This single-level duplex is located just about a mile from the Warm Springs ski lifts and is steps from the popular Heidelberg Hill trailhead and a bus stop for the "Blue Route" on the free Mountain Rides Bus. This home offers approx. 1200 sq ft of living space and will sleep up to four guests.

As you enter the home you will find the cozy living area with a gas fireplace, a 36-inch flat-screen TV with cable, and modern seating. To the left of the entry is the fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances. In the corner of the kitchen is a dining table for four. The kitchen door leads out to a spacious, sunny deck with barbeque and outdoor chairs for relaxing in the summer months.

Off the living area is a hall leading to the master bedroom to the left and the second bedroom to the right. The large master has a queen bed, a 36-inch flat-screen TV, and a walk-in closet that leads to the master bathroom. This bathroom has a shower and a single vanity sink. There is a stack washer/dryer in the master closet. The second bedroom offers two twin beds and has access to a full-size hallway bathroom with a single vanity sink and tub/shower combo.

This duplex is located in a residential neighborhood near the dog park. There is parking for two cars in front of the unit.

One dog is welcome, with an additional pet fee of $120.

Please Note: This unit is professionally managed, and all check-ins are at the Alpine Lodging Office, conveniently located on South Main Street in Ketchum. Self-check-in is not available at the property. We strive to make check-in as quick and easy as possible so you can start enjoying your vacation! Reservations are unit-specific. We do everything possible to keep your reservation in the same property you’ve reserved. If the property has a maintenance emergency, we will contact you with the option to move your reservation to a property of equal or greater value, at no additional cost.

Cozy stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I spent the 4th of July weekend at Wanderer’s Way and enjoyed a relaxing time. We especially liked the large kitchen and spacious living room. The place was very clean. Only issues were the many loose handles on cabinets and faucets, the master bathroom door sticks, and the down pillows in the living room stick through the material. Other than that the place was nice and in a great location next to walking trails.

Perfect location for an active vacation

My son and I met in Sun Valley for a cycling/running vacation. The weather and accommodation location were perfect. The townhouse was right on the Adam's Gulch Trail system which we thoroughly enjoyed running and biking on it. Our VRBO was very clean, and we appreciated the fully stocked kitchen for cooking all of our meals. It was also nice having two bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a washer/dryer. Thanks for helping us create great memories.

The property and location were great - just as advertised. Check in and out was done via an office that was on the other side of town so that was the only drawback.

Quiet neighborhood

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here because it was close to my daughter’s home. The rental was a good location and it was clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequate. The home is dated and the carpets are very worn with lots of throw rugs around the house causing potential tripping hazards. The bathrooms were also dated although the master shower was fine. There were a few maintenance things needed during our 10 days day and the maintenance crew was very responsive, but it is unfortunate that things like a broken screen door, loose faucets, and lack of screens in the bedroom windows were in need of repair and most could not be repaired. The cost is reasonable so if you stay know that the place is a basic.

Budget and Pet Friendly Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Given the rising prices in the Sun Valley area, this is a budget and pet friendly rental in a great location. The duplex is located at the base of the Heidelberg trail, a gateway to the Adam’s Gulch area. I would rate the location and value as the top aspects of this rental. We had some issues with the kitchen not being fully stocked (and it’s still not), but the property management company was very responsive in getting our asked for items over within the day! Given that the property is nearing 50 years old, we also experienced some issues with a leaky faucet, which was promptly fixed as well. The place is well worn, but comfortable with newer furniture. The main bedroom has an extremely comfortable queen foam mattress. We arrived to no-Wi-Fi since the property was initially using the modem from next door to provide Wi-Fi to both properties (I’m sure how they got away with this arrangement). This meant that the Wi-Fi only worked when standing in the kitchen. The property management company addressed this promptly and the modem was updated. From then on, the Wi-Fi worked great, although the TV was still not able to access Netflix, etc. Luckily, after the Wi-Fi was fixed, we were able to use our personal Firestick that we brought along and were able to access Netflix, etc. (we were not able to use the TV at all prior to the Wi-Fi being fixed). The only surprise was that I asked for a vacuum (twice) as we were there for an extended stay. We were told that one would be dropped off, but it was not. The place was well stocked with plenty of towels. I appreciated having the washing machine and dryer on site, but plan to bring your own detergent as it’s not provided. All in all, this is a great budget and pet friendly option in a fantastic location. We appreciated being able to bring our furry friend along for our stay!

Had a good time. The place is ideally located near the bus line and the warm springs dog park. Only request is that the host provide a coffee grinder to go with the coffee pot.

It suits our needs perfectly, as the kids have space outside to play and have their own bathroom, and we have the master with en suite plus laundry. Comfortable and family-friendly, and a quiet neighbhoord with friendly neighbors. Being mere steps from the Wanderer's Way Trail is a huge bonus, which connects to Adams Gulch and Shadyside.

Not sure how often the linens are checked/cleaned because there were multiple spiders nesting in one of the beds. I totally get that it is the mountains and spiders happen, but just be aware that the rental company doesn't always check the accommodation right before your stay, so it is on you to go through everything as though it has been sitting vacant for a while. Other than that - amazing location and highly recommended!

The bus to Warm Springs is about 50 yards from the front door. This is an older place that been somewhat remodeled, but not fancy.
