La Tortuga # 7 se encuentra en el tercer nivel (dos por encima de la planta baja) con vistas a la piscina y a las aguas cristalinas de Half Moon Bay de Akumal. Este condominio espacioso y bien equipado cuenta con 2 dormitorios, cada uno con cama de matrimonio y baño privado con ducha y buen detalle de azulejos mexicanos. El dormitorio principal también tiene una bañera gigante hundida. Tiene una gran sala de estar y comedor con resbaladores que se abren a la terraza y ofrecen excelentes vistas de la bahía. La sala de estar tiene asientos cómodos y TV con programación vía satélite. La cocina está bien equipada e incluye una barra de desayuno para asientos adicionales de comedor. Hay internet WiFi en todo el condominio y aire acondicionado y TV con DVD en las habitaciones.

Afuera, en la terraza expandida, con vista al mar, hay una mesa y sillas para relajarse, comer al aire libre y, en general, disfrutar del cálido clima caribeño y las espectaculares vistas de la bahía. Hay un balcón en la habitación de invitados frente a los manglares. Esta es la única unidad en el edificio con esta característica.

Hacienda de La Tortuga cuenta con una muy linda piscina al lado de la playa, un restaurante gourmet en el lugar (La Lunita), y muchas tumbonas y palapas con sombra en la playa de arena blanca en frente. ¡También hay acceso WiFi a la playa para aquellos a los que les gusta mantenerse conectados mientras trabajan en su bronceado!

La Hacienda de la Tortuga se encuentra en la parte central del norte de Half Moon Bay, a poca distancia de numerosos servicios, como la tienda de buceo Akumal Adventures. La bahía frente al condominio es ideal para practicar esnórquel ya que el arrecife se encuentra muy cerca de la costa y alberga una amplia variedad de vida marina, incluidas las tortugas marinas en peligro de extinción.

Hacienda de la Tortuga # 7 es cómoda y brillante, y una opción perfecta para familias pequeñas o grupos de amigos.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condos are very nice and comfortable. We rented two condos to accommodate our family. The restaurant on the main floor was very good and very convenient. There is also a great restaurant across the street that is open for breakfast and lunch. The views are excellent and the site management is very helpful and accommodating. The only issue we had is that our son is disabled and has a hard time with stairs. There is not an elevator so I would have rented lower floor units if I had realized he would have had to walk up. But that was only a minor issue for our son.

Bay pretty but accom and beach not child friendly.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great, daily cleaning like a hotel, apartment spacious though dated and in need of renovation with no laundry facilities neither in the apartment nor hotel premises. Privacy limited to 2ppl, so for a couple it's great, but for family I would go elsewhere. The balcony is a hazard for kids younger than 3 as they can slip out of the gaps so only ground floor for youngsters. Corals look pretty on Half Moon Bay, but are sore to walk on even with coral shoes as the sea slams them into your ankles, and young kids fall over hourly with cuts from the sharp rocks. Snorkel value maybe 3*. Personally I would recommend Puerto Aventuras (by the dolphins), a much nicer experience.

The apartment is beautiful, well-equipped, and comfortable. We got lucky and there was no sargassum and we snorkeled every day right in front of the condo. It was perfect! The property was beautiful, the snorkeling stellar, and the staff are all friendly and excellent at what they do. Sure, some reviewers have pointed out a few minor spots in need of updating, but you'd have to really really hate the ocean and look for something to complain about, since the entire condo has a view of the ocean (with exception of a guest room.)

The apartment was very spacious and had all we needed to prep our own meals and enjoy the beach. The pool was just down the stairs and was hardly used but was very refreshing and enjoyed by my kids. The beachfront was great - plenty of loungers and it was right beside a very nice restaurant. La Lunita had tasty food and great drinks.

Perfect Vacation Spot

We were thrilled with our stay. The view, the accommodations, the staff, the restaurant, And the hospitality. It is a wonderful spot on the beach with everything you need within walking distance. Never rented a car. Full kitchen to prepare some meals although with the coffee/breakfast spot ACROSS THE STREET, and the magnificent food at the restaurant below, we were set.

Steps from the beach, well-equipped condo, great snorkeling, good restaurants nearby - this property has everything we were looking for. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We hated to leave our little piece of paradise AKA Akumal. Our accommodations were perfect ; clean, pretty, up to date and lovely. We slept each night to the sound of the ocean breeze , and our good fortune was being able to eat nightly in the best restaurant of Akumal just downstairs. Everyone was polite and friendly, respectful re: Covid precautions- our first trip since the start of the pandemic. The town Dr. made house calls so we didn’t even have to fuss about getting tested prior to coming home. This was a perfect trip and just what we needed. We will definitely return to our hacienda in Akumal

Beautiful condo, lovely art

We had such a great time here. The condo has been updated and is even nicer than the photos with beautiful art. Plenty of room to spread out. The beach was beautiful and the pool refreshing. We will be back!

Fabulous Condo for our family vacation

We stayed at Hacienda de las Tortugas #7 for a week with our two teenagers. The Condo was perfect for us and we loved being right on the beach with a lovely terrace overlooking the bay. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals and the place was really comfortable. Roberto, the property manager, was really helpful and we loved getting around the neighborhood on bikes. We also appreciated having an excellent restaurant (La Lunita) right downstairs. We found Akumal to be a refuge after experiencing the traffic and crowds in Tulum and look forward to returning.

We love our stay at Del Tortuga. The unit was great. The only thing i couldn't figure out was the stove :(.. but other than that we loved staying there and will more than likely be back sooner than later!!

A Wonderful Vacation Home for our family

We had a wonderful stay at Hacienda de la Tortuga during a recent trip in March. We loved the spaciousness of the condo, the location, the gorgeous view (esp from the balcony) and amenities (room he even had a safety deposit box) Everything was exactly as described in the vrbo listing and we felt safe and pampered! We went snorkeling several times in Halfmoon Bay (be careful if the sea is rough), Akumal Bay (a must to swim with the turtles) and the nearby Al-kul (when you see two signs pointing in opposite directions - stay to the left - tours go to the right. Suggest going first thing in the morning or late afternoon to miss the crowds). The food was delicious at La Lunita (best meal of trip) and at La Buena Vida a short walk down the road (more casual - great vibe). Did some fun day trips to Coba (go early), Tulum and nearby cenotes (Jardin de Eden, Cristal). It was awesome being able to take a quick dip in the pool to refresh at the end of a day seeing the sights of Mexico.Highly recommend staying in this condo!
