Summary:

Welcome to Sunrise Suites, a peaceful community on Key West's southeast side. Just 1 mile from the beach and 10 minutes from Duval Street's attractions, this two-bedroom condo complex features uniquely designed units. Enjoy access to a shared hot tub, heated pool, walking paths, biking trails, a tennis court, and on-site laundry facilities—everything you need for a relaxing stay!



The Space:

Two bedroom two bathroom suite with private balcony overlooking the salt marshes!

Bedroom 1: King bed, walk-in closet & en-suite bathroom

Bedroom 2: Queen bed with attached bathroom

Living Area: Queen pull-out couch and a quiet private balcony



All of your cooking essentials included along with brand new kitchen counters the Tortuga Suite is ready for cooking all your vacation meals.

There is central AC, private parking for 1 vehicle at this unit as well as internet, TV, and cable.



Guest Access:

Our self check-in makes the process seamless.



Guests will receive a personalized access code prior to arrival and direct contact to a local guest experience manager for any questions, needs or recommendations during their stay.



The Neighborhood:

Tortuga Suite is located inside of the Sunrise Suites Resort Community located about 10 minutes away from the World Famous Duval Street and its vibrant restaurants, art galleries and nightlife. Inside the community you can find a corner store, spa, walking and biking trails. It is also located just a short drive away from the nightly Sunset Celebration and entertainment at Mallory Square.



Getting Around:

There is 1 parking spot available per apartment. However, the spots are not marked. They are available on a first-come first-serve basis so we can not guarantee close proximity to your unit.



A second parking spot is a possibility and based off of parking lot vacancy. Should you see an additional spot, you may park free of charge.



There are a variety of great ways to explore Key West including by bicycle, pedi-cab, moke, scooter, golf cart, Uber or taxi. Feel free to ask us for recommendations!



Other Things to Note:

- Private stackable washer and dryer - To get you started we supply detergent and dryer sheets.

- This unit is located close to the airport.

Happy Family Vacation!!!!

Terrific time was had. The place was quiet, comfortable, clean and conveniently located. Bike rental was right there and the pool and tennis courts were great. Loved the terrace porch.

Nice place out of the limelight

We enjoyed the property and it was an away from the main hustle of Duval. It was a bit further to take a Uber in to Duval, but the walking area along A1A is fantastic. Amenities were nice and we were glad to be able to take our pet with us and walk him.

Time with friends

Four friends met for a weekend in Key West and stayed at this condo. It is in a great location, away from the noise of downtown but just a short Uber ride to the places we wanted to go.

First Visit to KeyWest

Property matched VRBO description. A bit closer to airport than we anticipated. However, planes taking off and landing were loud downtown, as well. Liked the location being away from the crowds and craziness of Duval Strett at the end of the day. Although it was an easy and close 5 minute drive to get there. Would definitely stay here, again,

Good property. Good location. Only issue was the hot tub. It was about 75 degrees. If it was presented as a property having a hot tub then the hot tub should be functional. Sort of feel like we didn't get what we paid for.

Great spot in Key West

This property is near the airport and Smathers Beach... and will be the perfect spot for you to enjoy Key West! The owners are great and were very communicative with us. The property was spotless and everything was in great working condition. The layout is great for 4-5 people... bedrooms had sufficient space and the bathrooms were very roomy. There is an elevator at this property, as well, so it makes getting luggage up to the third floor a breeze. Another plus is being able to see the airport from the balcony. Cool to see sea planes take off and land! Would highly recommend for anyone coming to Key West. We'll definitely come back when we return!

Affordable place to stay in Key West

We would have loved to stay in a beautiful guest house in Key West, but settled on this nice 3rd floor condo at a more affordable price near the airport. There were four of us for 2 nights. The kitchen had new appliances and countertops, and there was a new washer/dryer. The balcony was lovely, with table and chairs. The primary suite was spacious, but the second bedroom was cramped, and the mattress was too soft for us. The bathroom for the second bedroom had some issues that could be easily fixed: a moldy shower curtain and peeling paint. Despite being near the airport, we were not bothered by noise, and we could watch the planes as they took off and landed.

Key West weekend

Property was as advertised. Some problems with dog poop besides elevators. Not sure what pet policy is for property. Unit was lacking in glassware and cooking utensils. No regular coffee pot, only single cup brewing. Not good for a group who drinks a lot of coffee.

Thank you for your feedback, Doug. Most units at Sunrise Suites allow pets, but since they are all separately owned, some have different pet policies than others. We apologize for the lack of kitchen supplies, we are working on addressing that issue and should have new supplies in by February.

only ok wouldn't opt to stay again at this particular unit

the location was ok but the property needs upkeep. shower curtain black dots (mold) bottle of something (gross trash) left behind bedroom lamp freezer needed cleaning, nicer towels would be appreciated, mattresses need to be replaced. more updated furniture would be great towels for the pool would have been nice bathroom tile dated and conditioner would have been great. s

Our property images on our listing are the most up-to-date, we do this so guests are not disappointed with any decor/updates prior to arrival. Very limited kitchen , beds on soft side

Only stayed couple nights so didn’t worry about cooking. Not even salt or pepper supplied. Enjoyed time there and that’s what counted

Very unhappy and disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit. Needs a good spring cleaning. 1. Dirty dishes left in dishwasher and no dishwasher soap or tabs provided 2. Open wine left in fridge along with other food 3. Had to wipe out refrigerator 4. Moldy bathroom shower curtains; mold around shower handles 5. Broken slat in kitchen floor near refrigerator- unsafe to walk barefoot 6. Dirty Lanai tile

typical condo/time share with basics that meet all needs. very clean, and the confirmation/communication was excellent. i'd mention price as a negative but everything in KW is outrageously overpriced. supply and demand!
