Great place for family in West LA

We stayed at this house in West LA because it was near UCLA and near friends. We had a great weekend. The house was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. The owner was very nice and helpful. She responded immediately to our questions and quickly solved a minor issue. She knew that we were arriving late and provided fresh fruit and frozen pizzas for us. Pool was great and very private.

One of my top Vrbo experiences!

Can’t say enough great things about my experience with Cristy and her property! For starters the house is gorgeous, spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool was the cherry on top for our stay. It’s location also ensures you’ll never run out of things to do and it’s surprisingly quiet at home compared to the rest of the city. Cristy was extremely courteous and took fabulous care of us throughout the duration of our stay. Many hosts have not been nearly as involved in my past Vrbo experiences, so it was a welcomed change. Should I return to this area I will definitely be looking to book this property again and highly recommend it to any prospective guests.

Older home, excellent location, fairly priced.

This home is in an excellent neighborhood close to everything. It has a very large pool which makes the home feel larger than it is which helps out a lot for larger groups. This home is an older home and could really use some upgrades. It doesn’t appear the property manager visits the home very often. The bbq had no gas, just two empty tanks and the property manager told us it was too difficult to monitor that. However, for its price point and location it’s fair to say we got what we paid for.

This property was very dirty when we arrived. We cleaned a little since we were staying for a bachelorette party. There was half eaten things in the refrigerator and fridge, which was very nasty. Most of the beds were half made and there were no extra blankets or pillows if you wanted to stay on the couch. The pool was very dirty, like it had not been cleaned in awhile. There was spiders and leaves everywhere in the pool the bottom of the pool had black stuff all over it. I would not recommend staying at this house. The owner of this house is a very rude lady as well.

Please do a deep clean

Great location. Paid pool heating fee through Venmo to a different person than host, kinda weird, host was kinda pushy to collect pool heating fee. Property has not been deep cleaned in a very long time. Air was musty, dirty smelling inside. Many surfaces were sticky and filmy, throw pillows and rugs filthy. Bathrooms not clean, tons of dust and hair. hair sticking to wall in master bath. Cold water does not work in master bath, handle jammed, hot water starts burning you after a few seconds. This property needs a major overhaul to be renting to travelers. Made the best of our time, won’t be back.

Pictures are deceiving, house/furniture is worn, needs many repairs and professional house cleaning.

Overall, the house was dirty and needed a professional cleaning. We left the house cleaner than it was when we arrived, the owner even thanked us for leaving it so clean! The mattress in pool house and one of the master bedrooms are old and broken down, the owner has put a soft foam pad over them which actually makes it worse, they need to be replaced. Most light fixtures were missing bulbs, TV remotes were missing batteries which we had to buy to use them. The furniture is very worn, curtains are dirty and not hung correctly. The owner has personal items in the refrigerator, freezer, all the kitchen drawers and bathroom cabinets. Bathroom rugs were dirty. Pool area is not as nice as shown in the pictures, although the owner has purchased new lounging chairs. No basic house supplies were provided. We had to purchase toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher soap, and new dish towels to use in the kitchen (there was only one kitchen towel and it was dirty). We also bought cleaning supplies to wipe out the moldy refrigerator, ice maker and sticky countertops before we could use them. We were so disappointed in the cleanliness of this property because the owner was really nice and the house is in a great location with a good floor plan.

Long weekend getaway

Owner was very responsive. The property was located close to the airport and main highways. The interior of house needs some upgrades but the backyard, pool and spa are adorable.

Great week

We had a fun week in LA. The location was great- 20 min to the beach and most things. We walked to Starbucks and to get fresh bagels every morning. Loved the yogurt shops too! The owner was easy to work with and answered my questions right away.

My family loved the house and location.

Comfortable for group of 10. With the temperature in high 80's it was nice to jump into the pool during the day. At night, pool gets cold, but it's refreshing. Heater for the pool & hot tub didn't work so well or maybe it takes long time to heat them. Cristy was very accommodating. Everything that needed to be done, Cristy sent people to fix it. .

We used this as our home base for a work trip to LA area and it was fantastic. Peaceful to sit by the pool in between meetings and a really great stay overall.

Excellent Stay!

This home is perfectly located in West L.A., with convenient access to the 405 and 10 freeways. This is a great place to stay while you explore the city because it is close to stores and tourist attractions. The owner is very kind and accommodating. The house is nice and located on a quiet street, there is a pool and outdoor fireplace which is a great bonus!

Simply stated; I felt at home

Splendid comfort,amazing host!

It was a weekend to remember! This place is set up so beautifully that wanting to leave it was hard for us:). Great amenities, high in comfort and a very attentive host Cristy who was at the top of all our requests. Being constant travelers we've stayed in many vacation homes but must say, this one has been the best experience of all. Looking forward to do it again when my family visits soon. Great host, Wonderful home, Would stay here again

Had a great 5 star experience. The home was very clean, felt very welcoming. Cristy replied very quickly with any questions we had. The house was in a great location center of everything. The rooms were very roomy, had great living space would definitely return for another stay if had the chance.

Great location, kids loved it

Nicely upgraded place, close enough to where I was traveling for work and lots of options for the rest of family while I was occupied. We had relaxing evenings by the pool. The fire pit was out of gas, but the owner quickly rectified this and we were all good. All in all, it was better than expected and we look forward to returning next year. Thanks Christy!
