Great Place to Stay

This is a beautiful complex with all the amenities you could want. It is beautifully maintained and was nicely decorated for the holidays. The food at both the restaurant and the snack bar was very good and the entertainment in the evenings were great. They could have used additional wait staff, but may not have anticipated such large crowds during the holiday.The condo, although the living area is quite small was well equipped and very clean. The bed was very comfortable with lots of closet space. There were an abundance of towels and the shower had great water pressure.The kitchen was well stocked although we did have a bit of trouble working the microwave.

Great Location

Comfortable and met our needs. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. Almost seemed like it was forgotten. Hair in shower and crumbs on the floor.

My stay

Our stay was great, however had a little difficulty finding the condo as the address was incorrect. The bathroom drains were very slow. Other than that we had no problem.

Old and dated

The property needs lots of help. The water in the toilet whistles when it fills. Lots of burned out light bulbs and/or plugs that don’t work. Couch is sunken in. Bedroom mattress was comfortable but that’s about the only positive.

Enjoyed the area, but it is 10 miles to get ot a grocery store.

Great place

We found this condo to be perfect for the two of us. Everything is as stated in the listing. The only issue we had was that the bed in the master bedroom was very high and since I’m vertically challenged (under 5 feet) I had a very hard time getting into it to go to sleep!

A rep of the VRBO ought check properties before representing it

The property manager is in her late 80's. She met us there, opened it, gave us the keys, She told us about her husband with dementia who she can leave safely at home for a little while..... we never got our two suitcases in yet, standing in the kitchen/doorway. then she left. We knew we could reach her if problems. Tiny condo, a wall of mirror, dining table in living room, an ok sofa, decor is all about wine, and wine. Original old cabinetry, a very old fridge, plastic trim is quite yellowed. Nice dishes/silverware. Two pans, which look to be Goodwill purchases, the nonstick interiors badly worn and scratched. ( unsafe for use ). Stove unclean, cooktop not cleaned well. Carpet in living room/dining area in ok condition, though smells of stale smoker odor. Tiny bathroom original old formica decor. Dollar store cheap TP. No bar soap for showering. Bedroom carpet is very old, badly worn, badly stained. Mattress and box spring appear very new! Comfortable to lay on, but the smoker pervasive odor is in every room. I have respiratory reaction to that. There were tiny ( 1"x2" ) room scent things that were dried up, one in each room. We went to the Publix store 12 miles away to buy Febreeze, and better room fresheners. Barely made a difference. When weather cooled a bit, we opened all the windows/patio doors and that helped. Even the screened porch- odor. Manager questioned, previous owner very heavy smoker ( validated by a condo owner) new owner smokes. Listing says NON Smoking. Place reeks. Day ONE I unpack our groceries, into the refrigerator. Icebags in freezer. Day TWO - Marina for breakfast, sit outside, enjoy warmth and food. Walked , went back to condo. Then went to buy the Febreeze etc. Get back, after lunch time. I pour a glass of orange juice. It is WARM. SO I check freezer, our ice is water. Check food, all fridge food is warm. Go online check food safety to be certain. Had to throw most all OUT. Call manager. She has owner call us. He had been there a week, before we came. He said ( on speaker phone ) " The refrigerator stopped again?" Yes, we reply. IT had stopped while he was there. " I thought about buying a new one, but I cleaned it out thoroughly and it started working, when I left on Saturday" ( the day Before we arrived. We buy styrofoam coolers/ ice. Ice daily. New fridge came Thursday. Manager removed one of the 2 beach towels that day, never returned it. :O Glad to leave that condo.

Great location

Great location in a gated community. Nice restaurant with live bands playing right next door. Communication was excellent, property manager was easy to work with and was very helpful with check in.

only thing was disappointed in was how it was advertised at $85 per night and came to around $180 per night with all the add ons. Should show entire price up front.

Graduation visit

The representative Marianne was awesome. She met us at the gate and walked us through everything. Nice quiet retirement type community. The pool at the complex was great. A short walk down to the water to see manatees and even dolphins on our visit. Clean condo with all you need to live. Would stay again for sure.
