The Boathouse-Beachfront

This is a cute, cozy, rustic beach house done up in a nautical theme, located directly on the beach. This cabin boast unobstructed ocean and mountain views from the entire living area as well as from the queen size bed made up with cozy bedding located in front of a wood burning stove. The dining area is located in an ocean view window with a couch to curl up on close by. The bedroom has a single over single bunk bed, the bathroom has a stand up shower, and the kitchen is fully stocked. There is a covered sundeck with patio chairs and a picnic table and a private fire pit in front of the cabin again with the same magnificent views.

Oceanfront, steps away from the beach. Learnt that the beach is only open to dogs in the off-season, starting from September. It was the perfect playground for my dog and everyone in the area was super friendly. The beach driving low tide was a giant playground for dogs.

Short walk to sand and sea

Very comfy, funky but functional little cottage by the water. Dog friendly. Gorgeous view of the Coast Mountains. And the shower was fine!

We loved the location with the beautiful views of the mountains and the strait. We saw seals and eagles. Maybe next time we'll get lucky and see a whale.

Weekend get away

My husband, pup Tony and I, stayed at the Beach House for the long weekend. The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed to have am awesome relaxing time. It is right on the beach, with amazing views and your own private porch and bonfire. We will definitely go back. Also, Leslie was always responsive and supportive.

Quirky cabin by the sea

We really enjoyed our stay! Lovely little cabin that is more spacious as it seems at first sight. Located in a small resort, first row - right on the beach. We booked rather last minute (a couple of days before arrival) and the correspondence with Leslie was swift and easy, as was the check-in process. Leslie was super friendly and helped us with questions about the area etc. We also used their laundry facilities, which was easy and inexpensive.

Great place to get away

Cute beachfront cabin, well stocked, great views, clean and cozy. Had a nice night here away from everything on our trip north. Lovely beach location with mountain views. Wi-Fi is pretty much unusable but you didn’t come here to be on the internet anyway.

Fabulous relaxing stay

After travelling 14 hrs from Ottawa to VI we arrived at this cottage exhausted, but when we saw the views after stepping out of the car it was all worth it . The cottage was clean although rustic it was very private and the bed and pillows where very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep . We couldn’t find the wifi password because the plastic card was under the legs of the TV but the next day the office staff where very helpful and friendly . The location was incredible, my husband is a wildlife photographer and every morning we ventured onto the beach and saw seals, bald eagles , merganser ducks , pacific loons , and many more . We would absolutely stay here again except for one thing …… the shower . The owner definitely needs to replace the shower head , I’m 4’11 and could barely wash my hair under the stream . If you book and it isn’t fixed you’ll know what I mean . Other than that one frustrating inconvenience the cottage is perfect. We will definitely return !

Cozy Cabin Getaway

Black Creek is an annual destination for us to fish, retreat, and visit nearby family. This cozy cabin delivered rustic comfort and perfect beach access for walks and fishing,. We were greeted with the warmth and friendliness we cherish on the Island. The full kitchen was a plus for us. For those who are keen to work-away-from-home the wifi is very intermittent and the main bedroom (queen) is within the main living space (Excellent for ocean views and woodstove cozy moments which was perfect for us!). Of all the places we have stayed in Black Creek, this cabin and The Breakers is highly recommended! Can't wait to return!

Wonderful place!

The little cabin is just as advertised. Perfect for our family of 5. Absolutely beautiful views, right on the beach, was amazing to wake up to the sunset which can be views right from the bed. The place was clean and had everything we needed.

Great spot for a weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The beach is so beautiful and the little cabin provided the perfect cozy spot to relax and enjoy the weekend. We especially liked having the outside fire pit and wood stove. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had everything we required to cook our meals. We would definitely book again.
