Short boat ride to Chapman's chute and Lake Nipissing which boast some of Ontario's best fishing for walleye, northern pike, musky, small and largemouth bass and many other prized fish. Wonderful getaway with family

We had a lovely time at the Rivers edge. Stayed with our family with 4 children ages 8months to 8y/o there was something fun for everyone.

River’s Edge cottage

We enjoyed our stay. We were able to keep our boat docked in front of the cottage. The pool was clean and easily accesses. The hosts were friendly and helpful when needed.

We loved it

My wife and I were very pleased with our accommodations and Craig and Tammy were excelent hosts. Our time there was refreshing and relaxing. We walked the trail and enjoyed the quietness of the camp ground. We rented one of their fishing boats and hooked some nice bass in the lake. The site had all the amenities we needed.

Good fun getaway

This is a very nice cottage. Was very clean and had the basics there to use during our stay (we didn't have to bring extra little things to accomodate us) It was very beautiful and quiet. Fairly priced for such a peaceful outing.

Lovely home away from home

We had a wonderful week here. The dogs settled in nicely. It was a great base to explore the area Provincial Parks and hang out with friends. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Perfect place for a special moment!

This property was absolutely beautiful, super clean and the perfect location! The dock was the perfect place to ask my girlfriend to marry me! We had a great time feeding the squirrels and chipmunks and maybe even had a few favourites. Craig and Tammy were amazing hosts and we coupsnt have asked for a better stay

1st cottage rental getaway

Our stay was amazing !!!!! The cottage was cute and very clean. It had absolutely everything u need making it simple to pack. The grounds were spectacular … the pool was beautiful .. having the ability to rent boats was awesome … Craig provided clear instructions as well as some insight into fishing spots. Craig was an awesome host ! Super helpful friendly and very welcoming . The entire experience was super memorable and something we would do again !

Perfect little getaway!

The pictures online do not do this place justice. It's nestled in a quaint little campground on the water. We were surprised to find the stairs leading to the dock in our backyard! The cottage itself was very clean and well stocked with all the utensils, dishes etc that you would need for your stay. Craig and Tammy, the owners, were so nice.Tammy met us at the office as soon as we drove in and the check in process was so easy. Craig delivered our firewood shortly after we arrived and told us just to let him know if we needed anything. We rented kayaks and paddled to the falls not far from the cottage. They were beautiful!! We will definitely be back!

Everything you need when you want to get away!

We stayed for 5 days and loved every minute of it. The cottage was spotless, well-appointed, and felt like home the moment we stepped through the door. Tammy and Craig were extremely responsive prior to our visit and all through out it. They answered all our questions and helped to make sure we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. They are very friendly and it is clear they love what they do and want to make sure all their guests enjoy their stay. The grounds were very quiet with plenty of opportunity for long walks or just relaxing around the fire pit. We were able to rent a boat from Craig and Tammy and spent hours on the water exploring the river and Lake Nipissing. We didn't have any fishing gear with us but talking to other people the fish were biting (bass, pike, walleye). The cottage itself has a very well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to make delicious meals. The beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get up in the morning! We were able to watch our favoured news channels in the morning and movie channels in the evenings because they provided satellite with hundreds of channels. If you want to get away from it all but you don't want to 'rough' it this is the place to go. You will be able to relax and do it in comfort. We hope to come back again soon.

Great Getaway.

We were quite surprised to fine we had a large lot where our dog could run around, which she enjoyed.We enjoyed the space ourselves. A very nice big outdoor table and chairs.The pool was a very nice added figure as we were out of the way from the Lake. The only thing we would have liked was a better Couch. Other than that we had a great time. Thanks Craig and Tammy. the pool

Look no further

Everything about this place was fantastic. Starting with excellent communication with the owners. They answered all our questions, and offered their assistance whatever we needed throughout our stay. Check in was quick and easy, they had everything ready for us when we arrived. When we walked into the cottage, I was floored. The pictures do not do it justice. It's so perfect. Clean, bright, cozy. The kitchen was spotless, with everything you could possibly need. Living room had a super comfy couch and TV with satellite. Bathroom bright, great shower. 2 bedrooms, we only needed the one, but the other one was just as nice and sure the bed was just as comfortable. A very nice deck around back with a bbq, and table. There are the cutest chipmunks everywhere 😍 Behind the cottage is a large yard with a fire pit, and a clearing in the trees that takes you down to a dock on the river. We spent time fishing on the dock, and rented a canoe to explore the river. They also have motor boats, and kayaks for rent. Craig, the host told us how to get to a waterfall very nearby (15 minute canoe ride). I really had the most relaxing and peaceful time, and next year will not be looking for anywhere else, just re booking here. Wish I could add some of my pictures to the review 😊
