was perfect for 4 family members and a dog! The weather was very cold so we didn't walk to Jim Thorpe; had to drive. Not really a problem as the parking was easy at the accommodation.

Easy check in and check out. Very spacious and comfortable. Only downside for me was there were not nearly enough curtains or blinds in the living room and kitchen area for privacy and some of the area needed updating (curtain rods falling out of the wall, etc). But overall it is a great place.

This is a great spot to stay - minutes away from the city center and a 5-min walk from a great restaurant/pub. Would definitely stay here again and again!

Rail to trail in Jim Thorpe PA

My wife and i had a great stay at the property and a great time riding along the Lehigh river in the bike trail. The property was a short walk from the Union Public House and Hairy Guys brewery. We enjoyed both and want to mention the Union Public House for there menu which was ecclictic and included plenty of vegetarian fare. My wife is a vegetarian and she loved it! The staff at both places were awesome! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay here. Great local to walk or drive into town. I didn't realize we had to walk upstairs to get to the apartment. However, we were all people physically capable to do so. Home was very clean and comfortable. Love the convenience of a washer and dryer. If you plan on cooking your meals. Great counter space and outdoor grill. Didn't see a grill brush though to clean the grates. We made so though. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent from you.

We were in town for a wedding. Great time and super convenient to town!

Very clean and had all the supplies we needed. Even has a steam iron, which came in very handy with wrinkled bridesmaid dresses!

Clean Home with a Beautiful View!

Myself and three friends stayed here and it was the perfect space for a girls' getaway in Jim Thorpe. It's a short drive from the busy part of town and easy to park on the street in front of. We spent a lot of time in town, but while at the vrbo we cooked breakfast, used the TV to watch shows, and were comfortable hanging out.

We could manage the steps to the place, but suggest it be noted in the description that there are many steps and a small incline to be navigated.?our ages are 78 to 80.I was not aware we were on the other side of Jim Thorpe away from the activities and had to drive to the other side. We enjoyed our stay.

Outdoor person happy to point you in the right direction for a fun time. I have enjoyed everything that Jim Thorpe has to offer with my family for the past 20 years. My six kids are nature lovers. I moved to Jim Thorpe in 2019 after loosing my 13 year old daughter Josephine to DIPG brain cancer. Josephine had a lust for life and loved this town. She enjoyed its numerous trails, rafting trips, and biking paths. After Josephine’s passing in June of 2019, this place has allowed me to feel connected to my Josephine thru our immense love for nature. She is everywhere. Josephine would wish everyone to enjoy these mountains, lakes and rivers as much as she did, in the company of your love ones.
Life is precious. Enjoy it.
