Very disappointing stay, especially as this was supposed to be a special birthday getaway for my daughter. The spa was not working and the BBQ was also not working, which completely disrupted our plans and ruined a big part of the experience we had planned for her birthday.The host told us to call if we needed anything, so we contacted them about the issues, but unfortunately they did not answer when we tried to reach them. We were left without any solution or support.We chose this property expecting to be able to use the advertised facilities, particularly the spa, but unfortunately this was not the case. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and our daughter’s birthday plans were significantly affected.

The barbecue was working and it was simply a gas bottle that needed filling which they were happy to do when they contacted me on the day of arrival. To say I was unresponsive is untrue and I reimburse them the same day for the cost of the gas bottle which they were happy to do at the time. I offered the late checkout as a result. The Spa was working. It’s just needed topping up with water which they also were happy to do upon arrival. We do not guarantee the Spa can be preheated prior to arrival and it takes eight hours to heat and was kept running at a temperature of 37° from the morning after their arrival for two full days at their request. The review is untrue and unfair given the communication I had with them to make sure that they were happy with the result. They did not express their disappointment with any impact on their birthday plans or even told me they had birthday plans. They seemed to enjoy the spa and barbecue on the Saturday after checking in late Friday night. I request this review be deleted because it is untrue and it does not detail the events accurately

Perfect location across the lake, all you need is in a house and then - there is the spa... super relaxing.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Booking Cancelled Without Proper Notice I had a very poor experience with this property and the booking platform. I booked this property well in advance on June 23 for a family stay from July 8 to 10. However, despite receiving confirmation, the host canceled the booking ten days later on July 3—just days before our stay—claiming the property had already been booked through another site. This last-minute cancellation caused significant mental stress and financial hardship for me and my family, as we were left scrambling to find alternate accommodation on very short notice during a peak holiday period. It is extremely unprofessional for hosts to list the same property on multiple platforms without real-time availability updates. I strongly urge future guests to double-check the booking status directly with the host before relying on confirmation from this site, as it cannot be trusted. It’s unacceptable that after causing such disruption, the platform still requests a review for a stay that never happened. The integrity of your service and screening process for hosts seriously needs improvement.
