Great stay! Gorgeous community

Overall we really had a great time. The rental was a nice size for the 8 of us. Everything worked well and the view for balconies were stunning. Excellent communication with host. The community, private beach, pool, and beach bar were so convenient and fun. I only had to give 4 stars instead of 5 because the Wi-Fi was very in and out, the tv was a bit confusing to figure out, and the floors were kind of dirty. Not sticky or smelly, just dusty or sandy and there was nothing to clean them with..

Great Stay

Great communication from the host from the beginning. Very informative information prior to the stay and detailed description of property and check out. Very nice townhome.

Nice place to stay but lacking

The house was great. It was a little out of the way but not a bad dive to anywhere. We went to st Petersburg and st Pete Beach. The pools are nice and the beach was great. Unfortunately the red tide kept us from really enjoying the beach. It was a nice stay but the amenities in the house were lacking. One would think that after paying two thousand dollars you would be all set. But we had to take time from our vacation to go out and buy toilet paper, shampoo, dish soap, And dish towels because there was very little or none at all. all the signs around the house about the fees you'll pay if you don't follow a rule are a bit unwelcoming. It was a real nice place. It's just unfortunate that the owner is bit out of touch with the expectations of vacationers who are paying this much for a place.

Room for improvement

The condo location was wonderful but we were blown away by how dirty it was. The ceiling fans had half inch of dust on them and floors were gross. Within the first hour of being in the condo, our feet were black from the dirty floors. The showers also had mold in them. We looked for a broom, vacuum or mop to clean ourselves but never found one. We were also surprised there wasn’t dishwashing detergent or toilet paper considering what we paid for a daily rate. The condo definitely needs some attention in terms of cleanliness. Outside of that, the condo is nice and the location was perfect.

Summer vacay

The home is very clean and spacious. Well decorated and comfortable furnishings. The amenities inside the home however were not as good. Make sure to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. Only one roll of super cheap TP per bathroom is provided and one roll of super thin/cheap paper towels for our 6 day stay was provided… definitely not enough. No hand soap was provided in any of the bathrooms or kitchen, kinda crazy as we are still living in a Covid world. Make sure to pack dish soap and dishwasher tablets if you plan to use the kitchen… only 2 tablets provided for our 6 day stay. Also make sure to bring coffee and coffee filters, none are provided- a first for us for any of the vacation rentals we have stayed at. I feel like coffee is a basic necessity. Communication with the host was not good either, had a hard time getting answers back to emailed/texted questions. I reached out about needing hand soap and replacement batteries for the roku control, never was acknowledged and never received a response. The host provides some beach gear (chairs, umbrella, boards) which was very nice to have access to. We were not able to enjoy the private beach as there was a warning posted about red tide, nothing the host can do but just an FYI. Overall had a good trip but for the price per night of the unit we wished we had better toiletries provided by our host.

Perfect location to explore Tampa Bay area

The town home is fully equipped and spacious. It was only myself and one friend so we only used the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms; this house will sleep 8 easily. The beds are extremely comfortable. From the location in Ruskin it is an easy under 1 hour drive to Clearwater, Tampa, St Petersburg, Sarasota and other great locations. We enjoyed beaches wherever we went including the private beach on the property and close by Apollo Beach. We saw the pools but did not use them. We had a great meal at Sunset Grill, one of the 2 restaurants on the property. A very short walk from the house is a fishing pier where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset our first evening. The listing does not mention stairs. There are 17 stairs from the front door to the main floor and another long stairway to the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. This would have been an issue for many of the my usual travel companions. The stairs made carrying my 45 pound suitcase a bit of a struggle. Since that was just one trip up and later one trip down it was not a great problem. Overall this house was a great find in a lovely area.

Private beach, free parking, two restaurants onsite, beach front Tiki Bar with tv's to catch a game or enjoy the daily live music. Brand new tennis court and fitness center. Two pools and a hot tub. Children playground, bocci ball, bean bag toss game, basketball court and a brand new pickleball court! Huge pier to walk down and enjoy a sunset or fish! No license needed.
