Ashgrove Beach House is a fantastic holiday home that's ideally located within walking distance to the stunning West Beach just 500 metres away.
Bedroom and bathroom linen is provided for a totally carefree holiday experience.
The layout of the home is very practical and comfortable for up to two families or groups of friends. A formal lounge and a nearby master bedroom (with ensuite) are located at the front, open-plan kitchen, dining & living room overlooks the large enclosed backyard.

Very happy with the house and location. A couple of little maintenance issues, re back door damaged, so unable to access, but getting tradies around Christmas is difficult. Host was very good. I would have liked to have been better informed, re the cleaning, as we left the house in a very clean state, and if we had known would’ve liked a refund, as very little that cleaners had to do. The bbq and oven could do with a good clean.

Great location but house needs some attention

The house is located very close to the beautiful West Beach which was great for my family and young kids. However, the house itself needs some attention. First of all there is NO WIFI which was a huge inconvenience and should be noted on the listing. The TV is not a smart tv and very old so we couldn't even connect to the tv. The first night we arrived the hot water system was broken and my whole family had to have cold showers. Emma was able to get a repair man out the next morning to fix the problem though. The kitchen appliances and especially the pots and pan were disgusting and almost unusable. We stayed over Christmas and it was nearly impossible to cook and prepare any food with what is provided in the kitchen. There was not enough silverware and no basic cleaning supplies provided. There was also no washing machine liquid and the dishwasher was broken. The outdoor seating area/bbq was covered in cobwebs and not maintained at all. Reading the previous reviews I gave this place the benefit of the doubt but seems as though the maintenance is slacking. When booking I asked if there were baby items available (cot and highchair etc) and she said no. So I went and bought some for our stay only to discover there was in fact these items in the house. Seems like host doesn't know what actually is in the house or the condition it's in. Overall we enjoyed our stay but wouldn't book again.

Property needs work

Hi, We enjoyed a nice time in Esperance with good friends from Europe. The layout of the property is good. Each family had their own part of the house. We liked this. However, the following issues were found: 1. The kitchen and all the utensils were dirty. Needed to be cleaned before we used them. 2. Having the ability to stay there with eight adults and not providing enough kitchen utensils for eight people is not sufficient. Also, we needed to purchase a larger pan to cook. 3. The cooktop had some issues. The ignition did not stop for quite some time. 4. The garage door needs maintenance. It does not close properly without opening it again and trying to close 1 to 2 more times. 5. The kids's bedroom blinds are broken. 6. The second bathroom tap did not provide enough water. 7. The shower head in the second bathroom needs replacing. I felt sand-blasted after having a shower. 8. A second key needs to be provided. 9. The dishwasher detergent tray didn't work. Machine needs a service. Overall, we love Esperance, however, the house was a real disappointment. I will not come back. Whoever asks for that much money and provides that little should probably get a reality check. If I were responsible for Stayz.com.au I would take this property of my webpage until the issues are fixed.

Esperance Getaway

Property was well maintained, neat and tidy. Rooms where all big, house was big, heaps of room for you to chill out. Not located in the main town area, but close enough to order Fish & Chips and be there in no time. Even had bits and pieces in the house, tea bags, sugar, cooking oil as well as washing powder in the laundry. Nice touch.

Perfect house for group of friends or families

We had a great stay here. Great location, nice spacious and open plan lay out with good sized garden. Would definitely try to book again if staying in Esperance with friends.
