This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom gem is nestled in the Crescent Beach area of North Myrtle Beach, a mere 2 blocks from the ocean. The property owners have introduced a host of delightful enhancements, including a brand-new inground pool in 2021 and a freshly paved driveway. The pool is shared with the owners of the rear house, offering a refreshing oasis. The cottage's exterior has been elegantly painted in a serene blue hue. Furthermore, they've installed a new outdoor water access point, perfect for rinsing off sandy beach remnants. The proximity to the beach makes for effortless relaxation.

Inside, the living room and both bedrooms boast flat-screen TVs for your entertainment. The kitchen showcases recently updated countertops and is fully equipped to facilitate your culinary endeavors. Both bedrooms feature comfortable queen beds, with one of the mattresses freshly replaced in 2023. The living room exudes comfort, now boasting a new, expansive sectional couch to enhance your TV show enjoyment. A designated dining area is at your disposal, and the screened-in front porch beckons as a serene spot to unwind after a sun-soaked day at the beach. Situated in a peaceful neighborhood near Highway 17, you'll find easy access to the area's myriad attractions.

Merely a short distance from Barefoot Landing, this hub of entertainment invites you to indulge in shopping or relish a show at the esteemed House of Blues and Alabama Theater. A delectable array of restaurants awaits, including Taco Mundo, Lulu's, Wild Wing Cafe, Joe's Crab Shack, and the renowned Flying Fish, among others.

For those traveling with furry companions, this property welcomes 1 small pet weighing up to 35 lbs., A $200.00 non-refundable pet fee will be added. Additionally, a full-sized washer/dryer is located in the back, alongside a sleeper sofa that offers extra accommodation if needed.

All Guests must be 25 or older to book & stay. A responsible Adult over the age of 25 MUST be present at all times.

Lori’s landing cottage

Great location and the house was perfect for our needs. Kitchen well stocked with cooking pans since we eat a few meals there. We loved having the pool. I was a little worried about bothering the owner with playing music in the afternoons. But she said no problem she doesn’t hear anything in her house. She gave us tips on a few places to go. The screened in porch was great with having my dog with us.

GREAT location, room for improvement

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The positives: GREAT location. Beach is right there and you’re in walking distance to bars, ice cream, convenience stores. Cute beach theme throughout the home, spacious, great AC. Room for improvement: we had a pretty significant ant problem in the kitchen sink, no dishes were in it or food, they just came in hot out of nowhere. Management offered to send someone but it would have been disruptive on our last full day so we opted to set out ant traps. Would have loved a discounted price. The place isn’t super pet friendly. There’s a sign right out front that says “no dogs” and dogs aren’t permitted in the pool area. Most likely because the owner lives next door and their pup wont love seeing another pup on the property, causing disturbance. Not a major problem but worth noting if you’re bringing your dog. The beds here were also not great - no support, felt like a queen size fold out cot. We don’t need a temperpedic but a comfortable one shouldn’t be hard to provide. Overall a great space, just needs some attention to detail and not quite as pet friendly as we’d hoped.

Served the purpose

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It served the purpose but won’t do it again. When we rented it was listed as a six person with a pull out couch in another room. We were informed the pull out was out of commission & we were asked if we would like a rollaway bed. The couch remained & two rollaways were there. Not enough room for all that. Also, this room didn’t have air conditioning! Great that one of the mattresses was upgraded but the other is in dire need too. Cleaning person needs to be checked on. The stove, freezer & shower was not clean. Sharing the pool with the owner didn’t sound bad but you must realize it’s sharing the pool with the owner’s guest too & rules are posted for a limit of six people. I was a little uncomfortable having people walk past & look at you like “who are you?”. Electric needs upgraded. Extension cord is run in at least one bedroom for lamps & still not enough plugs. Don’t really know what was going on with the channel selection on the TV in the living room. Didn’t even try the tv’s in the bedrooms, assumed I’d be the same. The owner is nice & friendly but made it weird at times.

Just perfect

My daughter and I came to Myrtle Beach for a softball tournament. The softball field ended up being 3 minutes away from this location which was fantastic. Also just a short walk to the beach. Easy to find and great location. Friendly neighbors and nice neighborhood. Would definitely come back to this place again.

Great Experience at Lori's Landing

The house was clean and had all the necessities. Location was fantastic. Close enough to walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Pool was clean and pool area was well kept. Owner was great. Couldn't have asked a better experience.

We made such great memories in this adorable little cottage. It was perfect and the location was a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. Friendly neighbors who were so kind. A short trip with my daughters and Gino (our dog) I’ll never forget.

It’s a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. The same distance to the ice cream shop and little convenience store. Our dog loved the front screened in porch. Quiet family neighborhood with a mix or residents and owners. We had some rowdy neighbors but they were quickly dealt with. It’s in the crescent beach section and a really nice neighborhood

This is a very pleasant home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the screened in front porch every morning before going to the ocean beach which was only two blocks away. We ate lunch either at the dining table or once again on the porch, then we repeated this for the afternoon. The kitchen and laundry area had everything we needed, but a real plus was the inground pool. The owner was helpful, and we felt she was our new friend only after a day. She was truly fun to talk to and was a delight. The beds were very comfortable, all in all, we had a lovely vacation here. The neighborhood felt very safe and since there are mostly homes like this one, the beach seemed even closer without endless 20 story concrete high rises, common in vacation spots as this is. Grocery stores were close making it very convenient for making meals.

Very close to the beach and accommodating to our family needs. We ended up having a family emergency and was able to get back in after check out but we didn't stay due to other issues. The owner does live out back and will give feed back about how you utilize the property, pool, etc. So we didn't really feel comfortable swimming much but we still enjoyed our stay for the most part

Great little cottage

My family loved the cottage. Neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Close to the beach and easy highway access when you want to go out. The pool was just right for us. We will be renting again! Thanks again for a great place to stay!
