House wth the Orange Door

Our bach was built six years ago as a holiday home n the beautiful Golden Bay. It is quiet and peaceful and a few moments walk from the golden sands of Tata Beach. A chldren’s playground is passed en route.

It is fully furnished, has a fully equipped kitchen and room to park a boat or caravan. The area is home to tui, keruru, morepork and weka. Kea can occasionally be seen flying above the hills.

There’s an outdoor shower, and an extra loo in the downstairs laundry. A porta cot is also available.

This is a no smoking home.

Thé property is bounded on two sides by a small creek so this property is not suitable for dogs.

We all loved our 10 day stay at the house with the orange door from the moment we drove into the driveway unto the moment that we regrettable left. The house was very clean, and tidy, and everything and more was found in the house. We enjoyed taking the kayaks down to the beach on the trolley provided. We walked the 5 minutes down to the beach every day, and loved exploring the beach and rockpools. I tried desperately to see the little blue penguins, but they always just beat me to the water at 5.30 am. I read a few of the hundreds of books provided, and would have loved to stay for the whole summer. We will definitely be back. Thanks Kay.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Such a beautiful house in a stunning location. Comfortable beds, toys for the children and the most gorgeous decking surrounded by birdsong. We would love to come back one day! Thank you Kay.

A stunning Bach with everything you need

We absolutely loved staying at the house with the orange door! We enjoyed the open plan living area with big dining table. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the shower had great pressure with enough warm water. We enjoyed the wifi and chrome cast to watch Netflix at night. The owner responded very quickly to any questions we had. Thank you Kay for arranging a replacement dishwasher so quickly after it broke and for the lovely bottle of wine upon our arrival. I would definitely like to stay here again in future.

Great property in a beautiful location

Great spot. Everything we needed. 5mins walk to Tata Beach. Lovely outdoor area on the deck watching the kereru, tui, and silvereyes flying around. A great location for Abel Tasman or further afield!

An oasis behind the orange door

Well equipped holiday house with an impressive selection of books and very comfortable beds. Lovely big deck for sitting, relaxing and dining. Great place to stay to explore Golden Bay or simply relax........ or both. Could easily have stayed longer.
