Weekend Getaway

The property was perfect for our stay! It was actually better in person than the pictures - we were very pleased :) Checking in and out was very simple. Everything we needed to know about the cabin was provided prior to our arrival. Thanks again!

My wife’s 60th Birthday Weekend

We had an amazing time. Once we got to the cabin on Thursday night we didn’t leave till Sunday morning. My wife said it was the “Best Birthday Ever” All the kids and grandkids came, there was plenty of room and lots to do in the cabin. Even room outside for some fun games. Thank You to the cabin owners and VRBO for making this a great weekend. We plan to make this a yearly trip!

Awesome Cabin - Great Trip

The cabin was awesome. Very Clean. At the very top of the Mountain in Black Bear Falls. Unobstructed view. The place was well stocked. Plenty of room for 5 couples and more. The hot tub was very nice. The Pool Table needed new rails but besides that the game room was excellent. We spent more time at the Cabin than in Gatlinburg. Driving up the first time, it seemed far from town but really was only a few minutes. Close to Grocery Store, Liquor Store and not far at all from Downtown. Was not far from 8 Mile Loop either. We had a great time and will definitely rent again when we return.

Very nice cabin, great views. A very large bear paid us a visit the first evening. We got some great pictures, but when he realized we were not going to feed him he ambled away. I agree with one of the reviews, knives are useless, bring your own knives if you plan to cook.

Beautiful view!

Property amenities were exactly as listed. Property was very clean. Plenty of extra towels and linens. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a locked owner's cabinet beside the fridge that would have been nice to have access to. We had to put a lot of things on the counter because there was only one empty cabinet. For our particular group, we would have preferred having a couple rooms of bunk beds to increase the bed count and not have to have so many people on sofa beds but that's a personal preference. Overall, a beautiful property!

The Gaitlinburg Getaway was more then a house for our family-it was our home for the week we were th

Beautiful & exactly what we had expected!

Weekend rental for my family/birthday getaway. Perfect for our agenda...not far from downtown & close enough to Pigeon Forge. Cabin was beautiful & well maintained. The view from the porch can't be beat!
