This is a great house with tons of amenities and beautifully maintained. It was very clean, the bathrooms are beautiful and have been updated since the pictures, very comfortable beds, and the kitchen was fully equipped. It was very hot during our visit so we couldn't enjoy the outdoor space as much as we would have liked but the proximity to the water was great and the dock was amazing! There are so many nice decks and places to go in this house. We truly enjoyed our stay!!!

House was up to date and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. The games came in handy since we had a lot of rain while we were there. We rented a boat and used the dock.

Great for a big family

It’s a beautiful home. Loved having a dock to keep our boats and jet ski handy. We loved the fire pit in the evening. The kids loved playing games at night after we got in from a day on the water.

All went well. Would have preferred king sized mattresses over 2 separate pushed together. Great stocked kitchen made cooking meals easy! Nice bathrooms.

Great get away

My wife and I along with 2 other couples rented this home for 4 days while we did a benefit poker run for a local charity. The home was as described and the property management company was amazing. Highly recommend!!

The host was awesome with any questions we had. The house was big enough and had plenty of room and activites for me and my friends on the weekend. Lots of fun to with the lake, fire pit, hot tub and the cornhole boards. Great time would recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing get away on the lake

Total Relaxation

We had such a wonderful time during our stay at Rest-Ashored. It was very clean and comfortable. Our favorite places were the porch, media room and game room/sunroom. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook with ease. The smores by the fire were an unexpected surprise. Thank you for leaving all the supplies. We recently stayed at the Lakefront “Rest‑Ashored” Home in Eddyville, KY, and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway. Our group was celebrating my wife’s birthday and her sister’s birthday, and everything about this home—from its private dock to its spacious layout—made it a truly memorable weekend.From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the entire house boasts fresh, modern finishes that blend style with functionality. We especially loved the beautiful bathroom renovations—each suite features separate tubs and glass‑enclosed showers, plus oversized closets that made unpacking a breeze. As an extra bonus, there’s a full kitchen both upstairs and down, which was a delightful surprise and gave us plenty of space to prep birthday breakfasts and snacks without ever feeling crowded.One of the highlights was the covered dock access. We brought our boats and had no trouble tying up right at the shoreline. Although we didn’t fish this trip, the private dock access was a game‑changer for boating. We didn’t have to haul our gear out to a busy marina—just pull up to the covered dock, tie off, and drop everything at arm’s reach. When a sudden storm rolled through, it was such a relief to have a quick, secure spot to pull the boats straight off the water. And when we weren’t out on the water, the upper‑level deck became our favorite gathering spot. The home’s generous floor plan gave our larger family plenty of room to spread out. The living areas, both indoors and out, flowed seamlessly, so we never felt cramped—even with a dozen of us celebrating together. Quiet nooks downstairs offered a bit of solitude for reading or quiet conversation, while the open kitchen/dining area was perfect for group meals and toasts.We also loved having our own ice machine - probably saved around a grand on ice this trip!! :-)The host deserves special mention—she was incredibly responsive, promptly answering all of our questions by email and accommodating our needs with a friendly, helpful attitude. It made the entire booking and stay seamless.All in all, Rest‑Ashored is the perfect lakefront escape. If you’re planning a family celebration or a laid‑back gathering with friends, you’ll find every comfort and convenience here. We can’t wait to return!

This is an amazing property! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. It not only was very clean, but the property had everything you could possibly want/need. The furnishings were well kept, and lots of supplies. We had 10 people in our group, and plenty of room for all. Also lots of kitchen dishes, so you didn't have to wash dishes all the time. Tastefully decorated, and quality appliances. The view of the lake was lovely as well. I highly recommend this property!!

Rested at Rest-Ashored

We had a great time staying at Rest-Ashored. The property was clean and well-stocked in everything that we needed for our week and a half stay. Beautiful property.

Family Lake Time

This property was great for our yearly family lake trip. We had 7 adults and 7 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and very nicely stocked with cookware. Downstairs was a great place for the kids. They loved the movie room and enclosed game/play area. There was also a 2nd full kitchen downstairs which was really convenient to have. There's a boat dock which was great since my brother and his family brought their own boat. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. All in all, a great property. The only negative would be the hill leading down to the lake. It was a pretty steep hill however my 81 year old grandma was able to make the climb so it wasn't too terrible just cumbersome to pack all the things that are needed for 7 kids out on a lake all day.

Family Fun

We planned an end of summer weekend before school started and had an amazing time! The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need, and there were tons of games and movie to keep the kids happy and entertained. We brought two boats with us and to dock was amazingly convenient and well kept. It was a bit of an upward climb to get to the house, and the driveway was a little hard to park a truck with a trailer but not impossible. The area was very peaceful and we spent a lot of time sitting on the deck. The only issue we had, and this wasn’t a bad thing, just a minor inconvenience was only one shower upstairs and one downstairs, with 11 people getting ready it took a while for everyone but the hot water was always there so that was nice. Overall we loved this place and would absolutely come back!
